Battle Meditation
Watch the new video from that australian site if you want to see some new LS powers.

No. Crit Strike. 2 weapons+Master speed 2+2=4 4 with a crit hit between around 8-20. That means maxing over 400 damage per round.

Which Jedi Style do you prefer?
I have to say this... Congrats to all of you going for roleplaying over power!!!!

The "pet" you get
Wow I'm glad that that's not the pet... Was anyone else here hoping for a biological, not mechanical pet.

Light Side new offensive power poll
Light side offensive powers? Oxymoronic? LS powers aren't offensive almost by definition. BTW I saw something like force revitilization in a clip...what do you guys think?

Addition System
Well technically Addition isn't a mini-game (though I see your point) and also there were something like 3 minigames in KOTOR 1...all not that good...

I thought the double damage was from power strike...or maybe not. What was the advantage of power strike then? This is one of the reasons I hope Obsidian releases a MUCH more detailed manual with the game. Bioware's manual was absolutely useless in terms of detailing important details. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Power strike did a bit of extra damage (useful early game...but less than useless late game). Like +18 at a big penalty. Don't remember stats exactly... Critical was awesome. was it quadruple threat range for critical hit plus stun chance?

They did. Feargus Urquhart posted a thread in the General Discussion forum about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He did? Was he really pissed off or in support of his company. It seems to me that Obsidian is doing the honorable thing. They are publically not criticizing lucasarts, though I bet they're just as mad as us. But I did notice that no one was criticized for publically flaming LA on these forums (a stark contrast to the bio-bashing).

Rejected KOTOR2 subtitles
Man are we such losers... LOL

I never actually saw the benefit of the critical strike. It didn't seem to do too much that a normal attack didn't accomplish. Maybe I just didn't pay close enough attention to my opponents' energy bars or something. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like 70% of time double damage...and stun chance... If you have two sabers and the right crystals, it's insane.

Flurry=most fun or second most fun (regular attacks have that cool looking variation). ANd maybe best early game. Critical Strike=insane in later game.

Which Saber Style is better and Why?
Yah, but it's not like the game is too hard...and if people want to do some roleplaying like that, I say go ahead.
-
Addition System
Ok...what it is is basically it requires some skill and paying attention in combat...I didn't like how twitchy it was, but I liked the concept (with cool animations and extended attacks). I was refering more to the general principal rather than the exact ruleset.

...How many times will hI have to say it?... We're not pissed that it's coming out later, we're pissed at LA (at least most of us).

The journey of KOTOR is where the most possiblities lie... Many people complain it doesn't seem to affect the ending or the major plot much, but the little things are very prominant in this game.- Which Saber Style is better and Why?
Well, there are actually sabers like that...it's werid...- Addition System
Anyone else here think that the addition system (I think it was only present in Legend of Dragoon) would work really well in a game like KOTOR?- Battle Meditation
My theory is that really powerful Battle MEDITATION requires meditation (for whole armies), but for 3 people or so you're fine standing and fighting (maybe with a -1 penalty).- Turned Base, or Clunky Combat???
Wow, and IWD doesn't even really have a plot. So, what's this ToEE system? I mean, KOTOR is kind of fun with fighting as you can see the animation and actions... Have any pnp style non-D20 systems been attempted? I'm refering specifically to CODA and unisystem.- Extra Content
I'm suprised obsidian isn't furious...it stains them almost as much as LA (maybe even more). - Feigned Roleplaying
