  1. For Bekarna, focus is really important. Ignore the high hp, high deflection enemies. There's multiple enemies with 60-75 deflection that have low hp. They are the ones debuffing you and buffing their allies and dealing damage to you. Kill them first and the battle can be surprisingly easy. I wouldn't try it before level 14.
  2. You misunderstand. People just don't want to be forced to use Epic platform. It should be available on all platforms so the gamer can choose.
  3. Gorecci Street is easier with just 2 people as long as your MC is a Cipher. It is how I always play it. This allows you to level up after killing Ilari. Takes a few tries because RNG crits and you're down. Enter from the south, stealth towards Ilari. Kill him and hit level 4. Then do the rest and let them come to you while Eder soaks up damage. It's by no means easy. I have never been able to do it like this with a char that can only do melee. They are simply stronger. For me the hardest fight was the vampire fight on splintered reef if you do not create the distraction. There's just so many enemies and they hit hard and take a long time to take down. Even at level 20 they can faceroll you. Especially if your team isn't optimized.
  4. I think you need to open it for this option to be available. Don't know the requirements.
  5. Yup Unity Console will help you. You can add items directly to your inventory. Doesn't disable achievements either.
  6. I never said devoted bonuses affects spells, i said "as you know, main thing for ascendant; extending ascended phase and minimalizing weapon damage phase" and devoted works very well with ascendant for shortening weapon phase. My pure Ascendant spends like 1 to 3 seconds per battle in "weapon" stage. Once you get Kitchen stove you don't need anything else. Unless you're fighting a single target enemy with tons of armor, but even then I found it's not really an issue. The issue for me with multiclassing ascendant is that it takes forever for it to become strong. You'll be spending most of the game fighting with weapons to be effective until you get to that tipping point where spell damage is better.
  7. Isn't zeal kind of a defining aspect of her class? Maybe she would have more zeal points if she were more zealous. What are we talking about now?
  8. Well I will wait for 2020 then and for it to go on a 85% steam sale so I can get it for like 5 bucks. Take that. **** Epic games.
  9. Texts are fine, but having an interactive loading screen is counter intuitive. And imagine the amount of people that will complain? I mean look at the loading screen niftiness Bioware pulled with Mass Effect. I kind of enjoyed the elevators and your party members bantering or just listening to the news cast. But damn, all hell rained down on that. People just wanted a still screen because they felt that it impacted loading times too much. Well it might have added 1 second of loading or something. That's the thing though. I feel that they should do their best to reduce loading times significantly so it isn't bothersome. If they do and it takes like 30 seconds or more to load then I'm ok with interactive loading screens.
  10. I love how people use the words "alpha male" as if it were something bad. /sarcasm
  11. It is a melee attack, because the raw damage is added to the rest of the attack. Although the game may have scripted it to count as a spell. Which it also is.
  12. I like the fact that the loading page says: The game contains mature content recommended only for ages 0+
  13. The devoted bonusses only count for the weapon you choose, not for Cipher spells. I don't understand the wish to combine a melee and a caster class together and then say it works. I wouldn't go for ascendant and any melee build whatsoever. If you play ascendant you'll want to max dexterity, perception and intelligence. Everything else, save might can be skipped. Ascendant has less damage on melee abilities until ascended. And then you have unlimited casts, then why stay melee? It makes no sense to me to go this route. Soulblade/tricktster is much better if you want to have single target melee damage.
  14. I requested choice information from the legacy you can create yourselves, but no one picked them up. So when you create a background legacy and leave the game for a bit you're going to have to recreate it to know what choices were in there or keep an excel sheet with more detailed information. I think they didn't expect people to use it this often.
  15. Oh damn. Looks like I won't be playing this game then.
  16. Did you play Pillars? Yep and the loading times are fine for me. Not enough time to browse through other information. Imagine wanting to go from location to location quickly and the loading times were even longer because someone thought it'd be a good idea to make the loading screens interactive.
  17. This all depends on how long the loading times are going to be. If it's like under 10 seconds then I don't care what they do with the loading screen. I'd rather have them not put anything there to speed it up rather than to cater to some dude with a potato computer.
  18. There's a fair amount of encounters that you can solo and get a lot of kills even for a tank. When I have Eder in my party I always build him tank, but he kills a lot of stuff. What's your build that you don't kill anything?
  19. Wait there are people that upgrade their rig "before" buying a game that "might" need it? Oh boy. Edit: just to confirm. All UE4 games run great at max 1080p settings on my system with a "veeeerrrryyyyy old" 980. don't listen to people that get new cards "just because".
  20. Not unfair. I think Berath got you good. So you think that the punishment is harsher than it would be for other people because of the choices you made? Interesting.
  21. It's not reasonable if it is the same character twice in a row. Like I said if you want to reset again, then enter a new character. The major issue with not resetting is that Obsidian never created a levelling system that was able to scale beyond the game they made in PoE1. And now with PoE2 they did exactly the same thing. Even the expansions give no extra levels or growth for your character. If we go to PoE3 we'd need to reset the character again. It's boring. Just go with a new character and have us experience something completely new. Having to follow the watcher again is not new, it's not surprising. The Watcher had impact on the story in PoE. In PoE2 The Watcher has like 0 impact on the story. Being a Watcher has no impact on the story either. It's only there so people can recognize you. It turned into a gimmick. So like I said, give us a new protagonist that I can actually feel invested in.
  22. That is untrue. You can set her free as soon as you arrive at the fort as long as you don't set off an alarm. You could even hoist a Principi flag, enter the fort and set her free immediately. You don't need to kill Benny before setting her free.
  23. Berath's wrath gives -1 to all stats I believe so it just makes the mc weaker. If you kill 75 enemies it should be lifted. Also, don't lie to the Gods and think away you can get scott free. I hope you hid the scroll during The Parable of Wael instead of returning it to Grimda.
