  1. is there a console command to reset romances? i had a previous romance with xoti and since after hasongo maia has been behaving like i had a previous romance and i have broken up (her speech lines have changed) even though that did not happen. and this is annoying.
  2. In the ending of poe1 . Some companions (including grieving mother) , hint that it can be damaging to the souls to let them reincarnate on hollowborn bodies that were damaged by the years living as hollowborn. So my question is if the reincarnation of the hollowborn on these bodies will impact negatively on their future reincarnation. for example, if a kid is reincarnated on a damaged body and die after a few years, will his/her next reincarnation be worse because of that? will the state of the body damage the soul? question 2 . would choosing to let the hollowborn reincarnate back strenghten hylea? while letting reincarnate back to the cycle strenghten berath?
  3. Importantly, The ONLY of these new commands that appeared after using FindGameData Ydwin which showed some reaction in the console was PT_Ydwin. Placing the command : AddToParty PT_Ydwin = Made the console say: Interpreting 'PT_Ydwin ' as 'Trigger_Script_Ydwin_Bark' . Have no idea what that means, however, Using the cheat : ToggleCursorDebug on Ydwin before she joins the party (in an old save) shows her name as: Companion_Ydwin(Clone) (b1a7e807-0000-0000-0000-000000000000)
  4. Alright. i added FindGameData Ydwin . This time the console showed some new stuff. a series of new commands involving Ydwin such as Companion_Ydwin , SPK_Companion_Ydwin , PT_Ydwin and RM_Worldmap_Sea_Int_Ydwin. Among others. However, after trying to use the command AddToParty with these new series of codes. Most of them resulted in things like Call 'AddToParty Companion_Ydwin ' Command or Script 'AddToParty' Parameter error: couldnt find an object named like Companion_Ydwin'
  5. its weird because the game is with all the required files, i even verifyed them in steam. as i said before the command to AddToParty does not even work with living characters that are not in the active party (even if they are in the party but not being used). it only work if the character is in the active party. will work with xoti only if she is already in the active party, for example but will not work if she inot being in the active party, although being in the party, The same problem seems to happen when adding the "FindGameObject " command (FindGameObject Ydwin in the console). The Console Says: Call 'FindGameObject Ydwin': No command or script named 'FindGameObject' exists. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- maybe the problem has anything to do with a strange message that appears when i load, which says: Couldnt find batch file 'BindDefaultDebugKeys.txt' in C:/Users/User/Documents/Pillars of Eternity II/Batch Files' or 'C:/Program Files(x86)/2Steam/steammaps/common/Pillars of Eternity II/PillarsOfEternityII_Data/data/batchfiles'. is the problem is perhaps related to the batchfiles or with tha set up of the game folders? My saved games are stored in User:/MyGames . could that be the source of the problem? since maybe the saves are supposed to be stored in C:/Users/User/Documents ?

It seems this command only works if the character is in the active party. for example, if i have Xoti in my active party it will work. but if she is not in the active party it wont work. It will happen the same thing that it happens with Ydwin. Same applies to the "findcharacter" command. It will only find a character name if the character is in the active party. However, doing in relation to npcs maybe could work because when i used the console to add a npc some distinct messages appeared in the console. Can someone test if these commands work on your game?

  8. Since no one answered, im guessing the answer is that there is no way to revive characters, right ? please answer here if there is.
  9. after a long time i noticed ydwin dissapeared, probably died during pirate fight. is there any way to revive her? maybe through the console or some mod ? is her name still "Companion_Ydwin(Clone)" ? AddToParty Companion_Ydwin(Clone) does not work. any way to revive ydwin ?
  10. the best alternative is that your character could die but reincarnate in a new body many years after with partial memory only. the old npcs would exist but only as npcs. and they would be older with a formed life. would send you to quests, etc. perhaps a few other characters coudl also die and reincarnate in new bodies with only partial memory as well.
  11. 1) abilities influencing dialogues. dumb characters need to be made fun of. 2) if your character behaves in a way that angers a party member, they should react and in some extreme cases even become hostile. this happen in poe 2 , but is too rare. maia does not even attack if you tell her you sacrificed kana. 3) combat misses needs to be a little more detailed., a miss is not to be restricted by a dodge, it should also be represented by a block animation (a character blocking an enemy weapon) , or a weapon hitting weakly and harmlessly a character (hitting armor, for example). 4)deities should react in dialogues if your character behaves in a way that displeases them. 5) keep factions, as they are always very important for the story.
  12. during the game, when scrolling the screen, moving horizontal semi-transparent flickering lines appear in the monitor image. how do i solve this problem? i had this problem before and solved it by uninstalling and reinstalling the geforce gtx 1050. but now this is not working. anyone know how to solve this visual issue ? is it related to the motherboard? my former motherboard had problem nd i replaced it by a weaker motherboard. regarding the monitor, i already replaced the image cable (although not the vga adapter) but the problem persists.

I like a lot deadfire , awesome crpg . but i know some reasons why it was not as sucessful as expected (although it was not flop , for what i have read, the sales became regular after all the expansions were released ). first the secondary reasons. fewer companions than in poe 2 , possible extra companions replaced by the sidekicks (half-made companions). bad naval battles. poe2 is also more unbalanced. lack of evil companions, details like companions not fighting with the player and other companions based on actions during the game. maia should become hostile if you mention you sacrificed kana, for example. but the PRIMARY REASONs , which im sure were REAL CAUSES . first, is that in poe2 you have to have played poe1 to understand the story of poe2. and you also return to level 1 in a way that breaks the immersion (the poe1 companions also return to level 1 for an unexplained reason) , second there is also the fact that was no kickstarter at all. THAT were the real causes. regarding kickstrter, i dont think it need to to be fully backed by kickstarter, but a partial financing is very useful. the main cause was really the lack of kickstarter. all other causes could have been surpassed by using it.
