  1. In my opinion, the fix for missing ability/power/card feat is quite easy. Really easy for a programmer just comparing effective unlocked elements with theoretical ones based on the character level, to activate then the missing unlocks. So, it's annoying but don't worry about recovery. It s more a scheduling problem I think. When will they code that? Before or after the AD4 release (already delayed since 3 months)? Personally I hope AD4 first asap, because all the players will have several weeks to focus around Story scenarios and devs could focus and accelerate Quest mode issues. But a lot of players have also critical issues lately with crashes, so ...
  2. An easy solution for all players could be a single manual reset every day to update the challenge. In this way if a player want to finish a specific challenge and he needs more than a day, he can maintain it as long as he want. It is a very common solution I have already seen for this type of problem in a lot of apps.
  3. Hardly there will be a fix tool for every specific inconsistency of Quest data, too many possibility for an automated tool mate, the data recovery is quite hard and long work... The editors are fastest but they require time to rebuilt the same characters from new instances, and if you can choose the equipped cards is like cheating.. (I just remembered my super Amazon in Diablo II ... ) The fastest solution is still Hannibal's one. But next time, I suggest you to take backup of your game data to recover your chars, with a minimal penalty. It's only 30 seconds a week to play safely
  4. It is a bug mate. I have seen that too. The 'cloned' versions are funny, cause give you good stuff for other characters.. I also experienced 'revive' of characters I deleted weeks before... Anyway I don't play Quest for its instability. Too easy to lose everything you have built in hundreds of games or to get stuck or, now, to lose ability/power/card feet. The last patch has a lot of fix but the game needs an other couple of patches like that. And people (who paid for) are also waiting the expansions since months... So if the core debug is the first priority, the Quest mode is the last I suppose..
  5. For the damage reduction challenge, simply play 3.5 with difficulty above normal. You'll get a lot of damage for every character after EVERY henchman. Then you need something to absorb the damage, as Sihedron Medallion. Not hard, just long (you don't need to win the scenario)
  6. I think that the game could update the available scenarios if you remove the experienced characters. If that way doesn't work, you have to complete the required scenario with Ezren and experienced characters before Daily challange, so Ez gets it in his completed ones. Then you can launch the solo quest for Ez.
  7. There aren't instructions or official manual at the moment... I had your same problem and I always ask to expert players for help. For the daily challenge I think you need to make a party and play the scenario in Story mode as indicated in the challenge itself. When you unlock cards through the chests, they are stacked in the gallery (use the treasury filter). You can select cards you don't want or unnecessary duplicated to have the button to sell them. Save duplicates for your favorite cards to have a greater chance to encounter them anyway.

  9. Yes, that could be connected too. Correct me in case, but if I remember well the data upload for offline playtime in Story mode is just postponed to the first online occurrence. And normally in conflict case in the cloud the younger one 'wins' over the older one. So if the most recent data was on the device, I could expect that at sync time it overrides the cloud. But this is just a general concept, I have no idea about the architecture devs used for that. I m sure I was still getting gold earned messages (ex. closing location, winning scenario) and I also bought a couple of chests in the end, so I don't know what happened. Also the notable thing is that some very old characters revived, because they didn't exist when I completed that adventure the first time. It seems to me that there are multiple 'screenshot' of the data that persist in time and sometimes they switch back (or get 'fused' together). I have already seen one 'revival' or two in the past after some deletions, but I used the fast practical approach there, deleting them again
  10. Hi guys, a week ago I completed the adventures with all my characters to unlock everything possible at the moment. I had a second party in Story mode of course and after completing scenario 2.5 (I have already completed adventure 3, so that was the last), I removed the party. Before that I also used some secondary characters, then deleted, with different equipment and build. So, yesterday, after some days, I started the game again and: - the deleted party was still there - the current mission for the returned party was ... 2.5 turn 27 (!!) - my last characters still miss the AD2 completion rewards and last deck management I did (!!!) - all the characters I had ever deleted in Story mode was still there (!!!!) It was quite surprising and annoying and funny at the same time, cause now I have some useful duplicated cards I can manage (ehi you, stay far from my account and never think about that again!!), but I also think that the data storage procedures have some serious problems. Also the lock on the characters portrait in the party management is quite 'volatile'.. but I can't say more about that, sorry guys

  12. You just missed the patch note 1.0.3.5 and the hotfix 1.0.3.6 that I reported as the only patches I have seen in the month I m playing... But you still can, they are pinned in the top of the Announcements and News. You can look at them and found the 10 point with the issues fixed and the clear correction of p2p purchase function... But you got the historic patch 1.0.2 of May 6th (also reported 2 times).... So: 1) learn to read date 2) learn don't miss update/patch/hotfix 3) learn to read the specifications 4) learn to understand the software specification 5) learn to look around yourself, you are still the only one who says treasure chests and gold are features for f2p players only... So have we to pay money to have chests or better to pay to unlock every card in the game at the beginning? Your thesis have sense only in your mind...

Of course there is, with the gold farming to buy chars , adventures and chests (which premium also need to get gold for, but no prob for me there, consider it extra content and an incentive to play more). The new gold distribution by team members was also clearly another step in fixing the system, but also meant resources directed to fix the F2P system and not bugs. No mate, the gold system is to maintain players for long term through chests to unlock cards (with a casual extraction). It would still be there if game was p2p. If you buy the bundle you unlock chars, (available) ADx, deck C+P, nothing more. Still you have to play hundreds of hours to collect cards and gold to buy chests to collect missing cards. If you buy the bundle in practice you save 30 hours to collect chars and unlock the others AD. Nothing more cause I m not interested at all in C+P decks. I played repeating scenarios with 2 chars, then with 3, then with 4 then with 6 chars and I unlocked in the meantime the ADs. That because I hadn't good equipped cards, the same of you! So it's very funny because it's the same thing I would have done if I had bought the bundle... The only difference is the use of first amount of gold, cause p2p got chests while f2p got unlocks. But at the moment I m getting 2 chests every single hour farming gold... but if you can do better with C+P decks I'm listening.. Without gold system you could only buy treasury chests (with 4 casual cards inside) for real money, like a slot machine... and also if I m a developer I hate those *** casino applications and who develop them.. Then look the prices: 9.000 gold for 10+ €, 20.000 for 21+ €... So, gold system is for every normal player who plays this game for fun! You are the only one to think it's for f2p players only. Also, the only patches I have seen were: - to solve 10 (ten) progression breaks (good only 50 remaining), 1 login issue and stuff with chests - to solve an issue 'that is revoking your purchase of RotR bundle' That doesn't seem for f2p players at all. Try reading the patch specifications next time....
  14. Yes, I m agree. 25 $/€ is a lot for a game, as a full game for pc or consoles. All players that have already paid the full price need more attention and technical support. As f2p player I can't ask for that. But you all who already paid full price since months, you can for sure. They already closed beta and scheduled content delivery every month since then. That isn't correct with you. I don't think there is a f2p part, in the end a player who slowly unlock chars could still buy treasury chests for the same price or more.
  15. The problem is that she hasn't any melee/ranged base value. So get a 9 with just +2/3 of animal bonus is quite expensive, cause Beast Form just switches one dice. I normally discard the weapon to have a better bonus with low cost, because she has offensive spells and a good cure. Then Holy Light is so good, until AD3 at least.
  16. Don't worry mate. All the stuff you bought will still be there after the re-installation. As Hannibal said, be sure to back up the save data directory of the game to maintain the Quest characters.
  17. For sure if the game wasn't f2p with optional p2unlock, still there should be the same number of paying players and none of f2p. Simply all the f2p tried the game for a while then leaved cause low content, low rating and high bugs... But I understand why you are angry. Personally I prefer to try something before to buy it for that reason. A car, a chair or a software are the same. Problem is they are spending few time on this project for more complex and bigger and valuable pc software I fear.. Anyway, if you love the game as you say, think to make it available all over the world to have the largest community of players playing together. That will be great and many more players of a bigger community also will pay for the game to have everything unlocked. Me too in the end, as they release the multiplayer feature. But again, half content and too many bugs at the moment. We have to wait 2017..
  18. Hi guys, I m wondering if I choose correctly to give a weapon card to Lini, instead of an other offensive spell... Personally I don't like the weapon roll with her, but perhaps it could be useful in future... What do you think, do I have to change the built?
  19. I don't think at all. The problem is just come only in Quest mode, a feature with random generation added in the digital game for long term players, because Boa is classified as henchman and still comes out from the pool as other normal henchmen. That case doesn't exist at all in the real RuneLords physical game, so the physical game developer never intended it. The other situation you describe doesn't exit in RuneLords from what I can see. The only similar scenario is 4.4-Under Jorgenfist, with 2 villain but still with henchmen and closing condition for defeating them. So it 's reasonable to suppose that decks in RuneLords don't let you win with full explorations in any circumstances. Also, Hannibal explained how to win that specific Quest scenario: with heavy scout. So or you have a lot of those scout cards in your decks or you statistically fail. That s the reason why this thread exists imo.

  22. I want the game to be successful exactly as you mate. I assure you that. But think that hold programmers and managers on a free app has its cost anyway. And a company has to pay his employers every month. That's why they released the clearly incomplete application too early, that's why they are so slow in patching and fixing. Other companies use pre-order concept where people can buy the application with some future benefits without play the game at all for a year. Really better if it's released to public then, cause developers can have a huge feedback and issue reporting. And that what I m doing. I reported perhaps twenty issues with screenshots and description in a week to give as much information is possible to identify causes and define quickly solutions. They closed the beta test too early. It's clear for all. That's why I continue to say this is still a beta version. And their scheduling was too much optimistic. Still clear for all. But you know how it will be the final version of the game because you know perfectly the physical game.. We all want it asap, but we can't change their business planning just because we love the game. This is still a free app with marginal income per month and no one works for free. That's why I think that our best shot is to support the game without completely quitting and reporting any useful information about issues. We want the same thing, just through different ways.
  23. Yes, they released and are selling a prototype version of the game with half adventures, no multiplayer, a lot of issues. And some people are buying a beta release with half adventures, no multiplayer and a lot of issues. You can buy everything and pretend to be the perfect final product that it has never been. But you have seen it exactly how it was at that moment. If you can't distinguish a prototype car from a final release, it is your fault. If you expect development speed increases more than it has ever done, that's still your fault. I have seen the product and I have seen fix/lifetime rate and I already said they will need 1 year at this speed to complete the product to a final revision. But in meantime I have known the game and how the physical game works and I like it. Because I like the society rpg board game and this is the best I have found in a decade. Then I like the idea to play that game in a digital version with players all around the world as we still were around the table. So? I haven't spent a single euro to play this game and I have already all unlocked with no annoying ads in less than a month. I m playing a great game still in prototype-kind-of-beta for free and I ll wait until the company complete the development or stop to develop it, just because it is the transposition of a physical great society game. Your expectations or payments don't affect my vision of the game or the actual state of the product. You can hold position and see, or you can quit. Your choice.
