Scrying can't be undone
RedPred replied to RedPred's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Sorry for my English guys, it's boiling here -
There are some triggered mandatory discard that want a single card, but also give you the possibility to discard additional cards. In that case the X button doesn't work (cause the first discard is mandatory), but also you can't change your mind with the additional (and optional) cards you select after the first one (cause the undo base mechanic works on the full discarded set only).

Scrying can't be undone
RedPred posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Using Scrying I changed my mind and tried to undo the card activation (pressing the red X on the left). But nothing happened and the game just waited for my target location. -
Hi, playing at Garrison and closing the location triggers an automatic presentation of weapons still in the location deck that quickly and automatically close, and make you just see the image of those cards for half a second. Could you put a continue button to let players valuate cards and easily read their description too? There are other situations with fast presentation and shuffle of location deck without time to valuate properly the cards, but my memory isn't so good to list them all, sorry guys..

Personally I thought also to buy the game, because it's exactly the type of game I was looking for since years. What stopped me: - really high prize for an Android game (there are old full pc/console games at 10€, or recent pc games at 30€) - the fact I can't avoid to observe the game still as a beta release (too many bugs and instabilities) with slow fix rate. Anyway the RNG is a thing, the re-mapping of the numerical sequence on every procedure that uses it is a different thing. In other words, the generation problem is different from the re-ordering problem.

I m using Asus ZenPad 8 and some emulators for pc and my buttons for all decision problems are in contact. No space at all. I really hope you find a way to separate them a little cause moving the hand from bottom to top naturally produce a frequent contact in the middle area (that seems not reactive fortunately) targeting the top button. Anyway I really have to pay attention to avoid bad selections.

Yes, as Hannibal said, I think you can dismiss the old party (the X button on the top of every party in Story screen) without loosing the characters. Then make a new party with the same crew. The unlocked scenarios are connected to the party members, so they will be identical. Also you could try to pass that scenario through a different devise, cause Story mode data is saved on the server. I freely switch between tablet and pc (look for Memu emulator, quite better than Bluestacks)

Hi, I very happy with my 6-chars crew going around to beat every villain at Normal and sometimes Heroic difficulty. But in the end I get only 100 or 150 gold with them. No matter how many they are in the party. Could you think about a small bonus for party size also for the lower difficulties? Thanks in advance guys

Blessing lost in the space
RedPred posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Story mode easy - scenarios 2-5. Seelah collects an ally and in her following turn moves to Shadow Clock with Kyra waiting to corner the villain (discovered in an other location). Then Kyra is moved and Seelah explores a couple of cards cause location resets the hand at the beginning of the turn and we miss the ally in hand to close, but at the end of turn the ally return in hand (I had a short 'life'). Now Seoni enconters the villain: 2 locations temporary closed with skill rolls while Shadow Clock closed banishing the ally in Seelah's hand. Victory, reward, skill feet, deck management ... one Blessing of Iomedae missing in Seelah deck...!! Why ? When ?? Who ??? Why to me??? Where is the link to technical support ... !?? The only banned card (manually selected) was the ally for the temporary closing... -
Meresiel role card.
RedPred replied to Urtar37's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Yes, check your two chars completed every scenario in that adventure, it doesn't count the last mission. Then complete what you miss and you ll get the end adventure reward at that moment. -
Crashed before open the app...
RedPred replied to arcaril's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Throw BlueStacks out the window mate. Try Memu emulator for win os. You updated the game with the last patch and the version of some Google service pre-installed in BlueStacks are obsolete. I had the same problem. With Memu and other emulator, then, you could have problem downloading any app (like the game) cause their Google services version. Try to manually clean the data/cache of Google Play Service, Google Play Games, Google Play Store. Also removing any updates (app to factory reset). In a couple of try u ll have the game working perfectly on the emulator in win os. You can recover also the Quest mode data, copying the directory below in your new guest system (so copy it in the shared directory in Windows before unistalling BlueStacks): \Internal storage\Android\data\net.obsidian.pacg1\files\PACG1_SAVE_GAMES -
If what you say is true at point 1: [1,2] on d6 is 1/3 chance, 6 in a row is (1/3)^6 = 1/729 chance = 0.137 % chance With all 'you have in your head' you could win the lottery! Anyway I m taking statistics now: shuffled location deck with changed top card vs unchanged ones. Also with number of cards to have a parametric function, so I flushed old data. But I m not paranoid, just don't spy my data! For the rest honestly it's seams normal casual extraction. I also got [1,1,1,1] rolling 4d6 (1/1296 chance) once, but I have thousands of rolls.

I think that the tablet market as an enormous potential. Almost every big company has already titles in the store (and not for free) with high reuse of games of a decade ago. And new titles are coming out every week. Probably this is a matter of organization because this could be their first Android project (with a business partnership), so the quality and scheduling are quite significant. Also the community quickly loved the game and started an heavy stress test on every single line of code and input combination. Personally I simply think the game is a beta release, then after the final revision the game will be one the best rpg board-game of any digital store for years!

I have an admission to do. There are a couple of situations where I use some issues at my advantage (exploit). I see the limitation, I understand the back-end (without reverse engineering) and I use specific sequence of iterations to avoid some bugs.. That to say: there are mechanics where different and equivalent sequences produce a different output and they wouldn't. I still see a beta version. Then it's only matter of how many programmers you have on the job, how many hours they works on a project, and how many projects they work on.

Personally I have the same problem. The auto-shuffle of the location deck really love to reset on the top the same monster or trap. But if we are just you and me among thousands of players it could be. Otherwise is an algorithm lack and other players doesn't take care of it (or think it's just in their heads). I don't play a lot Quest lately, but if I understood well how it works, that game mode unlock specific tier at specific level and it could be also exclusive. In other words, after the level 10 I didn't meet anymore the previous villains but only the ones in the tier 1 group. So it could be for the locations for induction (every released adventure has its own locations with something new). So I preferred to play Story mode to have higher variety in villains and location and loot collection. Also I tried easily different builds for some characters, cause in 18 scenarios you can fully rebuild any character you have. In Quest mode with 18 scenarios you get at most a couple of levels and 1 feat unlock (after level 15 and easy difficulty, cause I don't have good equipment) ... and cards from the same tier (the improvement in my decks there is quite slower than the amazing collection among all the adventures and their tiers of Story mode).

Shuffle function need a tweak
RedPred replied to RedPred's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
It could be for sure I got the worst unlucky shuffled decks in a row. That's why I started the thread, to determinate statistically through the community if it's a rare casualty or a 'common' condition. I don't know the algorithm they used, but normally you need the 'module' operator to implements the casual numeric extraction. So a bad implementation could get everyone to think to have an unlucky row.. Perhaps I also got some prejudice. I played a lot in the last week end and I have seen so many different bugs all together.. Hardly to miss them if your job is develop application too. So in my opinion game is a commercialized beta version. And the rate fix/lifetime is so low, it will still be there for next year. They have first to fix their quality system and modular test procedures. All the durable bugs and instability are just a consequence. It's really a pity, this is actually the best digital rpg board-game (without the bugs) for Android system and pc (through several Android emulators) actually in the store. And I looked for it so long... and multiplayer feature is still so far.. So sad about that -
Ally teleport..
RedPred posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I just know that at the end of the scenario (Brigandoom Story mode easy), Seoni had an ally missing, and Kira had a Sheriff Hemlock she never found. Also they never played in the same location... So, in all my playtime: - 1 ally teleport (I don't know if in game or later) - 1 item teleport (in game for sure) - 1 spell lost (Manage Decks, during swap in scenarios selection screen) I have to update my personal estimation, fixing the game will require 1 year at least with the actual assets.. -
Shuffle function need a tweak

Just an other 'lucky' shuffle. The only one monster in Academy shuffled to the top of 10 cards location deck.. -
Insane game mechanics..
RedPred posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Academy (Easy Story mode, one monster) with Lem First card is Goblin Warrior Lem uses Web to move the goblin to the bottom. Rolls to recharge Web: Lem uses Solo Performance and Kyra helps with Aid Rolls to recharge Aid Academy triggers the unbeaten card animation and shuffle the location deck (??? very bad feeling..) Academy triggers AT_THIS_LOCATION condition and draw a new card (cause the first exploration wasn't a spell). Goblin Warrior comes out again (!!! h.s. are you kidding me??... And I used 2 cards and recharged one..) In the image you can see the last combat, with Lem's deck 4 of 6 cards and 0 discarded. Seriously who wrote the code for you guys? Could you think about a public code repository for community programmers to help you debugging? They would really love to help, I m sure Also, I wrote an other thread to suggest a tweak to the shuffle function cause clearly the statistic theory is out of the used algorithm... com'on 1/10 and he returned to the top?!
