  1. An editor for a tablet game for Android/ios is not a great idea.. Too many different type of corruption are possible, data could be unreadable... Then they will stay for an other year to fix the editor ... And if you can freely set the characters sheets, we will have an explosion of instant lvl 40 ... And there is a lot of work behind that utility (for win+mac ?).. and you have to maintain it updated every times there are changes in data structures with retro compatibility. Instead, an in-game check and re-enable the character power-up interface is much more safe and quite fast with few lines of new code. You could launch it at the login and, if checks fail, fix missed elements one by one... once for all. Also all these issues are connected to the last patch... so the fastest solution is to undone the Quest modified code. Also.. I'd like deeply to complete Story campaign in 2016... an expansion for month was a good dream two months ago...
  2. The rule reported by Ethics Gradient explains exactly the situation in the images. It's not an issue, just ambiguous labels of used ability parameters. Basically the logic for the images is: Strength (default), melee (with weapon revealed), melee (with weapon removed). If the devs remove the word 'combat' and explicitly rename it as the ability, it will be clearer for all.

  4. Exactly the fact you don't roll dices. And if you use a new setting in Option, you also don't need to hit the 'autoroll button'
  5. I'm not sure but if Combat Melee doesn't requires a revealed weapon (if you can use it freely instead of Strength), then all the images are correct. Image 1: Strength (4) Image 2: Melee (7) + weapon bonus (+2) - location power (-1 * 2 dices = -2) Image 3: Melee (4+3=7) So if you can use freely Strength or Melee value for combat check, it's ok. If you need a melee weapon for Melee Combat, there is really a bug. But I don't know the physical game rules enough..

Fundamentally we are asking to add a simply option in settings that enable avoiding roll on ability check to close a location if you have already the base value guaranteed, or to fight if you have an easy 'reveal' option to overtake the bane. It's just an setting addition with an easy expression. No sensible overhead for computing that, also if game iterates through all the weapons in our hand.
  7. I think all values are defined by the devs, with each bane in a group of difficulty.
  8. Yea, in physical game you don't roll at all, I think.. I agree completely. And I have also seen an other game for Android with the same complexity working great with 'auto win/lose' feature (Talisman, an other digital board game with added expansions). So it's really time to make the game faster where it is possible imo.
  9. One very important thing. Every character uses a specific skill bonus when fighting, so a couple of point there at least for first thing! You'll find Melee/Ranged bonus for some, so look at the weapons they are using to stack correctly the bonus. When they can fight and win then take a look to closing ability check to help them there if you have still free skill points. Then, don't worry, I full rebuilt 2 characters in the first month when I got experience in the game. It's normal and you can easily collect gold and good cards doing that. GL mate
  10. Yea, conceptually you could have a powerful essence in a flask, but it could be still 'un-drinkable'... also if Sajan is a known 'boozer'

I already play buying a couple of chest per day, so that doesn't change anything for me at the moment, but I can understand all the players enjoyed trying to collect all the cards, and now it will be longer.. I think all players that are complaining with f2p access now can be quite satisfied... if you want the chest discount you have to pay...

  13. Mate, look in the Gallery for added cards. Look in the party management to see if any dice is added (in the pop up menu of your party characters).
  14. The problem of half content for Story, issues in the core, bugs for Quest, no multiplayer feature is quite sad, because the timeline will be obviously long at this point. Devs knows how many accounts are become inactive. But I still think this game has a huge potential when it will be complete and fixed. And devs have ideas to make the game more funny for all its players. So, take a break, take a change if you need and try new apps. But then return to check where the game is arrived from time to time mate
  15. It's a rare bug. It happens to Story mode too. Quest mode is quite bugged mate at the moment, the only defense is a manual backup of your local data (Quest doesn't go on cloud). In this way if anything goes wrong you can restore working data. Normally you have to delete local data of the app to remove the dead-end of the Quest, and starting a fresh one...
  16. You are right. Also if I use a new clean installation, the game download 'mixed' data from the server, so data on the cloud are usable but not 'clean'. Then I experienced they change by themselves also if I use only one devise for a period of time, like when the old party of a week earlier returned. But it's not a big deal, just some characters to delete sometimes and some variations in the equipped cards.
  17. I'm quite sure the portability need a fix at the moment. I opened few days ago a thread for a problem like yours. My game is re-spawning old parties and characters. For some reasons old data is saved somewhere and still can be accessed from time to time when you log in to the server with a different device. At the moment I can't play 2 days in a row with the same party, but luckily it isn't a big deal, because all my party instances have similar equipment and unlocked scenarios, then gold and unlocked cards in Gallery are always correct anyway
  18. Hi there, the second you said! You can get only the cards from the location decks that you still have at the end of the scenarios and they replace other cards in your characters decks. So check carefully what you discard in the final decks management step. All the rewards (as the chests) are unlocked cards that you can find. You can see all the cards you have unlocked in Gallery selecting the right filter at the bottom. More cards you have more chances you have to find them playing. And you can salvage duplicates that you don't need for same gold. GL&HF mate

  20. I don't know if you experienced that too, but if I use the Wand of Enervation (normally from Seoni's deck) I lose extra added dices for the roll. Evolution: In image 1: Merisel turn, no weapon, but she uses her ability and discard the card to add 2 dices and +1 Then Seoni uses Wand and roll 8, correctly subtracted In image 2: Merisel lose her extra dices, her ability is disabled and the used card is still over the discarded pile. There is anyway a solution to avoid the issue, just using the Wand before to add any other extra dices. In case remove all the extra added dices from all the characters that are helping, then you can use the Wand and add all the extra dices you need again.
  21. The animation of Major Cure recharges first the number of cards rolled by dice, then an additional card. The peculiarity is the additional recharged card, that is added also if discarded pile is empty. So simply the animation is a little strange if you pay attention
  22. Already checked my zenpad 8. Same situation with a different extra characters composition. Anyway if android store (or apple store) let you install the game on any other devise and emulator, the player data on the server has to remain safe and consistent, because portability among supported devise is an important feature (and a lot of players loves play on pc too). Somehow full equipped characters and party of days ago are added bypassing some limitations and checks. It's the application itself that adds them back from the past with specific name and date, so it's important to understand how and why. I don't have any great card, so all those duplicates aren't useful, but there could be a future exploit on that.
  23. Probably the game is strictly connected to the original board game, so all the card properties. If 'googling' you find the physical card, that is the final state of the digital representation too I think mate

  25. Hi guys, I m trying other emulators looking for better performance and functionality. So some days ago I installed the game and did a login, then today I have launched it. It asked for an update, done. Then I entered in Story and I found a mix of old parties/characters and new ones. In the image you can see some added characters [name]" 1" (also there is a [name]" 2" equals to the new character). The 'lock character' function shows a different problem with the selected party. I won't change anything if you need to check the data, just I ll try to play a couple of scenarios during the day. PFID 3D4E62915170C421
