  1. The issue of a card being shuffled into the deck and yet being the next card encountered has existed for several patches. I for one have mentioned it (and my deep suspicion of the randomiser) several times over the last few months. It certainly happens more often than 1 in N (where N is the number of cards in the Location Deck).
  2. We feel your pain, you are not alone. I certainly agree with you that the number one ask I have of OBS is "fix bugs, don't add features", because every new feature added has significant gameplay-affecting bugs, contributing to a net increase in bugs with every patch. The intermittent bug with all forms of Healing has already been reported several times http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/89942-1143-lini-cant-heal-herself/ but OBS have not acknowledged that post yet (they are very, very slow to respond so older reports get overlooked, hopefully this will bump the issue). I don't know what the trigger is, so I can't suggest a workaround. It's just something we have to live with until OBS can repro it and it gets to the top of the heap in a couple of patches time (at best).

Lem finished his turn having collected a Potion of Ghostly Form (using Solo Performance because of the Wildcards) then an Acolyte (no modifiers needed). Harsk's first Encounter was an Ogrekin. The Ogrekin rolled "3" (cannot be evaded) and then there was a Progression Break (no active buttons for Encounter/Progression). I tried a VRT, Main Menu, Killing the App, Launching another Story Mode party all to no avail. Every time I come back to that party the Ogrekin dice roll is triggered, the Ogrekin goes back on top of the Location Deck and a Progression Break hits. I suspect that the only solution will be to delete the party, which will undo all my hard work on progressing this party on Legendary.   4. Short answer to your question: "no". OBS response rate is very variable and generally very low, you should consider this a community support effort. OBS largely just harvest bugs for their lists (which they fill up faster than they clear) and respond directly to issues related to payment and game/content access. Other than that, we're largely on our own.
  5. Can you provide a screenshot of the symptom? I'm struggling to identify what you mean by "none of my characters (or any characters) have a check beside their hand size". Are you on the Character screen reviewing Feats, or somewhere else?
  6. Agreed. If they aren't going to allow a re-roll (and they shouldn't) then the difficulty modifier should be retained from the first roll.
  7. further to my 2-part post on with 1.1.4.3, Harpy Monks at the Temple I have a post for 1.1.5 Device: BlueStacks emulator OS: Android 5.1 PACG build: 1.1.5 Pass & Play: OFF Permadeath: OFF Mode: Tutorial/Story/Quest Party Members: Amiri, Lini, Seoni, Harsk, Lem Turn Order: can't remember Scenario: Black Tower (4.3) Difficulty: Legendary Wildcards: Driving Rain, Fortified Position Location: Temple Trigger: Harpy Monk Seoni was at the Temple and Encountered a Harpy Monk. Everyone else also joined the party at the Temple (apart from Lem, who was up to no good elsewhere - having made his Wisdom check, Lini was there by choice). Seoni made her Wisdom Check (expensive - but we knew she'd Ace the Combat). There was a Progression Break after the Wisdom Check so I performed a VRT and when I came back it appeared that Combat was over but that the Harpy Monk was on the top of the Location Deck So I performed another VRT and this time when I came back Seoni had reset her hand and was totally tooled up for the Combat. Only there was another Progression Break. This time I had to kill the App. Only when I came back I had now failed the Wisdom Check. Fortunately, I had the WoE and so success was - though not inevitable - pretty certain. As it proved to be. Another truly weird day that The Temple, what those Harpy Monks are smoking is beyond me, but there seems to be enough that affects the whole area!
  8. I think you hit a sequencing issue. It shouldn't have mattered, but if you'd given the check to Harsk and *then* used the WoE it would have worked (it always has for me). I'm surprised that changing the Character who was doing the check didn't do a complete reset, but there again, if you'd already rolled the die for the WoE, a complete reset would be tantamount to an exploit.
  9. Ah, right. I guess that makes sense. I hadn't really thought of the damage resolution as being part of the check in terms of blocking the use of additional items.
  10. Ezren and Scrying/Augury. Not a good combo for bug avoidance in my experience! Not sure that I've had him actually move, but I've certainly had some weird changes in Current Character as a result of (often "off-turn") Scrying/Augury.

Really, it's best to log one bug per thread because otherwise each bug spawns a discussion within the thread and it becomes impossible to keep track of what's going on (and we don't want to make OBS's job any harder otherwise they'll fix even fewer bugs than they do now). So long as you use "Turtleback" in the name of the post you should be able to keep track of your threads.
  12. Playing 4.5 on Legendary with Seelah when she cast a Major Cure on herself. Imagine my disappointment when she rolled a 3 and - although the animation happened IIRC - no cards were transferred from the 9 in her Discard to her diminishingly small Deck. In the same Scenario, Kyra cast Mass Heal on Sajan and successfully healed both of them. The Wildcards on this one were Banes +4 and Bury Armour, Weapons and (something)
  13. And I've just checked and confirmed that it wasn't a match with the Blessings deck in my case either. Definitely a bug (unfortunately). Bet the Devs prioritise this one over the detrimental bugs.
  14. It's been working for me on 1.1.5 for half a dozen games in Story Mode at Scenarios 4.4 and 4.5

  16. What a new feature that introduces a game-killing bug? Surely not? Let's hope that "next release" comes along soon, we seem to have a number of new (not to mention a huge number of outstanding) bugs.
  17. Closing the game and restarting should work. If it doesn't then you could try a VRT (Vault Round-Trip), that sometimes works. If that doesn't work then I have a set of larger hammers that I could suggest (but there's some risk of data loss, so we should try the VRT first, though I'm not hopeful if killing the game didn't work as that's a number 3 hammer compared to a VRT @ #2 )
  18. Ah. Maybe. Wouldn't like to say. My confidence in the App has been somewhat shaken, so my assumption is always that it's the App throwing a loop, rather than me failing to check what's going on. I'll try to remember to check everything in future
  19. Nah, I doubt it: I just don't get that lucky that often. It's much too frequent for that. But I'll check, good point!
  20. I think that I've tried Locked Doors and tried a Blessing of Gorum to no avail. But maybe I've tried a Chest/Locker. I'll see whether I can remember to check next time it happens. As you say: a Stealthily thrown Venomous dagger (not acidic, poisoned) jars really badly with my sense of Theme.

I find this odd because I have tried to add a Blessing of Gorum to a Combat/Melee against a Barrier and it hasn't been allowed, so I'm surprised that a Recharge - and indeed Sneak Attack and a Blessing of Erastil would work.

Played a Blessing of Calistria with a Revealed Venomous Dagger +2 to defeat a Bane (can't remember which - Ghoul?). The Calistria Recharged as expected. So Discarded the Abadar to Explore - and to my surprise the BoA was Recharged too.
  23. Further to this, in what way is Sajan able to assist in this case? You can see his "!", but switching to his screen shows nothing of use
