Happy 10th My order would be; Alpha Protocol > KOTOR 2 > > > > > FO:NV > Dungeon Siege 3 NWN2 is still unplayed (yeah, yeah, I know) 2 good, 2 bad is still a pretty good score for a game-dev. My best memory? The interview of course with (ex-)Obsidian guys, including Chris Avellone. That... was awesome

I much rather the extra money goes just to more content (more maps, more quests) rather than some big new function (like a housing own system or tax system, or "buy up all Athkatla" or alignment changes and teammate conversions, or *pains* VO or *pains even more* side-activitities like playing golf or racing). So yeah, voted NO (I would only vote for a new companion if they are properly integrated into the storyline, unlike certain expansion characters or DLC characters *cough.* They would take FAR more time than designing a new area or quest. Although of course different people would work on both of them, so it really depends on the man-power and *what* manpower.)

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Hassat Hunter replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
I see no badge on Gorth. Anyway, if you hate datacrons too, support this; http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=700948 As for stories... ALL of them are disjointed between the acts... and are basically 3 small story plots. The Bounty Hunter act III (since I finished it recently; Double spoiler!- 505 replies

Update #66: Double Whammy
Hassat Hunter replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Also have to take into account the limitations. If the map was only rendered, all was fine. But with individual buildings in stages (rather than the whole map, then you would just load a new map) there will be a system needed to replace parts of the drawn screen for other parts. Having items closely interact then (like the houses) would require additional load. Not to mention pathfinding. A realistic setting like one of the pictures shown last page has been used in BG1 with the Naskal mines (remember?), but I assume that would make it really difficult to phase out parts of the map based on status of repair. (All under assumption it works that way, and it's not overpainted with a new placeable image of the upgrade or something)- 208 replies

I'm pretty sure pre-alpha wouldn't have had much optimilisation added to it's systems, so the results wouldn't exactly reflect the final game proper.

Hassat Hunter replied to argan's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Me, I just want to pledge more, and recall what I paid for again (I seriously have no clue anymore what additions I wanted, it's been so long) and what's available. -
They already have that if more is needed you get some artwork and text. That's about all we need I think. Would look far better than looking at a closeup of something made for an isometric system and thus never MEANT to be looked at close. Or you need to make them for looking close, and that's just a major waste of time and resources since you barely are ever close...

Update #68: ART!
Hassat Hunter replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Politicians. Cause they already do so with roads. "Hey, lets spend 1 billion to make people get 3 minute faster on their destination" "Sounds like a great idea!" EDIT: Above post appeared. Not to mention the music. Those BG tunes exploring the wilderness... just, so good. Hopefully PE gets similarly amazing tracks.- 240 replies

Seriously? What the hell?
Hassat Hunter replied to C2B's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
So, I've been to the dreaded BioWare forums of Swtor, filled with dread, hate and rage... And coming back to my trusted OE-boards, I see more flame, hatred, and mistrust than I saw there. It made me go all; "Seriously? What the hell?" -
The Stanley Parable. It's... very funny. Little annoying you can't skip dialogue if you get a convo repeatal though (and it was a long one). Will definitely boot up later again to see what other 'choices' I can make.

Tomorrow's patchnotes; Well, looks like it's coming back. Which is nice, since never had the opportunity to play it. Also, SPACE tomorrow... can't wait till school is over to get into the fray. When did you play? Since that should have been changed looooooong ago.- 505 replies

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VI (The Old Menace)
Hassat Hunter replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
Meh, I got artifice, don't bother with it. All my planetary comms go straight to buy those upgrades... and put them all on the GTN instead of wearing them My comp? Gets elite comm gear (what else to use for). Once he's done, I probably send some to 55 alts I rarely play with (leveling is more fun, so really only 1 endgame guy). I got one of those Bastila and Malgus statues LONG ago, when they worked as Spider said (so I figured it was a one-time purchase for all guys). Of course then they introduced collections, and made them bound on use, so I had to pay CC to use it on other characters. So I decided to sell them off instead (before I figured prices plummeted due to their lesser use). Probably should have kept them, worth a lot more now. But of course then I wouldn't have had those 700k back then. I can't bother with PVP either, but really looking forward to GS. Was expecting to drop in in januray (pref. players) but of course being sub with that promotion now allows me to start tomorrow with all the action. Also talking about Operations, my guild yesterday, after dying countless times, defeated the Dread Masters in Dread Palace SM. Now I've done all operations! Not at their hardest, but we probably never get there anyway (guild is rather casual, and I like that).- 505 replies

I send a mail to Warner Brothers support and they gave me an AA-code to use. Dunno, about the rest. Only other GfWL game I have is Bulletstorm... So I don't care that much (though it would suck if I can't play my disk-bought games anymore if an online service goes down... yay DRM, eh? :/)

My favorite has to be Directive 7. Another fav is Kaon under Siege, I like it's creepy mood. Just the 2 maps the entire community seems to hate though :/- 505 replies

ever played a game for nearly 3 years?
Hassat Hunter replied to omfgmegatron's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah, there are still people here. While I would suggest getting a PC copy, getting TSLRCM and restarting from scratch I will also help with your current situation . Items and powers can be a bit vague though, especially not knowing classes, what feats are taken, what power are taken. There could be many variations. Generally speaking though, she has a lot of resistances, so (aside from crush) melee would be your best bet. In the second phase if you really have trouble abuse the AI, get the sabers stuck and just cut in on her helplessly till the end. All is fair in war -

Not what you think if you hear some people talk about preferred status players. Also, using this opportunity to spam BioWare with whatever bug I find while playing. I love it! XD Probably the best thing about subbing, hehe. Also used the XP boostage. Together with zbyl2 entered Makeb at lvl 48, ended at lvl 54.- 505 replies
