  1. They do. The DS development is a mixpot though. DS1: GPG/MS DS1XP: Mad Doc/MS DS2: GPG/MS DS2XP: GPG/2K DS PSP game: GPG/2K DS3: Obsidian/Square Enix Change devs and producers much?
  2. While I don't notice slowdowns during most cutscene's, the "Gellato man" scene in Rome is really really choppy. That's the only one I notice that's far more demanding than normal, and I have no idea why...
  3. AP is actiony. Don't we have a thread about people who wished it was entirely stat-based instead of player-influenced. Result? Hack&Slash! Better not travel to Utrae I suppose, the Hassat want you dead now .
  4. While it may not be your favorite type of RPG, an hack&slash game still is an RPG. So it's not like they make a game from an entire different genre all of a sudden here...
  5. AP got that. So I was kind of fishing for the "better" part... cause I don't recall it being used for anything else whatsoever, which even AP does... Yeah, that's just bonus damage/recoil control/endurance though. You can get actual gadget upgrades (range, damage, capacity) in the shop... (I never recall the name of that place).
  6. @ Spydude: Try hard/recruit (as I did). Ouch. Not having Chain Shot nor Stealth might have something to do with that, but still, enemies HURT.
  7. Chain Shot = Dead boss. Really don't need more. Sometimes (due to the cutscenes) you need 2, but that's the max (well, with 5 crits at a time that is, maybe 3 with basic).
  8. There is another thread made about the exact same topic today. I repeat what I say there: It definitely looks like you should be able to enter through the window, but as mentioned you can't (likely a bug IMO). What objectives *did* you do? I think the ones most easily missed would be to clear the temple, pretty early on in that mission... maybe save the bridge? (It's not really helpful it just gives a number but no more is it?)
  9. Huh... us Europeans got none, since we got none of those branches AT ALL.
  10. Remind me again. Because ME2's AI was very simplistic (KILL KILL KILL!) and I don't recall physics being used for... well... ANYTHING. You can already buy upgrades for them in the shop.
  11. Maybe it also depends on wheter you are stealthy (dislike probably) or violent (yay!)?
  12. Never seen that. But that wouldn't explain the disrepency of reported income and actual income, which was the main topic (I get the impression (s)he didn't actually kept a counter on what was gained during the mission itself).
  13. Apparently GPG and OE and SE disagree with you...
  14. Read above post. There are actually 4 classes at first, one being the recruit (who starts out with no levels in anything).
  15. Actually, all 3 radial's do appear in the hotkey menu ingame.
  16. 1. More an issue with areas being locked off behind you than checkpoint saves (which are intended to prevent you from just quickly loading before a convo and changing your approach to something you prefer). That is definitely something that could be looked at for an x-pack/sequel. 2. Agreed. 3. Would be nice, but personally I wont pay for stuff like that. Black Isle's support was great (Heart of Winter anyone?) and NWN2's is so far too. KOTOR2 less but that's due to LA, as OE proposed a content patch. So I think we'll be fine for post-support...
  17. DS1 certainly had it's own distinct look. DS2 went more generic Tolkinesh though yes. So they should keep the art from DS1 (oh, and Hassat!). DS1's map was huge, but yeah, not worth more than 1 play. Although it's MP was amazing with a map even bigger than that, and somewhat less linear even. Had lots of fun there until hackers ruined it. That was such a shame .
  18. Well, I like both Dungeon Sieges (yes, sue me), so I wouldn't mind a third game. Although made by Obsidian, that surely is a strange choice. Although I guess it can't fail for me, liking DS and OE. (PS, devs... return the Hassat!!! )
  19. Yup, not based on AP at all. Think the Witcher, Divinity 2, Drakensang etc. Germany produces quite a few RPG's (and even if not, like Divinity, Germany gets the game before even the country is was made in, Belgium) and Adventures. Coincidence? I don't think so...
  20. Yeah, maybe the "review copy" was a very outdated beta?
  21. No, Hack just plainly killing foes doesn't seem to affect Mina (so I noticed my second playthrough). I think it's an issue with "gadget" damage (grenades) being always applied to the player, instead of who really threw such projectiles. Hence how some people can get 'kills' in the embassy amongst the marines/guards while others don't...
  22. Soooo... in which game does that matter a great deal?
  23. Maybe the Vista security center? From what I recall it likes nullifying changes in .ini files...
  24. I think Europeans in general like RPG's and Adventures more than our American counterparts...
