  1. Cap is at 35 only for that reason ( you can't have a 100% or more reduction). Note that only to prevent the "resolve stacking" they implemented the 35 cap for all attributes.
  2. Yes, when you start to have too many good effects you are not able to see the bad one anymore, sometime i have to go to char screen to read the list
  3. Nah it's i just rolled a paladin/wizard, I just wonder that poison will add some dark theme to your build. The point i wanna show is that +320% Powerlevel btw. how is it that high? how much % per PL does that spell get? The secret is alchemy Also silk robe and mask of grotto deep i suppose... Well done anyway 320% multiplier is a nice sight !
  4. In team they are both good. In solo monk>>barbarian because you have basically unlimited wounds vs limited barb resources. And whispers in the wind if you go single class.
  5. @dunehunter Ok is a nerf, but -30% can't move full attacks from "OP" to "suck a lot". Is weaker then before: yes. Suck a lot: you still do more dmg than full attacks with 2H or single handed. I agree that is a nerf stronger for non-rogue classes, but is not -75% dmg.
  6. Btw a chanter/pala with the blackened plate ( death in life) + swift wind of death + the crystal shield with regen + regen aura + ev branded enemy ( better if goldpact knight) ... Could literally grind everything... the most boring build i found yet, but it is unkillable thanks to limitless regeneration ( aura, shield, lay of hand in emergency) and -75% dmg reduction for uber DR (plate+aura+sworn enemy) + high defences
  7. Can confirm it worked on every item i tryed. You can enchant from the "other" ability of the branch and not get the first one removed
  8. - nerf to dual wielding: well done. Could be better but i like it ( as other said a full dmg roll for 2h or 1h could be better, but still...). Anyway nothing "major", if you are a rouge you will never actually feel it. - new spells: they had to add backers spell at some point. I like them from reading the descripion, thumbs up to the authors. - new equips/weapon: brillace mantle could be the most promising one. Basically useful for solo play, in particular to martial classes ( finally a way to get back some resources in longer fights).i like much also the badass axe, in particular the requirement of 25 str. Nive touch. -ui enanchments: good. Atm is still possible to enchant an itme with 2 property of the same branch, obviuosly a bug Overall great improvements.
  9. Huge thump up for the summary! I Have to admit that i always wondered in poe1 to be able to choose a second racial bonus for the godlike depending to the "body" chosen. Could actually be an interesting idea: every godlike have a base racial ability + one another from the other races, depending upon the body choosen. Your suggestion to give everyone a racial dependent from race OR class/attribute is surely interesting, but a bit too much complex for my taste ( i play mostly barbarians, forgive me)
  10. Build name: the jumping fortress About animal companion: surely an extra body is nice, but if you solo it will end up dying pretty soon ( even if bear is actually pretty thoug). Nice new is that as a ranger you should have enogh bond to revive him more than once in every fight, but still... In a party i agree ranger could be superior, soloing i'd like fighter version more
  11. Imho still a unbroken does a better job as pal multiclass... +1 ar if using a shield, + 4 def for superior deflection, +5/10 to accuracy, +5/10 to defl for conqueror stance ( or ~20 dmg res for defensive stance), refreshing drfence easily mantaniable for the whole fight.
  12. You can even multiclass pala with a stalker (+1ar, +5 def) or a unbroken (+1 ar when using a shield). As a pala go for hands of light ( +5 resolve, the +2 ar from hardy are suppressed by the next thing) and for a goldpact subclass for the +5(?) Ar from modified sworn enemy.
  13. Afaik spirit shield and hardy doesn't stack. For max Ar good things are patinated plate, passive from stalker or unbroken subclasses, gilded enmity ( pala subclass), iron skin among others... Just check what actually stacks and what not, usually ar bonus from items and passives stacks, everything active not.
  14. I would love more morning stars and halberds... Were pretty meh in poe1 and quite good but scarce in number in poe2. And something specialized to hant to hand combat. Give me back my raw lash gloves from poe1! Or the awesome gautlet of crushing from good old bg2...
  15. Really? I was sure it added +10 accuracy for every attack made at the marked enemy. It is only for ranger and pet? Paladin's Coordinated Attacks work like this. Except it's passive so pala needs to be attacking selected target. ??? Paladins doesn't have coordinated attack in poe2 afaik
  16. Really? I was sure it added +10 accuracy for every attack made at the marked enemy. It is only for ranger and pet? Thinking better i haven't used a ranger in a party since the beta, so maybe something was changed at some point. Sorry to gave the wrong information. For soul ignition: total dmg actually benefits from higher int, a lowe int lowers the dmg. No disintegration-like shananigans sadly.
  17. @ Boeroer: yes, chiper/ranger is one of my fav class combination. Like you said you get awesome and cheap accuracy boosts. Anoter "feature" is that , as a ranger, you will *always* have a "allied target" around. For solo is very useful, since you can actually use soul shock, amplified wave, ecc Disintegrate is already so powerful that i wouldn't even try testing, or at least do that in secret or a mega nerf will come :D @Teclis23 : yes
  18. On the other side marked pray works for everyone in the team and can't be resisted... Is much better vs boss for example. And the upgraded version apply for free to another enemy when you get the kill, so is pretty spammable also in normal encounters.
  19. You can bind *Any* key with *any* ability, just hover the mouse over tge ability/skill and press the key. CAVEAT: the key have to be "free" ( not used for other functions by the game. Es: if you binded "a" for attack or "i" to inventory ( default in the game, you can't use "a" nor "i" as a shortcut for abilities. As standard "q"should be free) So before do this, is a good idea to go tue the control panel and remove most of unused keys to "free them"
  20. If silver tide and battleforged start to scale properly i think we will be ok. That said: A proper working silver tide will be well worth the standard "double racial", anyway i'll don't mind to get another minor racial eventually. For stay in ondra/defensive theme it could be something like "moon blessed" :5% chance to resist a spell or 5% chance to resist a melee attack ( like a minor lucky talent). About human racial: i actually like it much more now as in poe1. In poe1 it was 1 per encounter AND even related to int, so a low int human was really a bad choice. Now you get a buff without duration and can trigger multile time in the same combat. High five to devs for this! About nature godlike: now you only get +1 pw level if you have a body inspitation, it feels a bit left "behind". Since it is galawain themed, i would like to get also a modern version of the poe1 racial: +2 to might, con, dex if you have a body inspiration. Or even better: - body inspiration : +2 to mig, dex, con - mind inspiration : +1 pwr lvl The simpler the changes, the better
  21. You should also be able to "evade" it going out of range ( after they start to cast the spell) . Boots that grants leap or flagellant path are your friends
