Arbalests, Crossbows, and most importantly, Wands, severely need some love (like, at least two more each). Stilettos, Spears, Pollaxes, Pikes, Morning Stars, Hunting Bows, and Clubs could use at least one more as well. Of course, don't add additional items unless they're interesting. I'm just going to assume that the reason these got underrepresented was because most people don't/didn't use them, which may have showed in the telemetry.

Yes, but when used in conjunction with ranger abilities (Mark is an attack, so buffs stack with it) you have a higher net accuracy. Equipment/Pets/Resting Bonuses simply adds on to that. Not saying Rogue/Cipher isn't viable, in fact they are very comparable (with one exception*). In general, Rogue = More Damage, Less Accuracy and Ranger = Less Damage, More Accuracy. *Blunderbuss (Powder Burns) + Streetfighter has fantastic focus generation + AOE damage- probably one of the best builds in the game. Side note to the side note: also not sure if Soul Annihilation still works with Powder Burns or not.

As noted above, they aren't as visibly powerful any more because other casters have spells/encounter. Unlimited resources only comes into play when you have a very long battle. However, they have access to resource-inexpensive Charm/Dominate early on, which is arguably the best CC in the game. They also can reliably apply most afflictions to enemies and most inspirations to allies (Ancestor's Memory FTW). Many of their damaging abilities deal Raw damage, so they can bypass AR so long as you hit (so long as you have high perception). Ciphers are still my favorite class. The only thing I don't like is that a lot of the buffs can't be self-cast (but that was also the case in POE1).

Can't a Ranger/Rogue ultimately do more due to Driving Flight? If that rogue is a Streetfighter with a blunderbuss Powder Burns has an AOE in a radius which can hit more enemies than Driving Flight (IIRC, it bounces once) Ranger/Streetfighter each projectile would bounce and you would have AOE through Powder Burns. Not sure how that compares to Devoted, which I believe would crit less, but for more damage.

So far, it only makes It slightly more interesting. I was able to get a Blunting Belt off of Governor Clario.

Still increases the duration, which one could argue is the more important thing, especially for Nalpazca. (More wound generation)

Alchemy now only affects the PL of potions, drugs, and poisons. So, perfect for Nalpazca. Before, due to a bug with the "poison" keyword, it used to also affect any spells or abilities with the "poison" keyword. It doesn't any more. Edit: Ninja'd

I don't think the percentage of damage regenerated (25%) is changed by anything except for the Unbending Trunk (33%) upgrade. The thing that would scale would be duration. (PL, Int, etc) I might be wrong- but typically if it doesn't have a tooltip showing the scaling, it doesn't seem to scale. And the percentage of damage regenerated doesn't have a tooltip.

Yeah, it's just morbid curiosity. In general when I want to be sneaky or pickpocket stuff, pump points into Stealth and Sleight of Hand. My curiosity just wants to know the "how". I've noticed that stealth doesn't seem to reduce the enemies/npc's sight "cone", but when they are stationary vs walking around it changes. My guess is that it's stealth vs perception as some enemies can see you quicker than others. And the thing that actually changes is the stealth "timer".

I've got a pretty good understanding of how most of the skills work regarding mechanics on consumables. But I'm not 100% sure how Stealth and Sleight of Hand work in depth mechanically. So, We all know that when you increase your stealth, it makes you harder to detect (harder to see in the vision cone, harder to hear in the sound circle). I'm curious as to what exactly dictates this. Is it distance? is it an extended stealth "timer"? is it both? When you put a point in stealth, does it decrease the distance in which enemies notice you? or does it just slow the stealth "timer"? and most importantly by how much per point? Some enemies notice you quicker than others. Is our stealth compared against enemy/npc perception? Power level? Now for Sleight of Hand, it seems that so long as you are actively in stealth, you can view what's in the enemy's inventory regardless of your Sleight of Hand skill. Similarly, it seems you can put explosives in their pockets regardless of your Sleight of Hand skill. However, if they have a shiny item you want to steal, depending on your sleight of hand skill, you may not be able to steal it. Is this based off of the enemy/npc's perception or power level? or is it based off of the value of the item your trying to lift?

So it only becomes top-tier DPS melee with an AoE weapon? Hmm, so I guess Ranger/Rogue is still king of ranged DPS then? Not at all. They still do great single-target DPS. It's just that Soul Annihilation's scaling raw damage (with higher focus) can be applied with melee AOE weapons. You can get in some situations where you just melt through mobs.
