Having recently finished PoE1 with WM, I've been thinking about an interesting build for a Deadfire playthrough. The plan, from the beginning, was to empower Woedica and play as Steel Garrote paladin in Deadfire. I always knew I'd multiclass as well, but I wasn't sure which class/subclass to pick - but since Zahua was in my party I started thinking about making it Nalpazca, both because I was his friend and also because the drugs ultimately helped my character deal with the experiences of the past. So that's the RP story, but I thought I'd ask your help in making it an actual functioning build (with PotD in mind, but not solo). So far I'm thinking of something like this: 1. Weapons - Estoc & Arquebus, but that's more of a style choice, as that's what my character used in PoE1. 2. The plan - Primarily a damage dealer than can function as a secondary tank if need be. 3. Potential Synergy - It would seem that Monk tree has a lot of abilities that increase attack speed (which would in turn increase the healing from Steel Garrote passive - other characters in the party will provide afflictions). Both Monk and Paladin have a lot of durability abilities and talens, so that seems like a secondary consideration. But that's pretty skin dip, I'm sure there's something more interesting to construct here, but I lack the knowledge about Deadfire to make it, unfortunately. 4. Attributes - no idea here either. Looks like Intelligence for longer Garrote and Perception for high accuracy would be handy, though. Any and all pointers would be much appreciated
Hey y'all, the past few days I've been searching the forums but am yet to find what I am looking for, so I'd be thankful if someone with the proper knowledge could help me out. My predicament is the following: 1) I want to play pukestabber. Period. 2) I want the build to be lightning fast at killing stuff, high risk high reward. 3) I didn't play since release basically so I have no clue if Teesinz Mirke build on youtube is still up to the task. Also, I don't like the monk-class very much. I find them to be gimmicky and immersion breaking (like in the old BG days), especially for an always drunk pirate type of character. 4) Don't care if single or multi class build Thanks a dozen in advance for any kind of help
To find out that Shattered Pillar Monk is utter trash now. Went from super OP to (for me) unplayable. I played the game the first two weeks it came out a lot have changed since then... Time to reroll i guess. I got one question im planning to do either a Nalpazca paladin multiclass or a Helwalker Paladin multiclass. I prefered nalpazca because of the insane stat/accuracy/crit bonuses from pots and drugs. But im not sure when i read the patch nodes from 1.2 what those mean: "Alchemy Skill no longer affects "Poison" keyworded spells and abilities. (It still affects applied poison consumables)" From reports in the forum i read that Alchemy does not work anymore on increasing the stats that potion and drugs provide is that correct? In that case there is only one good monk subclass left and my decision is clear. I just want to be safe about how alchemy skill works in 1.2 - can anybody tell me maybe?
Wander around in an alcohol and drug fueled stupor lulling your enemies into surrounding you then suddenly explode into motion. Dashes around smashing the enemy and stacks debuffs and start with the deathblows at as close to 0 recovery and attack as possible. Citation: This was inspired by Sin Tee’s Mirke build.
