In X-Men 2, when the SWAT team invades the mansion, there is a guy with face paint, I think he's the head SWAT dude, he is standing alone in a hallway while the team silently takes position behind him. Then(I think) he sees the "electroboy" and shoots him in the neck. He's done other movies but I don't know his name. Everytime I see that guy in that scene, in my head I go SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

Funny. For a "No CD" file, the word "patch" is rarely used... " I do the same thing by the way. It also saves some performance since the computer doesn't need to start spinning up the disk drive every few minutes and this also avoids lag in some cases.

Well, you guys are lucky and you learned from your mistakes. I did too but I'm still struggling out of that 6 year period. I'm not making enough money, barely getting by. On the good side though I managed, with more sacrifices, to get rid of all those debts I accumulated during the PH years AND I'm getting married this weekend. Yippee! :D So I'd go back in time and change that(the Pizza Hut thing, not the marriage...). I would also stay in Indonesia longer(lived there 6 months a while back) and I would sleep with that girl I went to California with instead of going on that stupid Star Trek pilgrimage.

It's not working there that I regret. It's working there for 6 years, full time, with all the sacrifices that it involves. Sacrifices that were ultimately in vain since I am now old and stupid. I guess I was back then too.

That reminds me of a short story I once read. There was this fleet of aliens that went from planet to planet conquering and whatnot. The twist was that besides intergalactic transport their technology was roughly equivalent to that of the Conquistadors. The story ends when they invade modern day Earth and get shot to ribbons by soldiers with assault rifles. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That sounds like fun. I read those Harry Turtledove books about lizards invading with tech about our level now, attacking us during WW2. They have a stable and slow civilisation, and they really don't know how to cope with either human aggression or our capacity to embrace change. We capture and learn their tech and ...the ending is unexpected. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We mate with them? Or they show Bioware the secrets of time travel?
