  1. Hello rocm33, Welcome to the forums! Please make sure that you have enough space on your hard drive. If its full, it cannot generate any save files. Also try deleting your save folder and see launch the game and see if that works. Cheers!
  2. Hello Valasty, In order to progress on Durance's quest, you will have to have him in your party and camp in the wilderness. You will have a vision about Durance's staff which will then prompt more dialogue with him. After loading your save, it took me 4 camp attempts to finally get the vision. So it looks like just need to get some more camping done Let me know if that is the case. Thank you for your support!

  5. Hello Seven7221, Unfortunately you will have to resort to going back to your older save. We have fixed the issue and it will be in the next 3.0 patch. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  6. Hello lordkim, There are only 3 speeds in the game, Slow, Normal, and Fast. If you would like to see more speed options, we are more than happy to take any feedback or suggestions. Thank you for your support.

  9. Hey bufossil, Thanks for getting those files to me, those are the correct files. I loaded up your save and has no issues at all. I did see a lot of issue in your output log. Could you please tell me what exactly the issue is? Also when you uninstalled the game, did you delete the Pillars of Eternity Folder in the Steam directory before reinstalling? When upgrading to Windows 10, were you coming from a 32bit OS and upgrading to 64bit?

  11. Hello MuffinTop, Thanks for uploading you save. I loaded up your save and after reading all the notes, I was able to interact with the door and get to Concelhaut. Please make sure you read all notes from all 4 of the apprentices. Pelden, Tanoss, Sabel, and Uariki. Thank you for your support!
  12. I think we reduce the vfx particles because it was getting a little crazy with all the other stuff going on in the game to help out on performance.

Please verify your game cache in steam and see if that fixes it for you. Steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Thanks!
  15. Hey DiKayOs, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! At any point did you use the console command cheat NoFog? If you are in a town, such as Gilded Vale, Defiance Bay, or Twin Elms, this is automatically revealed for you. If that is not the case and you are playing from Steam, please verify your game files. In your Steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Could you please upload a save file and an output log via dropbox if that didn't work? Thanks a bunch!

  17. Hey everyone, Just to update you on the issue. Every character can place a trap down, there is a bug right now where if you place a trap within 3 meters of another companions trap, it will cause the first trap to disappear. Hope that clears up the issue for you all.

  20. Hey guys, We did have a bug where the companion AI would just run off and attack things off screen, but we have since then fixed that issue on our side. So most likely this is a related issue.

  23. Hey pasgrave, Welcome to the forums! While we have never tested the game on the Surface Book, you can still gain access to the system specs and an output log. You can find those files by clicking on the link in my signature. If it is an issue with Unity 4 games, then there is nothing we can do to fix that. However, if you go Power Options in the Control Panel, you can set the preferred plan to High Performance and that should set your Surface Book to the higher GPU.   24. I spoke with Josh and turns out that is the case. Traps are suppose to do a lot of damage as your party will just heal right afterwards. They are meant to be scary.
