  1. John Boehner's perspective
  2. Yeah, all I was trying to say is that because of my shopping habits Steam has cut themselves out of the loop. I already don't by games for myself directly through them but I still bought gifts for others through their store and now that is no more.
  3. From the article I linked the other day
  4. I'm including them as a key reseller, I didn't mean just the sketchy ones. But the result is the same with the sale still not going directly to Steam
  5. I used to buy games on sale and gift them out to friends and family now I have to buy from key resellers to be able to gift whenever I want to whoever I want Oh well
  6. Can you not store games as gifts anymore? When and did this happen? And why?
  7. Was going to see how many of my characters still had their names after the server merges but apparently they are still down
  8. He admitted it I have no idea what he was trying to do. He just put his Rav4 in reverse at a light and started backing up. I started honking as soon as he started moving but he didn't stop until he made contact. Damage is minor but I dunno what it's going to cost to make it look pretty again yet
  9. A car backed into me at a red light on the way home So now I get to deal with that
  10. It's even easier to have 1 monitor for each game. Then you don't even have to alt-tab between apps. That's probably the main reason for me. I don't lose anything by keeping it running and it's already ready already when I want to get back to it. ;P
  11. And licences and IDs are controlled and issued by the individual states. So there can be some variance there.
  12. Problem is there is a much stricter screening process for that. Then they throw it away and the doctor uses his own sample instead.
  13. I tend to leave my stuff running too. I'll turn it off when going to work or to bed or something that I know I'll be gone for several hours but if I'm going to the store or making dinner or something that's not super long then I just leave it on
  14. I thought this was decent 7 takeaways from election day
  15. I'm convinced we need another name for gun control as the current term has too many negative connotations, just like triggered. It needs to sound positive.
  16. It's KOTOR3 with vampires set in a post apocalyptic wasteland where you play a spy named Mike Thor(n)ton
  17. FO4 was streamlined with some simplified mechanics and that's not necessarily bad though depending on what you're looking for. It may turn some of the older audience off but it also brings in a lot of new blood. Anecdotally, more than a couple of my friends who like shooters but don't play many RPGs loved the game.
  18. The Dems had a good night but I'm afraid it may lead them to be too arrogant and complacent for the midterms. Already seeing some articles to that effect.
  19. Don't you guys have a green roof program in Chicago? Ours was a David vs Goliath type situation where the opposition raised 12 times as much money to try to defeat it. We also passed a near billion dollar investment package for Denver.
  20. Our green roof ordinance passed
  21. I had the opposite problem, I just never stopped working. I worked from home full time which meant that I lived at work. But I am an addict of that tasty, tasty workahol
  22. I couldn't even tell you what 10,000 BC was about. A hero's journey?
  23. Haven't shared this in a while
