I don't disagree with the criticism. It was a slog for me to get through the first and only full run I did. That said, I came back and gave it another shot when each half of the White March dropped and I enjoyed those considerably more than the base game. And if I'm being completely honest, I cheated through most of the combat anyway because I didn't really enjoy it.

I thought the White March was the best part of PoE

Eh, flat tax doesn't work well on the low end. Especially if you set the threshold so low that 500 bucks a month is taxed. 75 bucks a month is going to hurt that person much more than 1250 is going to hurt me. It's the difference between fair and equitable. PS our estate tax law is not what everyone keeps arguing. Ben's proposal is nowhere near the actuality as it starts at near 11 million not 1 and the rate is 40% not 85. I get that it's easier to argue against the lower number so I'll stop adding the actual law that they are trying to get rid of.
