Most certainly not pickier. Where capitalization mattered in PoE I is whenever you were putting in Player_XXX from findcharacter command and that is the same for PoE II. Certainly didn't see other cases. Not yet anyway. So, i have tried and it seems to work but regular abilities seem to overlap with subclass ones. I tried to give trickster subclass to eder and after the level up he ended up having both Version of sneak attack. I reloaded, manually removed sneak attack before giving him a subclass again and leveld him up, and all seems good now That's the spirit! The base abilities are replaced in some cases, and obviously so. Yours is a fine example, another would be Frenzy and Frenzy(Berserker) - two different abilities where you need to remove the ordinary one - luckily its name for console is "Frenzy".

For changing classes and subclasses, my dudes: setclasslevel Player_Eder Monk 1 True - Edér is now a lvl 1 Monk //True removes all other classes setclasslevel Player_Eder Barbarian 1 False - Edér is now a lvl 1 Monk/Barbarian //false keeps all else //Replace Player_Eder with whatever findcharacter eder returns //You can technically make a barbarian/fighter/monk/paladin+ this way buuut I don't recommend it setsubclass Player_Eder Monk Monk_Helwalker setsubclass Player_Eder Barbarian Barbarian_Berserker or stay true to the game in some way and just make him an Unbroken or Fighter/Streetfighter. You can even add NPC-only subclassess. Wordier titles are separated by an underscore Paladin_Frermas_mes_Canc_Suolias. Level him up by one to gain level 0 talents/abilities at level 2. For your charname, just use opencharactercreation - be aware it will remove things like Berath's Blessing and your equipment. On that account, does anyone know Berath's Blessing's name for console purposes? addability removeability at will, if something stays where it shouldn't.

Spent close to 10 hours fiddling with multi-classes. In the end narrowed it down to Paladin/Cipher, Barbarian/Cipher, pure Wizard, Evoker, or Illusionist and any two of Barbarian/Monk/Paladin/Fighter. Went with Beguiler/Rogue pistol dual-wield. Still not sure about my choice. Would never multi-class a wizard, that's for sure. Would never single-class a chanter. Still bearing a stigma for Hunters and Druids from PoE where I never had the need to have them in party, never even batted an eye in their general direction in PoE II. Would probably never go with single class priest either? I don't see how their power level makes their spells more useful apart from the damaging ones. On PotD there's only room for buffs and protections. Berserker/Monk really tickled me the right way. Raw damage from Frenzy adds wounds to monk, you get extra 25%+20% attack speed from flurry and frenzy...Aaand your Carnage hits all. :/

Valian Dialect

Rogue/Ranger has to be a viable multi-class option, I think. I remember the first start of PoE I and choosing a Ranger, I restarted in Defiance Bay and chose a Rogue instead (back when IEmod didn't exist). I never had Sagani in party outside of completing her quest (and only her quest). However, I'm looking forward to seeing how Maia Rua fares. I never played without Kana and for him I have to do this.

This, and his +10 friendly AoE accuracy bonus on Holy Radiance was a beast which more than made up for his Per weakness. He was a pretty integral part of my party at all times. On anything but PotD you can just skip priest all together. On PotD though? Sign me up with überbuff Durance. Perception and Dexterity are not needed - just intellect for area/duration. The Deadfire Xoti's stats look better because there's what - 4 extra points across the board compared to Durance's?

I think I've never casted Slicken yet in my two playthroughs. Granted, I never kept Aloth for long. I'm just using buffs, auto-attacks, healing, and some CC here and there for funsies. Playing on Hard.

2.02 Patching error?
Queeg replied to wanderon's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
So I just started a new game with the addon, got there and was welcomed by this: Anyone knows why? Bad installation (no prompts of something going wrong)? Any solution? Everything else works well. Graphic card drivers up to date. It's not IEmod. -
Console commands not working
Queeg replied to NoQuitt's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Well, guess I'm uninstalling again and not applying 1.03 then. Will rock the world with guns and Sure Handed Ila, and experiment with console commands freely. -
Boots of speed and archers gloves bug
Queeg replied to Space's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
it's not the guantlets of accuracy, it's the archer guantlets. not sure how you misread that?? they have no magic aura to them, fwiw. they only work if you continually re-equip them after every load or screen transition. Can confirm Archer's Gloves bug. The 1.2x dmg bonus disappears after every load and they have to be re-equipped. -
Console commands not working

Same problem I have, after updating to 1.03 console commands can't be confirmed by Enter.
