That's the trade-off, mate... Oh I don't care for helmet . But some peoples do . There shouldn't be a trade off , since no other specie have that . If every specie had something like that..maybe ..but there isn't . Godlike have stronger racial abilities than the other races. Thus they have a "no helmet" trade off. One has a passive heal, one gets a flame shield and burn armor, one gets a potentially permanent +1 power level, and then there is the Death Godlike with all that crazy stuff they get. The other races get much more mundane bonuses, and that is balanced by a bonus from helmets. I remember using IEmod in PoE I and temporarily allowing Pallegina to equip helmets - gave her an Eyepatch, cycled out for a Lavender Wreath later. It perfectly fit her Godlike head. Full helmets are no-go but a circlet, patch, etc. are good in my book. She looked fancy and none were the wiser. If a mod allows godlikes to use helmets, I might go the same path as long as it fits the head - a big no for death godlikes most likely - no eyes, all horns.

Torment: Tides of Numenera fits your query just about perfectly. But that game is complete garbage, don't compare it to POE. that game was good... The only two things I didn't like , was the ending and how it was compared to Planescape Torment . It was a nice try , but it sure like hell...was nowhere to Planescape Torment Level story wise . Agreed, take away the fact that it tried to be a Torment successor and you have a good (not great, but good nonetheless) game with strong potential that just didn't transfer 100% of its potential to the actual game. When you look at it in a vacuum, no ties to Torment, it's fine by me.

Is Eora an Ocean Planet?
Queeg replied to Yenkaz's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I'm confident Eora looks like a toroid and that's why we have north and south already explored but there's still countless possibilities to the west and the east. Also between white that wends and living lands, that's the forbidden zone in the inner ring noone dared to map yet. Obviously, as it's tilted at exactly 0 degrees from its sun and the inner ring never gets any sunlight whatsoever. Talk about mapping that nightmare pitch-black cold-AF part of your planet. also /s, I have no idea -
Caed Nua blade
Queeg replied to Queeg's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Hey there, a follow up, the beta patch 1.1 makes it hit the target once now. So it's just a two-hander with the damage attributed to 1-handers. More often than not it hits 1 target because the cone is not really that big to hit two foes unless you are a sole tank/frontline. And it hits your own guys too, if you are not (where the lower damage is a boon, I guess). I'm no longer a fan of WotEP after trying it out in game. I don't think I'm into any 2-handers at this point on PotD. -
+15% buff duration is the bread and butter, an equivalent of +3 INT. You can't go with Caroc unless you want to lose great options in game. The rest of the effigies are poop. Also your list is confusing because it omits certain conditions for those numbers. +2 Acc is only for >4m targets on Sagani. Maneha only gives +5 Might affliction defense, not all. Kana is a different defense - can't remember which one now, Aloth is +5 Intellect affliction defense, Grieving is +5 Resolve affliction defense. Hiravias +1 slash AR, Pallegina +1 shock AR

Detecting Traps
Queeg replied to AlphaShard's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Yep, my main Trickster/Beguiler has 20 PER unbuffed and I'm getting auto-pauses without seeing where they came from. It in fact sucks a great deal. I have to actually search for an already uncovered secret stash. Was it to the north? Was it on my right? Damn it, if I knew. -
Let me preface this by saying I haven't rolled 20s. I recruited all 7 companions in my playthrough (with extra sidekick, too - though that doesn't matter, they have their own achievement). Nothing popped up. I re-validated the Deadfire data and replayed the recruiting. Nothing. Tried again and again with the same outcome - no Berath points. I then freaking restarted the game from scratch and did a speedrun to get all companions. The achievement didn't pop either. What gives? Does anyone else have this problem? Or even a workaround?

iroll20s Findcharacter Eder setclasslevel *input whatever findcharacter returned* Fighter 1 True //Edér is now a lv1 fighter setclasslevel *input whatever findcharacter returned* Rogue 1 False //Edér is now a level 1 Fighter/Rogue setsubclass *input whatever findcharacter returned* Fighter Fighter_Unbroken //Edér is now an Unbroken/Rogue Know that respeccing at vendors might break some things like erasing level 0 skills and talents. Know that setclasslevel changes class, it doesn't remove abilities tied to erased class - you'll need to removeability *input whatever findcharacter returned* ability_name Know that you'll gain subclass talents at level up. or a mod
