I tell ya, these side quests for the companions, not exactly a winding tale of character development are they? Eder Town 1 - I need to find my brother, answer these questions in my head Town2 - Oh, a piece of metal, ommmm....'nope, I got nothin' /endquest Aloth Town1 - Hey whats going on? Need a mage an stuff? Town2- You're bat**** crazy /edquest Sagani's at least takes you on a few trips through the countryside. Sagani: Hey Im looking for my tribe's most respected leader You: How long have you been searching Sagani: Just a little over 5 years now You: dafaq?! *2 Maps over* You: There he is.

If aloths quests 'completes' with that trip to the sanitarium, I got exp for that

Its a pretty standard tank n spank, except when she decides to fly into the air and then land directly behind your party. Basically tank goes in first (after buffs) and watch the heals, theres no special move to watch for or anything like that. I killed it to fill my bestiary, and also cause she had a bit of an attitude which I didnt appreciate. -
Pretty much Act 3 has the same feel as this quest - foreign, seperated from the rest of the game. Transition from 1 to 2 was flawless, you would think 2 to 3 would go the same but you're essentially kicked out of DB and directed to TE, but when you get there its like a whole new story - These guys arent affected by WL, they hate all but their own...definitely a bit disorientating. And like others said, you just kinda walk in there and everyone's all 'Oh no Sul and Oneros, we need to make a decision, man!' I just walked in the zone - wtf are you talking about? The only reason I picked Sul (and continue to) is cause I see lions everywhere before making it to her lair.

Completed a 3rd run last night, while I like a little randomization now and then - you kind of also want to know where to go for choice weapons for a toon you're building. For example, I've found all of those gloves in the OP and I've found none of them in the next run and in another run I found 4 boots of speed, and/or nothing else class related in terms of weapons, gear. -

No, the game never makes this clear, but you can only do the initial quest for each. Any quest done for a faction at that point locks you in with them -

same, the flashbacks you keep getting didnt make a lick of sense to me until I met Ioratha or whatever. I could see into souls so I just thought whatever I just glimpsed had something to do with a death / battle that occured right where I saw it happen. It was even more disappointing when it turned out to be all the same guy - and a serious jerk at that -

he said, from the Spolier forums. OP you got the jist of it, the reason Thoas is helping Woedica is cause he's her minion on earth, to get done what she cannot. Also because she is the goddess of (unchanging or whatever) she likes the status quo and wants things to be just as they are/were. Woedica tried this once before and got dealt with by the other gods, therefore she uses Thaos as her avatar for dealings and keeping the status quo, so to speak. People worhsipping these creations as true Gods - animancy threatens this existense if it continues to develop and grow -

huh there was a quests down there - like someone already said, I murdered the whole place and *then* started unlocking the forges If there was some message being conveyed down there I totally missed it -
My keep even has a *chapel* I could send her straight to if she wanted. I was really hoping that would be an option! especially since you had that kind of option with the ogre on the map below Interesting options, but as I dont like GM/Ciphers, and I wasnt about to let Wymun get away with doing that to the girl- I had to snap her neck Also, killing the Lord, while it may get you overwhelming rep in Dyrford, you also lose moderate rep in DB Lastly, as bad as an act he might have done, it still didnt warrant murder

damn, thing is, The Dozens are crass and kind of ****heads but you get access to Lhe much much earlier and you get to kill those punks who were talking smack to you when you 1st entered the Adventurer's Hall Thing is, I dont remember getting Cloudpiercer inside LaR when I did side with them - is this confirmed? -

I enjoy the dungeons for the most part as well, but those traps, some of them are either bugged or too high, I can understand level 9-10 traps in act 3, but I have 7 maybe 8 mechanics in act 2 and the right side of the pathway to Helim (the thing in the catacombs part of the necklace quest) are two traps I can never disarm, level 9 mechanics and cant disarm the trap next to Sul's lair -

That entire dungeon is showing you the process from human to animat, each room breaks down the process...I think he just there to show you what they do with the souls once harvested -

Mage spells require them to get WAY too close to the frontlines to cast them, I like all my people to level at the same time Wha tI do for new games is run right thru that starter location, collectiing everything as I go but engaging no enemies, get to town sell everything (anyone know how much that Engwithian gem is worth? I use it to get the cloak, which is worth 300 alone) Usually I have juuuuust enough to buy 5 companions. Then the adventure begins -

Would love to see this game use more of the NWN2 mechanic of rebuilding the Keep. I keep that game in my Library *just* because of that feature - was awesome. Someone said the Fort now feels too mobile app-like with the notifications/events...I have to agree. I like the idea and I would like to see it improved upon, there's certainly a lot of room for it -
Ranger should get an overhaul

Bear is your best chance at having the pet survive any encounter, couple with a priest behind the font lines with sacred ground running...dont see the problem I like ranger because I dont have to pause the game every 5 seconds for him in combat, with that said if they're going to be the 'fire and forget' class, should maybe increase their fire rate -
