Although noone stopped the murderer, there were a few heroes; Marcel Gleffe, a german ex-military who currently works as a roofer in Norway, was camping out on the mainland side when he heard the shooting. He drove out with his boat and brought a few dozen kids to the other shore, dodging bullets in the process. J.

True. This undercover cop hurled his 11 yr old son to safety behind some tents, and charged the killer, only to be shot a few feet before he rammed into him. There were a couple of other grown ups, mostly old women. They didn't stand a chance. Most of these people were bbq'ing and having a few beers on a friday night. When some 6'2" tall psycho hits the camp with smoke grenades and a machinegun, the kids naturally scatter and flee in all directions. The police response-time has been (or at least, will be) debated. One friggin' helicopter pilot in Oslo, and he was on summer-vacation! That's the norwegian police for you. I never liked the chief of police we've had for the last years, but I don't think the new one is gonna do any better. They're basically just politicans. The Minister of Justice and the Police isn't doing a very good job either. The whole thing reeks of bureaucracy, complacency and sluggishness. J.

That. The latest interviews with his childhood-friends seem to indicate that he was a bit of a loner. Distant parents, a father he hadn't seen since the nineties. Bragging about girlfriends noone ever saw etc. Steroids, plastic surgery. Alone all the way, makes it harder and harder to get back to society. And eventually he ends up living in a bubble where he starts hatching his plans of death and destruction. Tragic, and impossible to detect unless you're a relative or close friend. J.

I've started to disagree a bit with Labour's liberal immigration policy myself lately, but I suspect they're going to reap a windfall of sympathy votes this time. Now journalists are BBQ'ing Siv Jensen, leader of the right wing populist party FrP. The gunner used to be a party-member, supposedly.

It's a pretty grim scene here now. They closed off most of centrum. Everything is closed, blue flashing lights from police cars everywhere. Ghost town. At least the subway got me home w/o blowing up. We should hold on a little before we pin this on the muslims. The suspect they're interrogating atm is an ethnic norwegian right-wing extremist and freemason. J.

Insidious. At the theatre. Had my eyes half closed most of the time. Didn't fall asleep until 4 am. I swear I could see old ghoul ladies in wedding dresses in dark corners, all night. Scary stuffs.. = J.

Aw-sum finale.. at least for one who hasn't read the books. Filming for season 2 begins in july. No more fun until q1 2012 then.. (?). Ugh.. J.

Yup.. cutting (literally) Sean Bean was a disappointment. Maybe they couldn't afford him anymore. It'll quickly turn into crap if they just fill it up with geeks and pr0n-actresses.. J. It follows the story of the books, hence Sean Bean getting chopped. Well pff.. let the good actors play the surviving characters then.. J.

We're over there to avenge teachers ? Hm, different propaganda here. Yups.. US spent 1,5 trill to teach those guys a lesson. Gotto show'em how to raise their teenage girls. In the US teenage girls star in spring break college-f**-fest movies. That's how you raise'em. Ye? J.

The BG consol games have nothing to do with the great BG/IWD Infinity series. They have next to nothing in common(!) What do they have in common? There is no party you can control. No creating your own character. No rpg to speak of, hell - it's just thumb-numbing grinding. No strategy-combat, no pause and think what to do next. No battling it out with an intelligent selection of spells which counter and/or break down your enemy's defences. BG:DA is just your ultra-average dumbed down mediocre monster-mashing consol-nonsense. And it's not even a good monster-mashing game. So stop being silly ppl. End of discussion. J.

Just saw the first 4 episodes. The beginning was promising. The last episode was kinda geekish, a bit David Gaider Dragon Age novel'ish. Fairytale RPG-light ****. They should get real writers - not RPGers - to write the script. J.

The worlds most wanted man/ghost for a decade, killed and dumped in the ocean in a day. A bit anticlimactic? J.

Tried DA2 for PC the other day. Killed a huge demonic balrog of sorts after 2 minutes. Was hard, had to click on it with my mouse at least 3 or 4 times. Then I quit the game. I think I'll quit gaming. Actually.. I quit gaming. N'joy. J.

I, too, have recently spent 3 years in a Buddhist monastery. Brothers? I'm not ordained, but - absolutely. How surprising to meet a fellow heathen in here. kirottu; Yup, I think it was only the iPhone. Also, as Wals mentioned, Apple/iPhone user terms do state that Apple reserves the right to collect such data. I guess ppl just don't think it's a problem. The old conspiracy-nutter Junai is on high altert of course. Gotto learn to calm down.. J.

It's true, people don't seem to care. Last month the Norwegian government decided to implement the EU data retention directive, which allows the police access to every citizen's internet traffic-data. Combined with the iPhone tracker it shouldn't be too hard for them to monitor every Apple-customer's movements continuously. I guess in our collective consciousness the free peoples of the west have decided we've had enough of freedom. We need to be disciplined again? A return to the old Eastern Germany surveilance and zekret polize! I'm ready for it though. Having spent 3 yrs in a buddhist monestary I'm used to having no personal life or personal boundaries. I just don't think the average citizen is ready for a return to ye olde DDR. Especially Americans. J.

Security researchers have discovered that Apple's iPhone keeps track of where you go

Took down Drizzt with a lvl 2/3 fighter/thief. Str 25 potion, potion of speed. Run, hide, backstab. Didn't even take all that long. Just make sure you get out of his way after you stab him. = J.

Utopian nonsense imho.. Create a perfect techno-society so noone would have to work? Lolz.. The techno-"crutch" is already about to create a generation of obese and phlegmatic dimwits. The dayjob is what keeps most of the people on this planet going. For a lot of people, nothing else makes any sense. Half the planet would go through a deep existential crisis if this Venus-project happened. There's simply not enough psychologists and zen-masters around to reorient the fragile weltanschauung of billions of people before they went on a frothing rampage to destroy everything we hold dear and "believe" in.. Take away people's illusions and they go nuts. Those who are ready to escape the samsaric illusion are few. One person at the time.. slooooowly.. J.
