  1. Wikileaks leaks what the media doesn't leak, so to have media control Wikileaks.. ? Well, I'm sure it sounds ideal in Krez' world.. Dumbass.. J.
  2. Mundane data are now harmful! Is Eric Prince? Or the recipients of the 700B dollar bailout package which was voted down in congress? External bodies shouldn't scrutinize government business? News-media? FYI, 'free corporate media' doesn't equal 'freedom of press'. Wiki is doing what the big corrupt media-houses should be doing. Thank you, I'll take the raw unprocessed data if you don't mind. You can have yours processed by Fox if you want. J.
  3. Coming from the guy who thinks that leaks containing little of any substance seriously damages America's ability to function as a government. Wonderful. Loon. J.
  4. 1) What a load of hogwash.. if you think for a second that the USA is a democracy, you're blind, deaf and dumb. 2) Rite.. honey traps, damage control, media smearing, Peter King defining Wikileaks as a terrorist organization.. all of this because there is no substance in the leaks?.. 3) YOU JUST SAID THERE WAS LITTLE OF ANY SUBSTANCE! Frank and sensible discussion? US diplomats treat foreign leaders as idiots.. 'bout time we get to hear about it don't you think? Idiots are caught with their pants down. Time to put out the fire and eat humble pie I say.. GO WIKI! J.
  5. Hardly, considering the US embassy in Norway started their damage control vis-a-vis Norwegian newspapers a week ago. J.

It's amazing how patient americans are when it comes to change in Iraq, as opposed to Obama's change in America.. J.

Give it up man. American kids don't get it. They love their stealth bombers, army rangers and Hollywood glorification. J.
  10. We fed them opium, the crumbling chinese society gave birth to Mao, now we criticize them for being hard and inhumane.. Life sure has a sick sense of humour.. J.
  11. Malavon in IWD1, taking out my main chars fighter-sidekick with turn-to-stone, then shattering the poor sod with Otiluke's Freezing Sphere. Was awe-inspiring.. One of my best IE-game memories. J.
  12. I always wondered what gamers say when publishers run focus-groups to figure out what kind of games people want..

    Help Sir PJ!

PM steps up, $34 mill. taxbreak - and the Hobbit is safe in NZ. Warner sure knows how to use unionists to their advantage.. lol Grats NZ.

    Help Sir PJ!

Quite funny, this column by Paul Holmes in the NZ-Herald; "And if it all has simply been a brilliant game by Warner Bros to garner greater tax breaks, they have played it brilliantly." I wouldn't be suprised actually, but if this is the case, it proves that they really want to shoot it in NZ. Doesn't it? I cross my fingers, anyway. I wanna go to NZ and see the Shire..

    Help Sir PJ!

You're right! Production is delayed b/c of stupid people. The Shire is in New Zealand, nowhere else!.. *sigh*. J.
  16. Warner Bros.' confidence in NZ as shooting location for the Hobbit is shaken. Whiny aussie unionists. Rally!
  17. If needed, just drop the gfx settings until the name of the game turns into Conan the Pixel Murders Gaiderland and looks like this: I never ever ever-- ever... ever.. killed that sorcerer at the end. The one with the fireballs. Ever. *sigh* J.
  18. What about the experienced game designers that embraced the change? They need the money. Jokes aside, designers don't decide what's popular or what can make money, which is the one and only point of this change - someone thought this way DA would be a better cash cow. Nothing to do with creativity. Also this way its more easily adaptable to consoles, which is again the same thing - more moneyz. You're talking about it as though it was a creative issue. Oh man.. A market survey might indicate what people like, but I believe people enjoy what the devs enjoyed working on. People don't know what they like. An artist's inspiration and joy is reflected in his work, which is *probably* why I still think the first Infinity-engine games are more enjoyable than more modern graphically advanced products. It's a bit like when you come home to mommie and eat her food. She enjoys to cook when her family is around - and so for every poor sod out there, mommie's meatballs sets the standard for yumminess. I don't think "more moneyz and sales" necessarily indicate that the audience is happy. It might as well be the big time marketing. Eventually, when there's just EA left, and you get to choose between Soccer, some monstrous MMORPG, DA5 and a golf-game, people are gonna purchase these games for lack of alternatives. Doesn't mean they're the *best*. God knows how many delicate wonders died out of the world in lack of money to survive. Cash cows pass into oblivion, but inspired artworks never die. So far, nothing tells me that DA2 is gonna be the next big thing.. *shrug* J.
  19. Impossible, for a state to be considered healthy it requires all those working together. It is fairly impossible for those to occur simultaneously. It's a kind of a Maslow social hierarchy of needs, safety and physiological needs come first than politics i'm afraid. The best political course of action is actual action, solve their problems and make your "idol" look good, soon you'll have an unifying messiah. If you can't find one make one. According to cbo.gov the make-up kit for our beloved CIA-stooge-messiah - Karzai - is now up to $.6T. Someone obliterates DC buildings, and a country receives a trill for democratic facelift-purposes? Who wrote the script for this play? You don't liberate helpless girls in burkas by straightening out their Taliban daddies. The girls will come around by their own accord when they're strong enough. That's when the real messiah appears, when he's really needed. Unfortunately, such pivotal figures are usually removed by the US, coz they interfere with the empire's interests. I'm more worried about my own western world than curtain-dressed Afghan-girls living under the yoke of Taliban mongrels. How about we get out of this media-solipsis of circular war-reasoning and ask the question that really matters, which is; what the **** happened? J.
  20. Like Assange could rape anybody. Paris Hilton has more testosteron..
  21. When a person believes that half the world harbours terrorists who are out to get him and his countrymen, he's not only paranoid, he's insane as well. If you wish to believe that the inmates at Gitmo are criminals, and that evil shoe-bombers roam the land plotting to kill you, you're welcome to do so. I'm not worried however. Even you will come around one day. I just hope your kind wakes up before the US is broke, coz I don't want my country to end up a financial protectorate of the People's Republic of China. J.
  22. So your alternative, my faux-wise adolescent friend is to assert that every threat we are told about is a lie? What a cosy world you live in, where nothing ever actually threatens us! Or perhaps you believe that ONLY our own side ever threatens us, in which case I hope you find your paranoia comforting. Trust me doc., the epitome of paranoia is when you divide the whole world into two segments; axis and allies, and intimidate every ally by stating that you're either with us, or with the terrorists. That's paranoia. J.
  23. It's nice to see what paranoia can achieve in the other direction. So what's next? Iran? North-Korea? How much do you think the American taxpayer's wallet can take? Do you even care? A few doctors, some pregnant woman.. sad indeed, but this is about more than just a few individuals. The masses tend to miss the bigger picture when faced with individual tragedies. You don't justify a prolongation of a full-scale multi-national invasion with pictures of an ugly shoebomber, or a dead doctor. The blind masses tend to think and act just like you do when Fox-news hit them with drive-bys like these from time to time. Time to wisen up and think a bit further.. eh? J.
  24. Kill off a few doctors, and suddenly public support which had ebbed to an all time low is renewed. This farce will never end when the masses are so easily manipulated. J.
  25. When you understand that names and shapes are hollow shells without any content whatsoever, and what is real is nameless and formless, pure energy of life and light of consciousness, you will be at peace - immersed in the deep silence of reality.. - Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
