Whoohoo, I just visited a "questionable" website using IE, and without any popups or dialogue boxes, at least 12 spyware programs installed themselves. I'm running WinXP SP2 with all the latest security updates. Don't consider yourself safe just because you don't click the yes button, especially if you're using IE.

I can't really help, but I can offer some condolences. After I upgraded to the 4.10 dets everything started running incredibly slow, and trying to start any games would cause a crash and some nasty error message. Right now I'm running an earlier version of the drivers that don't seem to have any problems and run all the games I play just fine. So unless you need to upgrade because of some bug that's fixed in the later versions I wouldn't bother. I would try the 4.11 dets but I'm afraid they'd just screw up my system like the 4.10 version did. My next video card will most likely not be from ATi. Edit: I have a Radeon 9800 Pro

Getting money to go to college is a big incentive if you're not very well off. There is a lot more to the army then just a foot soldiers, you need to realize that before spouting off. Not everyone is in the front lines taking bullets. My brother is in the Army and was deployed to Iraq a while ago, he has since come back just fine. No, he wasn't a grunt, he was in the Signal Corps with the 101st Airborn division (laying down network cables and making sure everything was running properly). Yes, If I had joined I would have been fine with dying. Not because America is my country but because being in the Army would have been my job. When you take a job you know the risks (at least you should). You weigh the risks vs the benefits (perks) and decide if it's right for you. When I was thinking of joining, it was before 9/11 and the current war we are in. Another thing you need to realize before judging others and jumping to conclusions is that others don't always have the same value system as you.

The article is really sparse on details so I can' say it doesn't cost much extra, but based on the same article I don't see how you could say it costs a lot more then what they Army already pays. Would you rather have the doctors sitting around playing backgammon or would you rather have them doing something (they get payed the same either way). Like I said before though, there's probably better theings they could be doing. Many people join the Army for the perks. I bet a lot of people wouldn't have joined if they only got paid the basic salary (a small army isn't a good thing to have if you're trying to be the most powerfull in the world.). I was going to join at one point in my life, the only reason I really wanted to join though was because of *gasp* the perks (paying for education etc).

I'm totally agianst altering something natural and find a women with breast implants not close to as sexy as B4hand... Not to mention I don't want to pay for it! Yet another thing for people to get sucked into the military by... I wonder how someone who joined the military for breast implants feels when they are dying from a shot to the chest... I see it as more of they're actually getting a use out of the tax dollars they were already spending. By giving the doctors something to do (they're already being paid anyway) it's not all going to waste, although I do think they may be able to find a better use for their skills.

I agree, without companies actually releasing things on DVD there just wont be a change. I'm one of those people who still only has a CD-burner. The only reasons I haven't gone to DVD is because #1 I don't watch movies, #2 I don't have a lot of stuff I want to burn, and #3 there are hardly any games released for DVD, not making it worth while to get one. I want my no-pants option. But really, this isn't The Sims2 and extra, vain things should only really be added if the artists/programmers have the time. Id rather see them working on their next project or helping smooth out KOTOR2 (story, bugs, etc...).

I thought it would be interesting to discuss more movies, politics gets old after awhile. So, I wasn't very impressed with the first Spider-Man movie and although I don't remember much about it I do remember I gave it a 4 out of 10. Last Thursday I went back to the theaters expecting the same from Spider-Man 2. However, I came away pleasantly surprised. Although there are lots of questionable things in the movie that don't make much sense (they're mostly small nitpicks) I gave it an overall rating of 8 out of 10. It kept my attention and kept me entertained throughout pretty much the whole movie. My biggest complaints were the train scene, the overall ending of the movie, and the really annoying people sitting behind me.

Ah, I guess I'm the only one who didn't like it I am looking forward to the next Pixar movie though.

It looks like they're adding more non-humanoid characters to fight. Especially in the area of robots (look at all the purty guns theys got). Of course I'm just basing my assumption off of the screenshots.

Whoa. I just read that forum and maybe it's because I'm tired to the point of strange vision and almost falling asleep, but it was really confusing. It seemed like Karzak said there were the problems with the forum. And then everyone else was confused and said What? and had no clue what was going on. Then someone just popped up and said he was banned. That seems pretty unjustified...maybe. I'm having some comprehension problems right now. I think some (lots?) of the posts in that thread were deleted. Leading to some pretty strange conversations. I couldn't comprehend it either.
