Lol. Lucas can call them whatever he wants. Point is, they don't use the dark side of the force, and they won't use it. The way I see it, they're light side Jedi that just don't believe everything the council says goes. At the very least they're far more inclined towards the light side then the dark side. Thanks, Jolee being "grey" actually makes sense now From www.dictionary.com "ignorance \Ig"no*rance\, n. [F., fr. L. ignorantia.] 1. The condition of being ignorant; the want of knowledge in general, or in relation to a particular subject; the state of being uneducated or uninformed. Ignorance is the curse of God, Knowledge the wing wherewith we fly to heaven. --Shak. 2. (Theol.) A willful neglect or refusal to acquire knowledge which one may acquire and it is his duty to have. --Book of Common Prayer." I concede my argument.

Edit: removed post because it was a pointless argument

Because all the pilot would have to do is rotate the ship 180 degrees and you would be back where you started. TripleRRR I see three problems with that #1. The pilot and gunner would have to be in constant communication with which way to turn. #2. The constant moving of the ship would make it hard for the gunner to aim. #3. Everyone would get very dizzy with the constant spinning. But now that I think about it, only having one turret did make it a lot better in the game
-
I always wondered why the enemy ships flew by the turret. They could have just stayed on the side of the ship with no turret and blown it to bits. (that's why a turret on both sides would be good)

Are you saying it is possible to aquire knowladge without admiting you are ignorant, or that the phrase is to obvious to be worth saying? Jolee and Qui Gon are usually refered to as "grey" jedi (George Lucas's term). Jolee is of neutral alignment and is unable to use light side artifacts. It's possible to learn new things withought acknowledging ones own ignorance. Things that are said don't always go in one ear and out the other, and usually reside in memory for some time (hence learning). Even if the person doesn't accept it, they have still learned something. On a side note, Jolee never really seemed "grey" to me.. more like a tree hugging hippie. <_<

PLanets the same size? what?

I second that But I bet the engine doesn't lend itself to traditional RPGs very well. -
Including a toolset probably wouldn't take too much away from the actual game, considering the developers already have the toolsets which they use. But then having to provide support for said tools afterwards and possible licensing issues (especially since it's not in their contract with Lucas Arts to provide said tools) means we wont be getting them. I would love to see them but it wont happen.

the hair could still be longer- it could point upwards for example. since SW is known for strange hairdos it would be ok... Does this mean they could bring back the beehive hairdo? -
There are so many IN* words to choose from and this isn't even begining to scratch the surface Darth Cipient Darth Clement Darth Souciant Darth Nocuous Darth Congruous Darth Dolent Darth Transigent Darth Eluctable <-Favorite Darth Choate

A tool-set release is very unlikely, it has already been said that KOTOR2 will be about as modifiable as the first one. It's up to Lucas Arts if they will even be able to release the new model specs they are using for the game. So you'll have to go up the ladder because I don't think Obsidian can make any decisions about it.

I only have a few really simple works to show for my efforts, here they are if you want to see them. http://greenravenart.tripod.com/works/eye.txt http://greenravenart.tripod.com/works/candyjar.txt http://greenravenart.tripod.com/works/vase2m.txt http://greenravenart.tripod.com/works/kim.txt Ignore the .txt endings, they should open fine in IE 6. This is to get around the hotlinking issues with Tripod. If you have to save them to disk.. they are all .jpg except Kim which is .png

I think neither the X-Box or PC will have any exclusive features. I believe the PC version will have larger textures then the Box though. I do, however, hope the PC interface will get an upgrade and make better use of the wonderfull moving pointer thing.

I'm interested in things like that, being a casual modeler and all.
-
Just wondering, but what programs are you using to model/render those images?
-
Here's an amazing concept. It should be easy on the easy setting and hard on the hard setting. That way, people get what they want.

I thought birds migrate before winter comes so they can avoid it. You also have to take into account that different kinds sparrows have different migratory habits. Heres the White-throated Sparrow Migration for example. http://www.nwf.org/wildlife/whitethroateds...w/migration.cfm

uh.. hmn? He has "problems", it's best to ignore him when he goes off. <_<
-
Edit: Bah, it's not like he'd listen anyway

Or maybe they have.. can you really be sure? If you don't understand that the above is a sarcastic remark, here's the rolling eyes to prove it.

Stripes-No Pulsing-Sounds cool Rainbow-Hell No! You have to envision the unicorns and fluffy bunnies that go with the rainbow one.
-
Uh, I'm not so sure this is a great idea. I can imagine the dialogue going something like this: "I am a free woman! Don't even think about touching me you male chauvinist pig! Women are strong! Down with porn! Down with men!

PLanets the same size? what?
LostStraw replied to Mr. Teatime's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I felt like there was too much running around the maps in KOTOR. Some places felt cramped with too many things too close together while other places were huge expanses of nothingness (desert anyone) and having to run across them was rather tiring. The second time through the game I just killed all the sand people so I wouldn't have to run back. <_< -
And the discusion was going so nice too... I figure the character development he's referring to doesn't include romances. I can't blame him as romances aren't everyones cup of tea (especially lame ones).
-
Why is everyone sticking with boring solid colors. How about stripes, maybe a rainbow, or perhaps one that pulses between different colors.
-
Sorry, I don't think they'll make a game where you can strip and run through the streets naked. You could always pray for a mod though. Um... thats not what I wanted. I wanted the ability to play a non-jedi. Most people knew that already. I think the phrase is having a laugh, or something to that effect What is the problem with becoming a Jedi? I know we've had a long discussion about this and quite frankly, it's NEVER going to happen in any KotOR game (presuming KotOR5 comes out in a few years, etc). Becoming a jedi doesn't really inhibit the experience, does it? Jedis are munchkin characters. I don't like playing munchkin characters. What about a jedi with one arm, no legs and had an allergy concerning the force. Requiring a day of recovery for each force power used and unable to wield a light saber withought breaking out in a terrible rash. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be much of a munchkin character.. unless you count the fact he'd also be a midget.
