Superman suffered because they brought in the kid sideplot and they made the movie c...r...a...w...l across the screen. Spiderman Two was very good. F4 was trying to do the comics justice and failing (wow... the guy looks like he's 50 and he's going to get married to HER!?) also it got preempted by Incredibles. The silver surfer would be interesting but I don't think many comic book characters will like it because it looks like they are going to be potraying the Surfer as mindless machine that reacts and kills when attacked rather than a galactic superpowered person who's saving his world by doing this.

greasy... about half of what you posted sounds like you're system isn't up to the strain of NWN2... unless you got 1 and 2 swapped.

Doom isn't insane... he's just trying to deify himself and makes a point in trying to take over the world... and he also has a tendancy to state his goals well before hand. Mainly because there is no law against walking up to a cop and saying "I'm going to take over the world" (that was actually stan's basis for the character). Doom has respect for others with power, a very very strong feeling of family devotion. He's also a powerhungry leader of a high tech nation. He likes to test his opponents rather than kill them, and likes to believe that he can control everything. When he can't it usually comes back and bites him.

Just jumping in after having a two day stint of no Internet so... Christianity at it's base might be good... but if there is a god, it does a really nice job of hiding. (note "it" god as an omicent being doesn't have a gender... nor should the angels). Also, attempting to prove that evolution exsists to a young earth creationist is like hitting your head against a wall. I think that Religion in general is going to either have to make RADICAL changes or somthing in the near future because in previous eras god was used as an explanation of the unknown. Now there is MUCH less unknowns for god to play with.

Remember what happened last time a few states tried to seceed? The US is like a mafia family. As Tony Soprano would say "once you come into the family, there is no gettin' out". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> cept that california is currently the worlds fourth largest economy on its own. And all the eastern states would no longer have easy access to far east companies. -

Lawrence Hollands games were all in the years WAY before N64 made it's debut. You could give an ancient P133 a kick and have tie fighter and Xwing working for you no problem. Now you can't get Tiefighter to work WITHOUT having win 95 specifically as the op system (trust me... enough of a fanbase exsists that they've exhausted EVERYTHING to get this sucker to work. It all failed) I think one of the biggest losses when Lucasarts rebuilt itself was the loss of the future Totally Games crew, and the crew that did Dark Forces.

Recently the RTS genre as a genere has Split... If you look at most of the recent releases they are either Total War style empire builders or Down and dirty Company of Heroes microfests. Nothing has hit the midpoint like C&C or Starcraft much since SC (warcraft three was a microfest for good players) Supreme commander looks like it will bridge this gap but you never know until a game is out.

I see psychotropics are not unusual in Japan. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> not really... well for anime creators.

Kalfears WvE problem makes me wonder what the heck would happen to america if Cali, Oregon,Washington, Nevada, Airzona, and Idaho Made their own sessession. -
don't forget the ever present "the guy you think is good for 2 seasons is actually the major badguy that you've been chasing this ENTIRE TIME!"

oh... Don't forget the basic scifi plots now adays... Last survivors or Ultimate Explorers! the prior being BSG the latter being Startrek/Stargate.

Extreme serialization. Companies are trying to make shows have metaarcs and usually end up with the metaarc causing the show to become a mess for sombody who just shows up and watches one episiode (Battlestar is a good example of this.)

Wisty... PLAY DEUS EX! The first one... not the :shudder: second one that got turned into XBox fodder.
-
Not sure if I mentioned this but: Dual! Mix Tenchi with Evangelion without the heady psycosis of the latter. It's harem but who cares? it's funny as heck. Also MSG 0080 is good

<3 how the gunships actually shoot down missles.. I just wish there was a way to knock out dropships.

in related news, the Pirate Bay guys are trying to buy a small island nation to evade international Copywrite protection laws. I think they are currently the BIGGEST torrent site after Supernova got killed.

the thing about multiplayer with the consortium is that they are only designed to have one or two planets while corrupting the rest, But the multiplayer start has them on equal footing with everyone else and earning nearly three times the amount of credits. Also Ig 88 is overpowered.

not true at all. there are plenty of others licensed to perform marriages. it's easy to do a google search and find out particulars, which vary from place to place. note that I added the qualifier of I think. I wasn't sure so my statement still holds. not true, either. most places want some sort of "class" attendance, but it is not necessarily required, AND, not done only by a pastor. in florida, we had to file for some sort of license, and could get a discount if we did a "class" first. the money we paid to our minister guy (uh, lutheran, whatever they are), was actually applied to the license fee. however, we were not required to do this "class" nor were we required to do it with a pastor. also, it was only one hour of "counseling," hardly significant. Did I say it was ONLY provided by a pastor? No... actually read the things written next time the only true statement you've made yet. mostly religious, yes, which is where i think it should remain. 2nd true statement i suppose. next time you go off on a rant opposing something, i suggest actually finding out the truth first. failing to check your "facts" can result in arguments that are easy for others to find flaws with. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and if the relationship is mostly religious then why is it given benefits which are also denied to other couples in almost the exact same situation (really this depends on the state) but don't comply to a one man one woman model? And why would our "beloved" congress try to put into a constitutional amendment to make it so that Marriage was defined as one man one woman? If you're going to make benefits for a couple to live together, extend them to all possible combinations, not just the child bearing ones.

Can't comment due to barefaced silliness of statement. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So I can't spell, never claimed I could did I? not to mention the silliness that is ANY organized religion.
-
well My main problem with it is that the government has religion DEFINE marrige (one man and one woman, no other combinations)

a) they have not "politely asked us to leave." check your facts. b) they have not descended into civil war, either. at least not yet. and our presence is not necessarily the reason for a lot of the problem. insurgency from iran, however, may be. except that we upset the only thing that was keeping any sort of civil war in check and were incapable of placing somthing in the subsiquent power vacum in time to keep the rebellious groups in check. obviously you do not understand the definition of an empire. are they actually teaching in schools anymore? taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really? An empire requires that sombody have enough time, money, and drive to make it. otherwise it generally just falls apart. America can't have the traditional model of an empire because we don't have any "undiscovered country" to claim as our own and place all our malcontents and unwanted citizens. Instead we have to claim another country and make sure that the selected government we put in place is little more than a puppet with us pulling the strings. Only problem is that where we are trying to put our little empire is exactly where it's not wanted, and so anytime we try to "encourage democracy" we get a group selected that absolutly HATES us so we generally try to find reasons to stick around and try to make it a puppet. At least until a regime change. Anyway get off your high horse taks.
