You mean the one that came out for the NES that was hard as heck? (aaeaulpa is the infinate lives for game genie)

Because USA is poor at colonialism. All "experts" and researchers (europeans, americans etc.) agree on this. Oh the IRONY of it is painful
-
just a guess but slow.

then why are the Irish fighting the brits?

in Cali the taxes are primairly Property. At McD's and Gamestop we asses a sales tax (currently the rates are 7.75% in the area I work, it's 7.25% in the county I live...) and the only things that are taxes at the grocery store are Sodas and beers.

rassumfrassum also DEAD HORSE and I think about a dozen people have needed this at one time or another

One of the other major things was like crash said, all the actions you took up until pretty much the last senario were pretty much just fluff. In the beginning there are two groups you can "work" for. In the middle there are two different groups (somewhat related to the first two) In the end there are I think four groups that you can ultimatly work for. The ending only has relation to what happened thirty seconds before. There is no "saving" paul from the killswitch. Nothing that has as much impact.

actually this has some merit, the moment we can find some other group of people who are not part of our earthy society to hate is the moment we will unite to fight the suckers tooth and nail for anything they have. Otherwise it's a pipe dream.

*twitch* If you asked the VERY SAME question to any of the people in power currently they'd tell you no, then run off and make several laws that said that nobody other than a certain ethnic/religious group would be able to attain power (admittedly they oculdn't do it now without at least one senator being tossed from office) I'm fairly certain that in most countries that have such deep devides you'd find the same thing, not just between Shiites and Sunnis, but between catholics, WASP's, Flying spagettii monsterarians, british Jedi, Jews, neo-nazis... Anyone would say that if they were allowed to answer unfettered by any sort of inhibition or consequence. The only difference in america is that our system of government forces politicians to plaster a smile to their face and say "I love you" to anyone and anything with the ability to vote.

The Black Company is easily the best of the series. But the others are ok (by the sixth and seventh books it's a little screwy, and a tad more preachy about good v evil rather than evil v even more evil)
-
I liked the first three "chapters" of it... then it became more linear than your average FPS. Also some of the mechanics were wonky... (all guns use the same ammo!?)
-
you would LOVE the black company by glenn cook.

oye... you should see some of our comic threads in the WOT section (we really need to rename that) but, the problem if fantasy is that it's a nebulous title. Ultimatly anything with somthing that couldn't, hasn't, or won't plausably happen could be titled under fantasy. Other sections of fiction like Crime, Mystery(well most of them) war books and the like would fall under the title of fiction while others would fall under the title of fantasy. However the traditional fantasy setting has elves, dwarves, magic, swords, arrows, and the odd multiplaner activity. Meanwhile the traditional Scifi finds that you have aliens, spaceships (generally warships), Massive interstellar wars, FTL capability, and usually has robots created from machinery with computerized brains (rather than powered by magical forces and controled by one mystic). To say that star wars is Fantasy is interesting in that Star Wars jumpstarted the scifi we know today as scifi. You rarly hear about how people are entertained by starship troopers to the point where it has a dozen and a half spinoffs. Before star wars, most of the Scifi was based around grim doominess.

I searched for it on ebay and... Man, it must be rare or something. http://product.ebay.com/Suikoden-II_UPC_08...1453QQsoprZ1436 II is the rarest of them, FF7 is generally very rare (but I think I might have one in stock at my second job) because it's considered by MOST to be a landmark title that twisted the genre on its ear.

yeah.. that last one was just for kicks... but the first one gives me the willies.

I like the cutting off of two of your opponents.

The only thing I don't like is that the computer gets immense honour guards without holding much provinces at all, then you have for example two units of raptors, a defiler, obliterator, sorcerer and several cultists along with a smathering of marines assaulkting your base right when you arrive at a province under conflict. The computer really likes to rush early, especially as Chaos and Orks. Gorgutz against a xv-15 stealth team and a Tau Commander, it's pretty easy to predict the outcome. Furthermore, once every province goes over 6 in their defence value, each new victory becomes sludgefest that can last over 2 hours, since the two enemy bases keep spewing out high tier units non-stop and you can hardly stop them while trying to desperately build up your defences. It's challenging, yeah, but get pretty tedious soon and if you don't have a decent-sized honour guard soon in the campaign, most of the province battles with over 6 defence rating become almost impossible. I'm stuck in a Tau campaign, becase I just can't beat Chaos with it's gigantic honour guard and a 6+ provinces. And I'm only 16 turns in. if you don't want it to be a permanent seige, bum rush with your honor guard.

Just got to the Imperial city in Jade empire... I must say the battle system certainly has more quirks to it and is more interactive than Kotors.

hades made my brain bleed out of my ears... does that count?

you wound me with your last statement sir. I think everyone would want to be uber sorceror of doom death and destruction (better known as bob, in accounting) but don't like the sheer complications of being a mage. (do you have the proper spell's, ingrediants, are the conditions correct, can you use that spell, can you call a comet and so on and so on)

worst part is that the terran starting zone will probably be Candia
