Keep at it. You're showing a lot of progress in your art. Just an idea for you, try something with a bit more focus. For example, try drawing a face with a specific impression and more detail. Thats how they teach writing, at least, piece by piece.

Large threads are a hassle to deal with for many reasons. For one, they can cause trouble when datamining. I fail to see how this is "unjustified," I posted in the thread on page 39 that this would happen, no one had any complaints. There are also technical reasons for it, which I won't really go into. If you can think of a reason this somehow hinders your ability to create/post/comment on fan art I'll unlock the thread. Please send these explanations via PM rather than posting.

There are many posts and differing views on the topic. I believe the prevailing one is that Obsidian had a deadline and tried to squeeze more into the game than time allowed.

As far as I can remember, DC does have an MMP Super Hero title in development. Though I'm not sure the developer or even its existence is public knowledge... Oh wells.

Gromnir, your wording has changed slightly. Are you saying that people were complaining about not leveling OFTEN enough, or simply not leveling enough? I remember the latter, not the former.

Again, the complaints I recall weren't with slowly leveling up, simply that you would hit the cap (7 in BG1, 8 with TotSC) and then could do nothing else (without unofficial modding). As I recall I levelled quite quickly in BG1, and was actually to the cap by the time I reached Baldur's Gate City, which is like 2/3s the way through the game. There is a difference between 'the snail's pace o' levelling' and hitting the cap too quickly. I don't recall much griping with the level PACE on the old Developer's Corner or BG1 forums.

I disagree with Gromnir's wording, but not the message. Slow level progression wasn't the problem, the problem was the level CAP. Maximum level of BG1 with TotSC was 8. For a player like me, thats plenty, I prefer low-level adventures. Unfortunately the vast, vast, vast majority of players prefer [lame] 'epic' levels, so they can pack in all the feats they possibly can. *Shrugs* Different strokes for different folks. P.S. The 'lawn-mowing' areas in BG1 were awesome. I loved wandering around the maps and stumbling across encounters.

No, not really. The Anakin recomendation serves ZERO plot purpose, and should've been cut. EDIT: Scratch that, it does serve a plot purpose, but its not "to ensure that Kenobi is sent." It serves to show Anakin that Wrinkles has faith in him where the council does not. This makes sense. This does not.

This is an example of illogic. Why does a recomendation of Anakin lead to the sending of Obi-Wan in a logical line of reasoning? It doesn't. Irrelevent to who Palpatine recomended they would've sent Obi-Wan, he was the resident general of the council, Mace was responsible for protecting Coruscant while Yoda was sent to Kashyyyk. Kenobi was probably the most experienced of the council whom was not busy with some other assignment. Anakin -> Obi-Wan isn't a logical line of thinking, unless you can explain why the council would arrive at that conclusion.

He didn't invent it, he simply "discovered" it. America existed, with millions of people before Columbus' discovery. Columbus wasn't the first to discover america, he is simply accredited with it, in most circles. Dunno... why can Leia recall her mother if she died at her birth? How the hell does a person "lose the will to live" and then die? Why does Yoda need a cane if he can hop around like a pop rock in soda (can you say insurance fraud?)? Why does Obi-Wan not remember R2D2 or C-3PO, if they're so cosy in the first three movies? Why did the emperor take a near-fatal dose of laughing gas before initiating a fight with Yoda? Questions best left un-asked, because the fanboys will come kill your for bringing them up.
