  1. There was some news in the old thread which I never added into it. The old thread is located here: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=271 Anyway, thanks to Ender for continuing the thread, glad to have someone taking up the cause.
  2. EDIT: ^What he said^ Since when? Maybe in this game, but in the D20 rules, a crit is double or triple damage. That is why they have to specify what damage is added before or after you double. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, it is not the sum multiplied, if means you rolle the dice multiple times. A great axe's x3 means you roll the damage three times, not a single roll multiplied by 3.
  3. Thread pruned. I will remind you all that insulting other members is not allowed on the forums.
  4. Farscape's first season actually was kind of slow, at least the first half of it. Even the slow first season kept me enthralled, though.
  5. Farscape > Everything.
  6. This is a continuation of the previous thread, which can be found here. Please feel free to continue the conversation.
  7. How I missed this thread for so long boggles the mind. Since this thread has broken the 40 page mark I am closing it down and opening a new one. The new thread can be found here.
  8. Please continue this discussion in PMs. I don't want to have to prune this topic of debate again.
  9. Much, much better. The nose looks like it suffered a few beatings from your eraser, though.
  10. There are technical reasons. Please stay on topic in the thread, if you have a question about the closing send me a forum PM.
  11. I have already informed the thread starter, so I will now post here. Once this thread reaches page 40 I will close it down and start a new one with a link to it. If you have a post you would like moved into the new topic please send me a forum PM for me to move it once the new thread has begun, otherwise it will remain in this thread. If you have a question or concern please send me a PM, as well.
  12. Keep at it. You're showing a lot of progress in your art. Just an idea for you, try something with a bit more focus. For example, try drawing a face with a specific impression and more detail. Thats how they teach writing, at least, piece by piece.
  13. Large threads are a hassle to deal with for many reasons. For one, they can cause trouble when datamining. I fail to see how this is "unjustified," I posted in the thread on page 39 that this would happen, no one had any complaints. There are also technical reasons for it, which I won't really go into. If you can think of a reason this somehow hinders your ability to create/post/comment on fan art I'll unlock the thread. Please send these explanations via PM rather than posting.
  14. This is a continuation of the previous Star Wars fan art thread. Please use this thread to post your art, or the art of others. Please give constructive feedback about pieces, rude or disrespectful comments will be deleted. Any posts off topic will be pruned, if they warrant a new topic a new one will be created. The old thread can be found here.
  15. Either that, or its the world's longest phone number. Is this spam?
  16. I'll tell you that he is in the game, just won't say when or where.
  17. Seconded. I mean, wtf? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was my fault. I misread something, didn't realize it was proper names of places. In any case, now we know =P
  18. There are many posts and differing views on the topic. I believe the prevailing one is that Obsidian had a deadline and tried to squeeze more into the game than time allowed.
  19. As far as I can remember, DC does have an MMP Super Hero title in development. Though I'm not sure the developer or even its existence is public knowledge... Oh wells.
  20. Semi-spoilerish, yet still a spoiler. Moved.
  21. I miss Farscape. It makes me sad thinking its over.
  22. Change your sig, JE, it isn't June anymore.
  23. Gromnir, your wording has changed slightly. Are you saying that people were complaining about not leveling OFTEN enough, or simply not leveling enough? I remember the latter, not the former.
  24. Again, the complaints I recall weren't with slowly leveling up, simply that you would hit the cap (7 in BG1, 8 with TotSC) and then could do nothing else (without unofficial modding). As I recall I levelled quite quickly in BG1, and was actually to the cap by the time I reached Baldur's Gate City, which is like 2/3s the way through the game. There is a difference between 'the snail's pace o' levelling' and hitting the cap too quickly. I don't recall much griping with the level PACE on the old Developer's Corner or BG1 forums.
  25. I disagree with Gromnir's wording, but not the message. Slow level progression wasn't the problem, the problem was the level CAP. Maximum level of BG1 with TotSC was 8. For a player like me, thats plenty, I prefer low-level adventures. Unfortunately the vast, vast, vast majority of players prefer [lame] 'epic' levels, so they can pack in all the feats they possibly can. *Shrugs* Different strokes for different folks. P.S. The 'lawn-mowing' areas in BG1 were awesome. I loved wandering around the maps and stumbling across encounters.
