  1. Did the devs forget to put this in, or something? I'm getting flashbacks of the IWD2 armors that didn't get put in until the patch.
  2. I don't know what to tell you. You have NO grenades or mines? No way to make yourself immune or at least resistant to his attacks? If you have a gamorean cleaver and improved critical try using that after you buff yourself. With the gamroean cleaver and improved crit you have a good chance of stunning him.
  3. I found Kavar the toughest, simply because he dealt the most damage per round to me. He was the only boss I had to employ shields against, mostly because if I tried to run away he force jumped... nevermind that though.
  4. Don't worry about force powers that effect HIM. Buff yourself with your force powers and items. Since you don't have any grenades (I have to ask what DO you have?), you'll have to get crafty. Use force speed to run away and shoot him while he runs at you. Set mines, if you can. Honestly you're not giving much info, but from what I can see you're not prepared to fight a boss, or much of anything.
  5. Use your shields, any shields you have that will protect you from energy. Personally, I would turn myself into a walking bomb, of sorts. Rush at him and throw grenades, but make sure you're protected from that type of damage. So sonic grenades, make sure you have the sound nullifiers. Use your forcepowers, you have to have more than three force powers unless you're only level 3(I doubt this, but if you are, try leveling up).
  6. Bumping my own thread sucks. But this is now bothering me that no one seems to know about the dark-colored saber.
  7. Are you saying that quest will give the crystal which makes your saber "almost black" as a reward?
  8. I don't think you can choose that as a color. Viridian was one option, but that is the light green(and this is accessible in game). The rest seemed normal.
  9. Nobody has gotten the dark color saber crystal? (A.k.a. bump)
  10. I believe the silver one can be obtained by doing either(or both) of these. 1) 2)
  11. I got tired of searching the forums. Has anyone actually gotten any of these in game? I mean the crystal that was described as making your lightsaber blade "so dark it might as well be black." If you did get it was it a random drop, or was it a quest item?
  12. Atris had plenty of substance. If you talked to your party members enough and really examined how she acted you could piece together her motivations and personality. Nihilus on the other hand. I felt quite robbed when I had the showdown with him. I felt like a cornball, I imagined myself strolling up to him, then right as I was 5 steps behind him alerting him to my presence with the sound of my lightsaber flaring up. . . Had I know how much of a pushover he was. . . mreh. He had very littler defining character moments, at least in my plays through the game. Perhaps I missed something. Atris on the other hand, I really understood.
  13. Personally, I think the ending of TSL suffered from the same problem that the final LotR's movie. The "ending" dragged on, and on, and on. Everytime I thought to myself "this is it. The final showdown" I was sent off to a new area to battle something else. I can't say much more without spoilers, but if you've played it, you would know. Overall, I enjoyed TSL over the original KotOR. It was more RPG less adventure with RPG elements. Nearly every choice you make has consequences, both down-the-road and immediate. I was disappointed with some areas, but thoroughly impressed with others.
  14. Jedi Guardian - Force Jump Watchman/Assassin - Sneak attacks. I jumped around like a pinball dealing insane amounts of damage like this. Stats didn't matter. If you're darkside and use force crush you can be almost invulnerable.
  15. If you were anymore wrong I would've assumed you were lying just to argue.
  16. So? Why should the amount of money the company put into graphics affect the review of the game? Players don't pick up a game and say "Oh. . . these graphics are equal to a game I played five years ago. . . however they're a poor company and I'm sure they did the best they could with what they could." A player picks up the game and says "Oh. . . these graphics are equal to a game I played five years ago." You compare KotOR to Halo because they're on the same system with the same technical specs. Just like you compare an N64 game to an N64 game you compare an Xbox game to an Xbox game. I personally don't care about graphics much and prefer gameplay and story first and foremost, I also appreciate that graphics affect sales. When your common joe-schmoe picks up a game and sees antiquated graphical presentation they don't get the same WOW they would from a modern game. That should be how games are rated, not on how much money the company allocated to the graphics department. That said, KotOR II's graphics are fine. If we've come to the point where 9.0 is rated low then honestly, we need to re-evaluate the rating system. If you bring an A- home to your parents they probably didn't say "this sucks!"
  17. If I could kill people with a glowing sword made of pure energy, choke people with a thought, and leap tall buildings in a single bound, yes.
  18. Actually, I knew, but I haven't visited these forums regularly in ages. Maybe one day I'll fix it.
  19. ...we'd all be lifers, lad...the sooner ye admits it the better... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... Done.
  20. Hardly, however this "my wee-wee is bigger then yours" stint he generally tries to pull is old. Maybe I'm just jaded. I didn't threaten him. I said I would like to punch him. I didn't say I'de love to pay $300 buck to sly to the arse of the world and back, after knocking him on his ass. OH IF I COULD JUST GET HIS ADDRESS??!?!?!?!!!!!ONE!1!! Sorry, not what I said at all. Besides I can't get punked by someone who types on a 7th grade level.
  21. Idiocy should be a crime. I didn't back down, moron. This was a "what would you like" thread. I said I'de LIKE to punch you in the face, not I would. Pull your head out of the ground. As usual you manage to turn a conversation into an idiotic debate, with name calling. It was a joke. I stress again, JOKE. Seek help.
  22. Volourn, as usual calling names and making insults for a harmless joke. Seek help.
