  1. Crapsor... I put the game as Deep Shadows... gotta update that now.
  2. Its a must. If you suffer a grave dishonor, what would you do? I know I would impale myself upon my blade.
  3. Deep Shadows looks like a First Person Shooter... I'll go over the site looking for the RPG elements
  4. If you make an eastern RPG with Samurai and Ninja(which, for the most part, were Samurai), there must be an option to commit seppukku. Groin shots, head butts, and seppukku.
  5. The one I like the most(though I like a lot of them), is Power of Law. Though, I only recently began to follow its development. Freedom Force could be cool, as well. Another one that looks very interesting is the hindu RPG... though, I have no idea what the hell is going on with that one. If you know of others, I'de be happy to add 'em to the list, or a mod could edit 'em in, I suppose.

  7. This can be done, as far as I know. It just requires a lot of effort. NWN and IWD2 did the quickslots well. Star Wars: Galaxies has differing color schemes. Why not?
  8. Do you have a spork handy? Want me to send you one with instructions on how to violently jam it into your own eye? Screw it... I'll send the spork and instructions to Timberlake... kill the virus at the source.
  9. Rhombus is a funny word. Say it with me... Rhombus. Rom-bus. Rohmbus. Anyway, I like the skin, but I am partial... I do know some people like lighter skins, especially those with failing eyesight, its more ergonomic(right word?)
  10. Care to share some of them with us? It's fun to read other people's strange ideas. I would actually love too... but I have heard way to many stories (I would call them horror), of people taking other peoples ideas, and making money from them. I've shared a few, like a bullet-time RPG, but I'm not about to post exactly how I see it working. If I could get the whole board to sign some sort of napkin contract, I'de love to share 'em, but that ain't gonna happen.
  11. I have so many ideas it'd be impossible to post... I am working on getting it all typed up and formatted though... someday... someday.
  12. Simpler then PC? If by simpler you mean less buttons, but more use per button, then yeah simpler. I could fairly easily imagine a control scheme for Fallout, IE games, or my own systems on a console controller. It would be very similar to KotOR, but with more ability to customize. Sort of a combination of KotOR and NWN. I actually give BioWare a lot of credit for their ability to make KotOR console friendly, it actually plays much better on console then PC. You couldn't have emotes like in SW:G on console, but you probably wouldn't need them. Using (A) as the select button, and the left thumbstick, you could navigate through the quickbar. Want to move a specific attack style to the quick bar? Bring up the menu, select the attack type, then using the d-pad, navigate back to the quick menu and assign a quick slot. It wouldn't be as efficient as mouse and keyboard, but it could be as complex.
  13. I have a credit/debit card. If I ever spend more then I have in the bank, it counts as a loan, essentially. I worked hard to get it, been doing business with the bank for 8 years, never had any problems with them, I've taken out a few minor loans and such, and they were retiscent to give me one. Once I went $2.xx over my balance, and yes, I counted as taking out a 2.xx loan. By the time I realized it, the interest had acrued into a third dollar... penny-pinching bastahds. Anyway, to get a debit card, you'll need to directly contact your bank rep. I think it is illegal for them to accept online applications(It is here, anyway).
  14. This is not good news for someone like me. While sacrficiing personal time is fine, I don't have much free time to sacrifice. Its why most, if not all, my NWN mods and such are worked on with friends and partners. So any works I could contribute would either be co-designed by a friend and I, or something minor, which I could work on in my limited free time. Throwing together lightly scripted areas look like they were created just fill space in a game, and heavily scripted areas takes time, which I for one do not have time to do =/
  15. Care to remind me how the best D&D game so far is crap? "The Caininite Strikes Back" After the development of TEMPLE OF ELEMENTAL EVIL was thwarted through inept and buggy design, the CAININITE regimes amassed to defend their last shreds of hope and dignity. Through use of insults the Caininites, led by the RPGCODEX, sought to prove TROIKA was a credible developer. Rallying a force in the OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT forums, the Caininites tried to spread their malarky, and illogic, in a desperate attempt to hold their position...
  16. Yes. Since it already was... ya know... Revan...
  17. Single best business model EVAR! I shall call it the  model.
  18. Sure Project X is KotOR sequel, or sure Obsidian is working on a KotOR sequel? I am fairly certain Obsidian is developing KotOR2, but I do not know for certain it is Project X.
  19. This is an impossibility, since the "officiul" ending of KotOR is, unfortunately, the cheesey lightside ending. Unless it is an immediate follow-up, and Lucas Arts authorized a sequel in which the Sith rule the galaxy for a short time(which is unlikely, since they would have to re-write a lot of the entire SW history).
  20. Well, not sure about the new one, but the old one had a post apoc thing going on. more like "fall of civilization" a la Mad Max It sort of does, yeah.
  21. Yes, we know Microsoft is TEH SATAN!!! If you actually posted with some semi-logical points, it'd be worth awell thought post. Instead, you get... damn no ignore list. Well thank you. Damn I guess I'd better rethink my entire life now you made that stunning, insightful and.... well, gosh darn it, just magnificant reply. Have you got a fan club? Can I join it? Wow. I'm just lost for words. You can join my fan club, if you'de stop ranting like an insane "s7r416h7 h473r*." *straight hater. Hell you do that and you might be released from the asylum.
