I don't know if it's memory issues, or issues reading the disc. Before I cleaned the DVD optics there seemed to be lots of problems reading the disc.

Knights of the Old Republic is a Jedi vs. Sith setting. That's like saying "let's make a Fallout game, but don't inlcude vaults or mutants because I don't like them."

Well, FF7 was released on the computer, as a CRPG. It's a different genre. JRPGs are more cinematic, and give you less freedom. But some of their games are fun, and the stories pretty good.

I played Necromunda, but those games all looked like many money pits.

Catwoman was CLEARLY the best film of the decade. Berry said she'd never go back to X-Men since she won an Oscar. (X-Men meant working with guys like Brain Cox, Patrick Stewart, Brian Singer, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, etc.) Catwoman was CLEARLY the superior way to go.

If you're thinking in the terms of RPGs outside of the game, then you'll probably enjoy other RPGs. CRPGs are nice, but nothing beats a good gaming group.

I haven't said yet they'll make a true Fallout. I haven't said they'll make a fun Fallout. They might however, get a few things right. They might also introduct Fallout to a new audience.

Who was it that was going to call up Interplay and buy the rights to Jefferson? He couldn't afford a long distance call out to California to look up their number, but he thought he could buy the license.

Oblivion does look breathtaking. And believe it or not, I'm playing Morrowind and enjoying it. I've installed several mods, but most of them just tweak a few rules, fix dialogue, and improve textures. What's surprising me is how fast the game loads and runs on maximum graphics. I wouldn't want Fallout to be like Morrowind, but Bethseda did do a few things right with Morrowind. So long as Fallout doesn't have this "increase skills through repetition" thing going, they might make a decent Fallout game. At the very least, I expect it to be visually stunning.

During development they called it Fallout Fantasy. It couldn't have been further from the truth.

Quite a few out in California, and a good number here in Nebraska.
