Back on topic, before... I don't see a problem with the weapon proficiencies because, as it was mentioned above, there will be more than enough points and if you don't have one it doesn't penalize you, just leave you without a modal. But when I respec'd Mirke, I noticed that she had an ability that I wanted to change and I couldn't. That was a precious point I could've used to upgrade one of her other abilities.

Portraits IV

To post pictures in this forum I click on the "painting" icon (near the emoticons and the "<>" and then copy paste the url of the picture. If it is not from the internet, I have to upload them (with this site, for example: https://imgbb.com/ ) -
I'm doing much better after I respec'd Mirke, Vatnir and Serafen. Mirke now has that ability that increases armor and constitution based on wounds and Vatnir has rapid casting and salvation of time. For some stupid reason I skipped Ancient Memory with Serafen but now I can make Vatnir Brilliant and cast salvation of time. Edit: Was that battle against lots of undead and Fampyrs supposed to be difficult? I found it easy and I didn't need to use empower or figurines.

We used to play Ultima IV on a Commodore 64. You know, 38911 bytes free (memory) and all that. Four floppy discs, loading times almost as long as PoE or Deadfire. ;-) Incidentally, one additional thing that I've noticed in this game: boy do I gain experience levels fast. So, by the current look of things, either I'm going to reach level cap early on, or the game is a lot shorter than I would expect. You'll reach level cap early. Unless you avoid most side quests and exploration.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
InsaneCommander replied to no1fanboy's topic in Computer and Console
My plan is to wait at least a month. But I intend to play the tutorial a couple of times to see how my party turns out. Ok, who am I trying to fool, once I start I won't be able to stop. -

The DLCs are pretty good. Everyone I saw talking about Beast of Winter's story says it's better than the one in the main game. And SSS has some interesting combats, much more difficult than the base game. Btw, did they say anything about what are the DLC plans for Kingmaker? -
I've been waiting for this since they announced a movie ten or more years ago. I will only believe when I see it. Call me a heretic, but while there was much to dislike about the crappy tv gimmick that was used by Red Eagle in an attempt to keep the licence, I actually quite enjoyed Billy Zane sinking his teeth into the role of Ishamael for that 22 minutes. I know how you feel. I watched that and couldn't help but feel good for a moment. I read that prologue so many times that there was a time I could recite the dialogues.

Exactly. Play one, then the other. Two different and interesting experiences. And while you play one, the other is refined and polished. -
Enjoyment.

I'm having a lot of fun in Seeker, Slayer, Survivor. Plenty of funny moments with the sidekicks and some adventurers you find there. -
In what difficult are you playing? If it is not PotD, then raise it. Otherwise it won't get more difficult unless you seek higher level enemies or get to the DLCs. My character is a pirate and basically ignored the main mission for over an year in game time. There is a lot to explore, just find a rp excuse and go for it. I found only two serious bugs. They prevented two quests from clearing in the journal. But it's nothing serious. The difficult and the story are considered better in DLCs by many people. If you enjoy the main game, I strongly suggest you get the DLCs. If you prefer, check some reviews or Let's Plays to make sure you will like them.

My builds were a mess too. I had to respec almost everyone for SSS, just to be on the safe side. Hirelings are a good idea, if the companions fail.
