Dude, a continuous litany of fauxnews and daily fail articles? At best you'll give yourself an ulcer worrying about bollocks designed to get page views from knee jerk reactionary morons, at worst you'll rot your brain worse than a gallon of methanol a day and spread the infection like a slavering zombie biting poor innocents and giving them a yearning for poorly written absymally 'researched' pseudo journalistic crack equivalent. They're a gateway drug to Alex Jones, Breitbart et alia. Just Say No to Stupid Fear Mongering; it's time to declare a War on Clickbait; Friends Don't Let Friends Read the Daily Fail or Fauxnews (Unironically, At Least). This post would be funnier if it wasn't so absurd.

If you failed to grasp the gunpowder reference on the previous page I demand you hang you head in shame (Amentep). You fail at Star Trek trivia!

They don't like gunpowder however

The only two candidates left I want to see in the White House are Rubio & Paul. Paul has no shot and Rubio is the best of what's left. Rubio is a plan B, a second option. You go to the movies to see Star Wars VII but it's sold out so you go see Creed instead. It's like that.

Did you feel guilty GD....you musnt be a race hater now and hate your race because you feel guilty because Qistina made you realize how your ancestors looted and dominated the world during the Wests rise to ascendancy If they did them must have wasted it all 'cause I got nothing to show for it! In all seriousness though I just saved the unwary poster from reading 36 pages of dreck in one post!

I wonder if the Grizz over achieved the past few years and have regressed to the mean. Of if this last gasp of big man ball has finally run it's course. Either way "Grit n Grind" has become drop and flop. But, still a lot of season to go.

Let me sum that thread up for those who didn't read; "I'm Muslim and I know you hate me". "I'm muslim and I used to like you but now I hate you because I know you hate me". "Watch this youtube video. See? This guy hates muslims so I know all of you do too". "I'm never posting here again because I hate you all and I know you hate me". Did I miss anything?

KP I know this type of thing bothers you but can I ask you a honest question, what is about this that really bothers you ? Is it just the principle or do you think the day is coming when suddenly American citizens will be arrested or harassed for what they say on the Internet ? That is EXACTLY what will happen. The powers the government grants itself never expire, The never go away. Today it is used to look for "terrorists" but even now members of the government are looking for their next enemy: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-jones/muslim-congressman-our-largest-domestic-threat-comes-racial-supremacist. Plus don't forget the Obama admin had the IRS harassing not just any PACs but specifically the ones opposed to him https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/irs-admits-targeting-conservatives-for-tax-scrutiny-in-2012-election/2013/05/10/3b6a0ada-b987-11e2-92f3-f291801936b8_story.html. And his admin has already called veterans, libertarians, pro-lifers, tea-party supporters, and Constitutionalists likely terrorists and enemies of the United States: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/14/federal-agency-warns-of-radicals-on-right/ & http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/16/napolitano-stands-rightwing-extremism/?page=all Taken along with the fact that Barack Obama has been a limp wristed pansy when it comes to dealing with Islamic terrorists abroad it seems the only people he feels threatened by are Americans. And small wonder he hates them. After all 121 million of them voted against him in 2 elections. However he has shown restraint at home in that he hasn't ordered the killing of any Americans on US soil, although his AG certainly asserted it would be perfectly ok if he did: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/06/us/politics/holder-explains-threat-that-would-call-for-killing-without-trial.html?_r=0. Yes he ended up walking that back but only after Rand Paul raised hell over it. So yes there is ample reason to be concerned with what this government is doing, today the enemy might be radical Islam but it doesn't mean tomorrow they won't decide the enemy is me, or any other American. As Ben Franklin said “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” And they will have neither.

Why do you guys punish yourselves by watching this? I'd rather watch a Law & Order rerun.

Spoke with my wife on the phone for 45 minutes. It started out ok but went south in a hurry. I don't react well when penance is demanded for the misdeeds of others. Reconciliation if it happens begins when both parties begin to make up for what they did wrong. But perhaps some gaps can never be closed.

I don't believe anything I read on the internet. I don't even believe a lot of things I WRITE on the internet.

From the reactions of the premiere it doesn't suck apparently. That's good. That would have been disappointing.

Ok you should know Politifact is a creation of the St. Petersburg Times and that newspaper is decidedly left of center. It is a lot closer to Mother Jones than it is to a legitimate news source. They habitually broadly construe the statements of those whose politics they disapprove of in order to apply a less than truthful rating and they also are very selective in the statements they analyze from those whose politics they like.

I just LOVE that quote Alum. I am so stealing this one.

I completely agree with you on this one. The pride of my collection has not been fired in at least 50 years. A pure show piece. It's a 1851 Colt Navy .32. For those who don't know it's a black powder cap & ball revolver. It was a common side arm for officers during the civil war. My father bought it from a man who thought it was a replica. it was rendered inoperable which of course kills the value but it has been authenticated. I built a display case for it.

I have two. One is a poem by Alexander Pope called Ode on Solitude How happy he, who free from care The rage of courts, and noise of towns; Contented breathes his native air, In his own grounds. Whose herds with milk, whose fields with bread, Whose flocks supply him with attire, Whose trees in summer yield him shade, In winter fire. Blest! who can unconcern'dly find Hours, days, and years slide swift away, In health of body, peace of mind, Quiet by day, Sound sleep by night; study and ease Together mix'd; sweet recreation, And innocence, which most does please, With meditation. Thus let me live, unheard, unknown; Thus unlamented let me die; Steal from the world, and not a stone Tell where I lie. The other is by Shakespeare. I used to think it was a poem but it's actually a line from Richard II (which obviously is one of the few I haven't read) “The setting sun, and music at the close, As the last taste of sweets, is sweetest last, Writ in remembrance more than things long past.”

An unenforceable agreement to maybe do a few voluntary things. We'll all sleep better at night now I'm sure. Oh, wait. I wasn't losing sleep over this. Well, now that we've saved the Earth, what are we going to do about the global warming of Mars? http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/02/070228-mars-warming.html After all if man made activity is responsible for what is happening here it's only logical that the increases in temperature on Mars is man made as well right?

You lost me at tofu. The rest sounds good though.

Well my good characteristics are I don't steal from the workplace. My bad would be that I drink too much and have an terrible temper. And I don't take rejection well. Just once I'd like to say that just to see the look on the interviewer's face.

Actually the way I read it Jesus was the ultimate libertarian. He asked us to help the poor, to follow Gods commandments, to give generously. He didn't ask up to vote in a government to take our money away and do that for us. He asked us to CHOOSE to do it, not be compelled to do it. Paying taxes that help the poor does me no credit because I HAD to pay the taxes. When I go into Toys R Us and by $80 of toys and take them to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drop off, that was me making a choice. I think if more folks spent time studying what Jesus was actually about they would realize how far off base many of the organized Christian denominations are. As are we all.

The answer I use is "I love this kind of work and I'm really looking forward to applying my skills to a new challenge". It's an enthusiastic tone that reassures competence by bringing up your skills and hits two of the big HR type buzzwords "forward" and "challenge".

Now THAT is f-----g awesome! You gotta post a video when you take it to the range!
