  1. What type of person would blackmail anyone over anything? There are bad people out there. As for what happened to Charlie Sheen, well acting irresponsibly often leads to unfortunate results. Now if he did have sex with people who did not know then he does deserve to be sued out of existence because that makes him the biggest scumbag of them all. Yes HIV is not the automatic death sentence it once was but it is still a permanent injury. If he is deliberately risking the lives and health of others then f--k him.
  2. The UK Daily Mail has it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3324857/Not-laughing-matter-Hillary-Clinton-campaign-demands-comedy-club-takes-video-mocking-owner-claims.html Of course this is nowhere near as despicable as John Kerry saying the Charlie Hebdo attack was justified when comparing it to what happened on Saturday. But everyone knows the left is only in favor of free speech when the approve of what is being said.
  3. Hillary Clinton is furious that some comedians made fun of her. Apparently her campaign is threatening them now. http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2015/11/clinton-goes-after-laugh-factory-comedians-for-making-fun-of-her/ Better be careful. Enemies of the Clintons end up committing "suicide" in a park somewhere.
  4. Bobby Jindal has dropped out.
  5. No! No this must not happen! This would be like Donald Trump winning the lottery http://www.sportingnews.com/nba-news/4661347-kevin-durant-warriors-free-agency-thunder-wizards-stephen-curry-golden-state
  6. Bonus points for originality Grom!
  7. I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. It's time to quit screwing around with this self medicating stuff.
  8. 3v3 in OT is ok. I didn't like it at first but it is growing on me. I'd rather see the rink size increased rather than the net. That increases the angles on the net and makes the goalie's job harder without increasing the size of the target plus it opens up more possibilities for strategies and offense which makes the game more exciting IMO. Scoring goals is all fine but the best part of hockey IMO is the 20 seconds before the puck hit's the net. The set up and execution of a perfect one timer is exciting to see. That the goals happened is just the conclusion of the story rather than the story itself. BTW the Cats swept a home and home vs the Lightning. Ekbald buried one with 20 seconds left to win 1-0. I caught the game on the radio and Doug Plagens (the pbp guy) was out of breath at the end of that one. Luongo earned his pay stopping 39 shots without a lot of help in front of him. The Ducks are next in SFL.
  9. Hahaha. You're alright Bruce. Your views are terrible but you can handle the banter. Okay but then I have no idea what type of SJ you believe in? I assumed you had similar views to me, not about Capitalism but the importance of a fair and equitable society and that would mean realistically you need to uplift people to the middle class at least So what US president do you support The difference is that liberals think welfare is the way up, but don't realize that like children people have to be pushed or else they will still be 30 without a job in their parents house playing video games. Okay good point, to be clear I don't believe in state welfare...no this is not what I would consider is sustainable or is about job creation. I doubt any Liberal in the USA would actually say this as welfare just holds people back as it gets abused? US democrats use welfare to keep blacks as their spoiled children so they keep voting Democrat and cant be bothered by anyone abusing the system. I know this for a fact because I work weekends on a supermarket and I've seen welfare cards that have 1000+ dollars in their account, meanwhile I work with people whose whole family work 2 jobs almost every day and were denied welfare. Seriously; **** welfare, It doesn't work. It is not helping the hardworking to get ahead and it is only making sure that their dollars go to help some shameless people that have no scruples cheating the system. You want to help poor people, then control government spending and get rid of sales taxes as well as some other ridiculous taxes. Orog what you suggesting is a serious indictment of how to abuse the welfare system and worse than that this type of corruption actually wouldn't benefit African Americans. It goes against everything the Democrats believe and I can't imagine is wide spread? No this is actually happening. Welfare has become less a means to aid the poor and more of a tool to ensure political loyalty. But isn't every entitlement? Bruce you have some odd ideas of what politics in general and democrats in the US specifically are really all about. Believe me, it is not a fairy tale where good intentions and wise leaders are building utopia.
  10. That probably doesn't hurt.
  11. There are very few things worse than the type of insomnia you are experiencing....and because you feel you should be sleeping you then try and because you cant you stress even more Okay my friend firstly this is not an unusual event to occur to people who have been under stress of some sort and the insomnia is often delayed which makes some almost not realize what is causing it But before you go to the doctor and receive seriously strong sleeping pills which of course you can take I would recommend something else You are not someone who normally takes medication to sleep so what I would try first is some decent cannabis, you must get some quality stuff that is grown indoors. Its called hydroponic in South Africa. All you do is put it in an empty cigarette and say 30-60 minutes before you want to sleep you take 2-3 hits, thats it. Because Weed is a plant it wont knock you out like a sleeping pill but you become drowsy and you will sleep I have been smoking weed on and off for about 15 years and its fine if you dont abuse it, of course there are some people who weed makes them feel paranoid and if that is how you feel on it then its not for you But if you get hydroponic weed I doubt you will feel paranoid Yeah that might not work for me. I have to take drug tests for work pretty regularly.
  12. Yes, if these Mosques are allowing Hate Speech then you need to close them down...harsh but fair But yet you guys complaining my country police raid a church.... Do they openly manifest hatred towards citizens of your country and talk about infidels that need to be killed and your laws forcefully changed? They create disharmony, their new version of Malaysian Bible causing too much already, despite it being banned, they insist on publish it. The raid is to confisticate those books, it's illegal books. As an American I find the combination of the words "Illegal" and "books" to be altogether alien concept. But hey, that's just how we are. Now as far as what Darkpriest pointed out that France was considering closing Mosques. Bad idea. I'm all fine and good with arresting the Imams and religious leaders who violate French law by promoting sedition (this is illegal in France) but closing the Mosque becomes an attack on the institution itself. Do not become the monsters ISIS propaganda already say's you are. They want to refight the crusades with themselves cast in the role of the "morally superior aggrieved party" and the west as the "evil crusaders". The titles are meaningless in a practical sense but as others have pointed out it becomes an automatic and effective recruiting tool. I'm not sure about this, we are talking about closing down Mosques who practice hate speech....this would be made official and clearly seen as a punishment. You do realize that of course other extremists or just other Sunni Muslims who share ideological empathy with ISIS would have prayed and been aware of this attack so they are probably celebrating now at the success of the attack ...why shoulld Mosques like this be allowed to stay open? Qistina what do you think? An eye for a eye, ISIS understands this type of dialogue This needs to be about punishing people not philosophy no matter how evil it is. You can't get into philosophical arguments with fanatics, you will lose every time. Better to just get rid of the fanatics.
  13. Trump has a history of being against everything his supporters seem to want. How he has garnered so much support isn't something I can explain. As for why Paul isn't leading I wish I knew because he is by far my preferred candidate. I can easily explain why Bush, Kasich, Christie, Huckabee, Jindal, and (insert also-ran here) are where they are. Rubio has support because he is the least distasteful of the "democrat lite " crowd. Cruz, Trump, and Carson I guess it just comes down to them not being the "same ol' same ol'" in and environment where folks are sick of the same ol' same ol'. Republicans voters held their nose and supported McCain even though they hated him. They didn't support Romney because they hated him too and for all the same reasons. They are both left wingers who believe in an all-mighty government that takes and spends whatever it wishes. If you choices are between that from a Republican or that from a Democrat why bother voting at all? I think folks are just jumping on to the other alternatives and holding on for dear life. That's my best guess as to why Carson & Trump are leading. But to tell the truth Rostere this is a US election we're talking about here. If you are looking for reasoned and rational decision making you have come to the wrong shop.
  14. Carson and Trump are viable candidates because all of the others except Cruz and Paul are "democrat lite". It's beginning to become a hard sell to people who value individual liberty and a less heavy handed government when all the candidates except those four are advocating becoming more like what their voters oppose. The truth is as long as they are presenting an alternative vision that appeals more than being subjugated by an Almighty Federal Government they will be forgiven saying things that might normally doom a candidate.
  15. Another night of no sleep. I'm going to see the doctor if this keeps up. I haven't had more than 2 continuous hours in... I can't even remember. Not unless it was chemically induced.
  16. We still on the pyramid thing? OK, I'll come back later.

Don't assume the role they want you to assume. In the words of Napoleon Bonaparte "In war, moral factors acount for three quarters of the whole; relative material strength accounts for only one quarter."
  18. Yes, if these Mosques are allowing Hate Speech then you need to close them down...harsh but fair But yet you guys complaining my country police raid a church.... Touche'
  19. I think hockey should be played 4-4 during regular time. Opens up the ice and allows skill players room to actually you know, stickhandle and pass. I'd probably prefer an international ice surface myself. Seconded.
  20. The pyramid thing again? Still? Besides I'm already feeling better knowing we have the F-35 flying submarine protecting our granaries and conjoined twins. This whole thread is becoming very confusing!
  21. Cat's beat the Bolts in Tampa last night. I caught the 3rd period & OT on my XM. Nice to get a win especially over them. Too bad it had to be in a shoot out. Denying them points is nearly as important as earning them in a division game.
  22. While I agree with this statement the problems of having a broken UN far outweigh the problems of no UN at all. The truth is most world problems solve themselves one way or another given enough time so the biggest benefit the UN provides is to stabilize things and delay rash action until they do. It is not a governing body and holds no power over sovereign states and was never meant to. It is a speed bump. Sometimes a speed bump is just what is needed. The Syrian civil war and the mess it has caused coupled with the invasion of Iraq and the mess THAT has caused are not going to solve themselves. It's fair to say the UN has failed to slow down or mitigate the problem but it's successes (within the context of it's ability) outweigh it's failures over the years.
  23. Manifested, which one are you?
  24. I would be surprised. These were guys with guns and bombs, they had resources and support. ISIS doesn't need to send fighters through the refugee lines, they have better ways to get their crazy radicals on foreign soil. The Charlie Hebdo attackers were born and raised in France. I am sure we will find out soon enough. Told you so. (Sort of). There is just something about a lot of the people in that part of the world. You extend a hand to help them but the still hate you anyway. The US saw that first hand in Bosnia and in many other places. Helping these people is like the old story of the Scorpion and the Frog. Meanwhile, nothing to worry anyone here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/syria-refugees-u-s-centres-1.3308576
  25. I agree with you. But this would not be such a hard sell if outcry against the radical BS by the "non-violent" Muslims wasn't so muted when it isn't non existent.
