Tough loss for the Cats last night. The 'hawks are hard enough to beat straight up. Even harder when you spend most of the game on PK. The road doesn't get any easier. Cats play in Dallas tomorrow.

Panthers face the Blackhawks tonight. I'll be on the porch with the game on my XM radio. Give 'em hell cats!

You must be happy as can be right now. Being a Mets fan has been a particularly miserable experience these last 10 or so years. A return to prominence must be sweet. I was pulling for the Cubs, Royals, or Jays to win it all because all three have Tampa Bay connections.

Bummer, I enjoyed watching Bochy outmanage him for all these years. Still might have the chance 9-12 games a season. The Marlins are all over him.

No argument here. But sadly there are some things once broken even the earnest love of a dog can't mend.

That is so right on. Good movies are good movies but Star Wars was something no one had ever seen the like before.

Watching the Jays/Royals game. It's tight so far

I took my dog Sunny to the vet to get her teeth cleaned. Since I didn't want to leave my other dog Tommy home alone so he & I sat on a picnic table outside Old Timers BBQ restaurant. I drank a big glass of unsweetened ice tea, he drank ice water and we split a basket of smoked brisket. No sauce for him though. Once we picked Sunny up she was intently sniffing both of us. She knew something was up!

Just played it for an hour and a half. Remember when I compared it to a ham sandwich? That was spot on.

If someone is going to boycott a movie or a book because the directors might have a political agenda they don't like they won't be seeing to many movies or reading too many books. I figure if the actors can haul the water and the story is good who cares what they look like. When the actors suck, well it doesn't doom the movie but it sure hurts (looking at YOU Hayden Christensen).

Move along, /pol/ is having a slow day and have nothing else to do than to troll the SW-universe. Am I the only one than seem to lack any interest in the new movies? Maybe I am still in heavy denial after the prequels, those emotional scars will never heal :( Hey George Lucas is out of the picture so there is at least a fighting chance it will be good.

I know I've said this before but that lightsaber the sith guy is using is just impractical as hell. There is no way he is not missing a few fingers.

I saw it during halftime of Monday Night football. Mike Tirico said "This is a moment you will never forget". Really? A movie trailer on a movie I won't even see till the directors cur comes out on DVD is that big a moment? Sheesh what a dull life HE must be leading! But it was cool though.

Thank you Grom! In my situation I have two choices, both unpleasant. But I'm not one for waffling and waiting wouldn't have made either more appealing so I made the choice and I'm dealing with what comes next. I don't have to like it, just have to do it. But I'm not above griping about it!
