When a 17 year old guy starts talking about his 90 year old girlfriend at the nursing home. When I'm in class(es) daydreaming and the teacher asks me to read the page, when the book isn't even open. When I accidentally forget to empty my pockets (that have all my writing from the past 2 weeks, all my pens, all my pencils, all my money) and put my pants in the wash and forget about it for 2 or 3 days... Man, there goes my M5 fanfiction (and about 15 dollars in pens)...

KoToR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
The Great Phantom replied to hattifnatt's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
How about Non-essential NPC's? That way you can let them rot in the cargo hold, and you won't have to worry about missing out on what the heck happened on M5, or where Revan went, etc. I mean, sure, have side-stories and quests, but don't make them essential to progress, or make them Jedi, etc. You should be able to ditch them at one point, too... Like a combo of BG and NWN style... -
KOTOR 3 - Truth or speculation
The Great Phantom replied to RobMcB's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The Exile wouldn't cut himself off from the Force again... The first time was an accident, in the first place. -
I'm not going to touch on the sexist comments by others in the last page. I read a thing on the LA website, somewhere, that Revan was canonically LS Male. The default in Kotor II is LS Male, but that is aside. They just had to start somewhere for that one. I personally think Revan is Male, and the Exile (in my mind) is too. That's just because the males in both get super bonuses and all the good extra powers. I personally wouldn't mind if, in Kotor III, female PC's get an uber bonus that the males can't get, but that hasn't really been done yet...

Anyon elooking forward to and Empire at War?
The Great Phantom replied to Valdrane's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'll probably get it, but I'll wait to see the reviews before I buy ANY LA game again (except for the ever possible Kotor III). -
How do you become a Jedi?
The Great Phantom replied to romeo_longsword's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It depends. If the galaxy is in peril, then they MAY take you. Not likely, though, unless your the ex-Dark Lord with amnesia. -
Oh, to the contrary, I'm a kind person, I go out of my way to help out people, often, pretty much whenever I can. It's just I also go out of the way to make sure that other people are always willing to help me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never said I wasn't a very kind person. Ask my friends, should you ever in some cosmic coincidence meet them. I'll always say that I won't help them, but I help them all the time, no matter what I say I'll do. I don't need other people's help. I just like messing with their heads.

I hear that BG II is equal or better than Kotor I, which is hard, imho. I don't know, though... I'm saving money for the NWN expansions, then I'll probably check out the BG series, or IWD, or both...

Gee, I wonder how long this thread will last... -

Who was the greatest lightsaber duelist

Force Ghosts require specific conditions. I'd quote the Source Book, but I'm too lazy and antagonistic to cater to another's needs right now... -
Is the Force strong enough?
The Great Phantom replied to radiohead3's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's really easy to use Force Confusion at the hordes in the End Game area, if you have an excellent Stealth skill... Then just use your most powerful Force Attack (for DS) and the last survivor in every room goes down easy. There's an art to it, though... I recommend (for DS) a Sentinel/Lord combo, because then you can look for a weakness in stealth mode, and then fry them all in one or two Lightnings and stealth again before the other room knows what's going on... If you want me to teach you the 'art' of letting the Sith Code do its work, let me know. -
Classic... Well, I see a future of much spamming... And so, the nomads move on, to find another thread to use.

KOTOR 3 - Truth or speculation
The Great Phantom replied to RobMcB's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I can accept that comprimise, Plano Skywalker. All I can ask for is closure, but then the series can go wherever for all I care, really... -
Yeah, you can stay 'neutral' in the game. The mechanics allow for that. I'm just tired of people assuming that since it's in Kotor I or II, then all of SW is that way. I just assume that people think this way... Sorry, I'm just mad because now I have to rewrite a healthy portion of my NWN module story to accomadate a twist in the Storyline... Oh, well, I'm almost close to being done... I'll shut up now... (Go ahead. I wanna hear you all sing Hallelujah's and Hossanahs, etc... BTW, who was Hossana??? )

Sorry for any misunderstanding. I have said it as such on all the other places I post the theory, but I'm getting lazy... -
Who was the greatest lightsaber duelist
The Great Phantom replied to RoadReaction's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Maul was good, but he was too brash to fight uber good. I voted Anakin, just because he is cool when he gets mad... That and I'm bored... -
Well, if the Exile wanted to know what N's Face looked like, then all he/she'd have to do is look, right? I think he/she wanted to know what Visas saw. That's one dialogue option, so... That means that Visas sees their 'true nature'... Or, she was on Juma Juice... Or Death Sticks... Or Spice... Or Gizka urine... Wow, SW has a lot of narcotic substances...

Actually, Jedi are neutral. They don't take sides. The 'grey Jedi' are called such because they're too 'weak' to be a Sith, and they broke the Code in one way or another (or got sick of all the rules and hypocritisism) and left the Jedi. They're HUMAN JEDI. I just am sick of people just assuming that there's a Grey Side. Every Jedi Master in SW History (including many Sith) say that you have to pick a side, or you're forced onto one. I wasn't dropped on my head. I 'tripped' last year...

"The Sith now rule the galaxy...
The Great Phantom replied to Darth Jebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I said "for all intents and purposes". So, as far as Kotor I suggests, the Sith DID invent the disease. I never tried to pass it off as a fact. Do a search for those words, and you will find that wherever I state this, I say that it is ONLY a possibility (albeit a quite strong one). -
My idea for a cRPG StarWars video game
The Great Phantom replied to Valdrane's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'd be thankful, actually. That way people don't start spamming and talking crap and whatnot... -
Oh, and I'm much more of a Wizard than a Fighter, myself. I can't see me as anything resembling a brute, but I can see myself quite well as a scrawny person that uses their mind (and talents associated with such) to fight... Maybe I'm an idealist...
