Them I'd def. go with Accuracy. Paladin's base is 20 and you have low PER, on PotD opponents have really high deflection. Not to mention two handers are slow enough already, combine that with heavy armor, your low DEX and the speed penalty of VA and you'll hit (I mean graze) once every blue moon. Valid point but I Cant totally agree there. I realize Paladin has crap base ACC but I do have Zealous Focus AND a Superior Weapon. My accuracy is only 6 behind Eder. with the FoD +20 ACC I don't miss graze much if ever with it. Its a Hit or a Crit. I am usually using a shield so I only really use the 2hander to help burst an opponent or when I am not being heavily targeted. The VA penalty isn't as harsh on Plate users as they already have the % 50 recover time.

Accuracy UI issues are fixed. I just started the White March for the first time and the only Soulbound Weapon I have is the Grey Sleeper. The icon is a grey Estoc.

What would be more advantages for my Paladin. Hes a tank pretty much but is capable offensively thanks to good Alpha Strikes from FoD and great back up 2handed weapon. Currently using the Grey Sleeper (I souldbound it to myself by mistake lol and just finished the quest). Whats better Weapon Focus Adventurer or Vulnerable Attack? I was thinking Vulnerable because my Paladin only has 12 Might. Maybe he gets better use out of the -10 DR total he will be getting? I know Arquebus an Arbalest have better top end but I like keeping engagements as the AI tends to stick to him more.

Appreciate the work!

Well this fight has been my closes call by far on my Ironman run. The Lagufaeth's army with the 2 Brood Mother's were really tough. Also those Sidewinders can really put the hurt on with their sneak attacks when you are debuffed. I loved the fight. I was eventually victorious but it was one hell of a fight. Pictured here is my crew after the fight. You can see my Coup de Grace Flames of Devotion with Firebrand on the Brood Mother. It was a climatic end to the fight for sure. Aloth got the worst of it as I had to run him forward a bit so that he could confuse the backline Sidewinders. Had to throw him a Reviving Exhortation once as he got it bad even with the good deflection buffs up..but he made it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4gm7plbu4n28geo/Screenshot%202015-09-22%2002.06.20.png?dl=0

problems with 'council of the stars'
Torm51 replied to varguspike's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Secondly, did you upgrade this saved game from an older patch or was this a clean run with 2.01 being the patch that was installed from the start. Lastly, are you running any mods. -

Ok read the top of the forum so they can be quicker about fixing your issues. Get a free dropbox account and link your saved games in there on the forums. Also a link of your output log would help. -

Fire Godlike Battle forged?
Torm51 replied to wanderon's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Bug. Odd one, too. But hey, at least it doesn't cause some kind of infinite recursive self-damage loop. Well that could lead to some interesting roleplay - maybe a priest with a hair shirt of misery... Put it on the Bug forums I know its a bug for sure. Happen to me with a Firegodlike I made before I scrapped him for other reasons. The self damage wouldn't bother me because he was a durable frontliner but still its not working as intended. Seems to another 2.01 bug/ -
Gamebreaking BUG Od Nua 13
Torm51 replied to Zoddo's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Dude your post was from April. I know I have done the Endless paths in their entirety a lot and after the date if your post have not encountered this. If you still have that saved game from April you just need to start over. Its a great game just start over. That was months ago. -
About max level - EXP cap
Torm51 replied to Sethanon's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I don't agree at all. I like that I get to experience my FULL build for more then 5 minutes and the end boss fight. Its what bothered me about the Dragon Age Series. What I planned in my full build was irrelevant as I would only be playing the game with that build for the last few hours. All that mattered was how I leveled in the middle levels because thats where the meat the game was. I like that I can max level early in POE and play my full planned build for a long time. Lastly, if there is an infinite level cap there is very little point to any build because you can get everything. Yes attributes will change your game play experience but don't have an impact like talents/skills. -
'Nothing pulls the fat out of the fire better than a Wizard with a full Grimoire." Couldn't of said it better myself. Just had a fight against Leyndra (the Blood Mother in Heritage Hill) I thought I was out of range from her scream but wasn't so Durance, Sagani and Aloth went down. Was just Me (Paladin), Pallegina and Eder up. I had Reviving Exhortation and Durance does not have a rez yet. Who did I revive? Aloth. Full grimore, blinde, Miasma debuffed the Cean Gwla, Flames of Devotion to her face and shes dead. Funny you said that cause that is exactly what I was thinking of. I

A single use of LoH will heal more and do it faster than Unbending. Plus you can use LoH twice per encounter. Add in Greater LoH and the comparison becomes laughable. The only real synergy with any of the classes and going below 50% endurance is the Barbarian, but he is not on the list. Correct. In my opinion LoH is the BEST single target heal in the game. Unbending is a good tool but if we are comparing Fighter and Paladin and talking Endurance restoration its not even a discussion. Once you spec Greater Lay on Hands it turns a great heal even more great. Honestly I find Lay on Hands in Dragon fights to be better then any priest heal. Most priests are not made to be a frontliner (although they can be) and there 5m range heal makes them get perilously close to the dragon. This will invoke a tail swipe that will murder them instantly. A Paladin as a frontliner can stand toe to toe with a Dragon and be able to heal himself or a melee party member in range.
