  1. Do you run Charge? I have a melee heavy frontline very similar group and do find myself not really having to move as much which does reduce the effectiveness of Zealous Charge. It is good to have if things go wrong but they haven't lol. Maybe I should respect into endurance. Running Charge and Focus with 2 paladins atm.
  2. One more thing. Am I the only one that takes Zealous Charge? I know you miss out on the other 2 that are GREAT but I am finding that Charge gives your party great flexibility should things go wrong with your front line on difficulties like PoTD where there are A LOT of enemies and this could happen. Granted if your front line holds its doing nothing but you always have a flexibility option of moving fast and repositioning should something go wrong. It is especially good if you take 2 paladins as the other can take focus or endurance. If you only take one paladin I can see the skip.
  3. Obviously if you go for the RP that you stated it would work for sure.
  4. I love the build other then 8 con. This is a frontliner and with the deflection reductions across the board you are going to get hit a lot more since perception no longer effects deflection. You can go with an 8 Con and be OK but you will be resting a lot. Also when you go down Poison Alley (That's what I call the area east of Dyrford) where almost every mob you fight on the way has poison (attacks your Fort and does raw damage) which will crit you because of the lowish (Faith and Con no doubt helps) Fort. Lastly, rogue npcs use their raw Damage DoT all the time. About halfway through the game they will be using it and you will be fighting a lot of rogues. a lot. More raw damage to your low health.

  6. Ya that would be Confusing. You are giving 10 deflection to allies. Make sure it does or report it. The character sheet should read allies + 10 Def etc. It's not supposed to give you 10 Def either way.
  7. Its not supposed to. Re read the ability. It provides allies within range +10 Def
  8. First character ever on Hard: Moon Godlike/Aedyr/Paladin/Shieldbearers of St Elcga/Clergyman (Beat the game zero deaths..its on hard so it was easy) First PoTD character trial of iron: Coastal Aumau/Rautai/Paladin/Goldpact Knight/Mercenary (Killed by the Master Below, I messed up the fight) Started over a bunch of times optimizing since then... Current PoTD character trial of iron: Coastal Aumau/Rautia/Paladin/Kind Wayfarer/Scholar Uh.. I like Paladins
  9. Does this work at all? It just seems that Vicious Aim and Pen shot together would be a super slow attack rate especially with a Warbow that has an average speed. Has anyone tried this? Is the 5 armor Pen worth the slower rate of fire? Should I have taken Swift Aim with a Warbow instead? I find it hard to spec Vicious Aim with Bow rangers as that means taking Pen shot makes you super slow right? Forcing you to use a hunting bow?
  10. If the second one sounded trolly I am sorry. Tennis my bad. Didn't mean too. I actually meant if there was an issue please show us. If you have the proof we need it on the tech support forums.
  11. Well please enlighten us. What is it that you see that makes you say it doesn't work. I must be missing something.
  12. You are getting to be a troll man. There are quite a few bugs in the game yes. Especially after 2.01 but I know for a FACT that mental fortress and the other defense talents are not bugged as I continually check the combat log when I have those talents in order to ensure that they are working properly. If you actually do think its bugged head over to the tech support forums and POST a drop box file with a saved games of yours. You never do. Like everyone has said mental fortress does not make you immune to mind controls it just shifts the dice 10% in your favor.
  13. Yep, i know that reflexes are bad. But we just can't dump MIG, like fighters or other tank-oriented classes. This build is a good leader\tank-buffer build anyway, it's what OP asking for. I wouldn't dump Might either. You cant now and he wants perception. I just don't think for a Paladin that dumping is a good deal anymore. What hes asking for can be done but you will sacrifice in the Fort Department and Health/Endurance. and Con plays a much bigger role now as you cant stack deflection. You get hit more.
  14. I have been using Zealous Charge lately as I really like the flexibility it gives you to disengage and move your party but I have noticed that RARELY like it will happen about 5 times in a week and I play about 1 or 2 hours a day (yes I get no sleep hah).. What will happen is that instead of the aura kicking ASAP as soon as combat starts the icon of Zealous Charge is in a global cooldown state. After it is done with the cool down it will kick in 2 to 3 seconds later. Most of the time it works perfectly. If you turn Charge OFF and manually select it at the start of every fight it NEVER does it. dropbox link below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/am0bc4tsed6rqs0/636d2b0de18d44ae8f478bd6f1860a37%209090967%20BlackMeadow.savegame?dl=0
  15. Dumping both Dex and Per would give you an absolutely terrible reflex defense.
  16. You cant cast Liberating Exhortation on a charmed Ally.
  17. Hey thanks for the work. Suppress Affliction is doing the same. It does the same for Petrify. Also if you check for paralyze and stuck sometimes it WILL get them out of the debuff just not right away.
  18. Rock out. Thanks again. Appreciate the work. You guys must be SWAMPED..
  19. I definitely think Ixamitl will be cool. How Aztec it is I do not know the people definitely are but I am quite (maybe I am wrong) that mexico has very little to no savannas.
  20. Ya but although it has been recently updated that WIKI tends to be really wrong about stuff
  21. Is it -20 or -10? I am at work so I cant check in game...ya I am bored at work.
  22. The only class that really stacks VERY high against Charm/Dominte is Paladin. Most builds on a Paladin have a high Will defense because of their stats (most take either Int or Res and on defensive support builds both), Faith and Conviction and most Paladins take Righteous Soul which will add more will defense by end game most enemies either will not bother or if you force them to just fight you and bait the mind control attack it will either miss or graze you at most. Monks also do well against mind control. With other classes it is best to offensively avoid it by CCing and eliminating the target.
  23. Personally the Aumau to me look Pacific Islander and have that feel.
  24. Suppress Affliction? Does not work.... you still get paralyzed on hit. For the last time the sell does not work that way. it suspends EXISTING debuffs. If you have Suppress Affliction on an ally and he gets hit AFTER you casted it on him he will still get paralyzed if he does not make a save. Granted Suppress Affliction and Liberating Exhortation are not perfect in that with a few debuffs they do not immediately relive the character of the effect. That is another issue I placed in the bug forums. The spells work properly when used properly except for a few occasions where they seem to have delayed affects.
