The Handmaiden is da bomb! Sorry for going 90's style lingo. I don't know what the kiddies' be saying nowadays. Back to business. The Handmaiden, once she becomes a Jedi, can whup butt and still be delicate and vulnerable. She is also willing to shove Women RIghts out the door and dance for a Hutt. Who couldn't love such an aggressive, amazonian, and yet willing to please her man, video game character? :D

Yes. Obsidian did a great job. KoTOP os still my favorite, as is Revan. However I cannot deny that this game has interesting concespts. The death of the force; losing the Force? Considering this was a year's worth of development, they did a bang-up job. The cut-content really hurt them with the fans. But I'm sure the fully developed version may have swayed my vote to KoTOR 2. I'll never know. This is my first Obsidian game, and only my fourth RPG game. So my opinion probably means squat to you vets. :D

You guys/gals bring up a good point. How long did it take the Emperor to call it the Death Star? If I build a gigantic black ball, I'm likely to call it The Iron Planet.

All I remember is that he was killed by Revan. In KOTOR 1, wasn't there a Yusani's sheild?

I don't know if this is a glitch. but the Handmaiden, I turned her into a Dark Jedi Guardian. After I did that I noticed she gained no XP while the rest of the NPC's were. However when I took her with me , she gained XP. I ran back to the KSE to give her XP equalling to Atton, the other Dark Jedi. So for the Dxun Tomb, I of course chose her and she gained XP like normal. But I kept having to KSE her some XP's. Or keep her in my party, which was detrimental to my gaining influence with other NPC's. Wierdly enough, things got back to normal after I did Korriban. There she was waiting to be levelled up, equally with the other NPC's. So does this happen normally. Or is it a glitch.

I guess that's what a darkside Mira looks like. Thankfully I had an Autosave to bail me out. I think these things happened because I ran out of HD space, so my savegames were corrupted.

Ed Asner did a great job as Vrook. I really hated him.

Just to say something in the defense of Vrook ... no. From what I have gathered from KotOR I, he would have had Revan rot in a cell instead of setting him on a new mission to re-discover the Star Forge. He was the only one who actually opposed to Revan being (re-)trained as a Jedi ... he would never have given Revan a second chance, unlike the others. I think that Master Vandar Tokare (the Yoda-looking Jedi Master from KotOR I) could always overrule Vrook's opposition. But now, with Vandar lost on Katarr, Vrook runs loose ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah. Vrook was free to be a poo poo head. Why did Master Vandar hav e to die. The Jedi became dumb with his death. Too bad Vandar died. Long Live Mater Vandar!

I posted this on another thread. It was my first DS foray. I lost Atton Rand. He was replaced by a LS Bao Bur. So I had a DS & LS Bao Dur. Secondly, whenever I entered the Ebon Hawk, the Bao Dur I had by the workbench added by 1. Finally I couldn't go to Korriban because there was no Atton Rand. 1. Darth Sion - He shows strength and weakness. So human. You can actually weaken him by shaking his confidence. As in real life. He is jealous of the Exile and his master's relationship. Too bad he didn't have more lines. 2. Mandalore - He's a freaking Mandalorian. He got skills. And on the Ravager, he walks through the fire. So cool. 3. Bao Dur - The hippie. The weed smoker of the group. So cool and laid back, you almost forget he's there. He's haunted by a past he can't let go.

Before I ever got the game, that was what I read. That Nihilus was easily taken down. I thought he waould have an impact. He's not boss quality. It's strange that the poster boy is so limited in term of development. I'm not going to bash OE. There's too much of that already. But Nihilus was shocking. I was wishing he was Revan. Instead we learn little of him and from him.

It's one of those quests that can't be completed.
