  1. I decided to play Pathfinder Kingmaker I have never played any of the Owlcat games so I I know nothing about the IP, mechanics or ruleset Im about 6 hours into this game and I can tell its going to be a fantastic PC " Table-top " rules based RPG experience It reminds me of D&D which is obvious because I assume some of the Pathfinder mechanics are similar? And since D&D is my favourite ruleset that works for me I am still learning a lot and I have adopted the TB combat system and because this is my first playthrough I selected Gimar as a pre-made protagonist. I generally always choose magic users anyway

  2. So, is he, like, trying to get stuffed in a box by his tech-bro handlers? 32% tariff on Taiwan. Woof.

  3. It's a pvpve game, so whatever. Will never play it.

  4. Yeah, no, it's real. Split into several parts though, so maybe the joke will be that he'll release one part per year, for a decade.

  5. Hey. Surprise of the decade. If you ever wondered if the world's really going to end, here's proof that it will: I don't even...

  6. Much appreciated. Quite a bit of conflicting info out there.

  7. Police Quest SWAT. Brilliant copaganda, especially from the LAPD in the 90s Awful game though, amazing they shipped it with you doing the same 3 calls over and over. Well, at least SWAT 3 and 4 came from this.

  8. 1. Nope 2. As long as you are under 50% health It has no duration on its own (that's the case in PoE, but not Deadfire) - and it has no limit in terms of "X/encounter". It has the same requirements that "Blooded" of the Barbarian or "Heating Up" of the Streetfighter have: as soon as you drop below 50% health it turns on - and as soon as you go over 50% it's off.

  9. Yeah, I played a bit of Indy on my PC and realized this will look a lot better on my TV. I'm excited for the PS release.

  10. One of the requirements for his role was " put on weight " https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2021/aug/28/north-water-bbc-amc-colin-farrell-stephen-graham-jack-oconnell-andrew-haigh " Drax’s sheer presence on the page demanded a startling physical transformation from Farrell. “Colin reminds me of Bluto from Popeye,” Graham observes accurately. “A colossus, a monster of a man.” Farrell, all brawn and heft, explains: “I ate a lot and lifted some heavy weights. I looked at Victorian boxers and dockers, trying to get the belly and the muscle. It was not done under the supervision of medical professionals at all and was really ill advised.”

  11. I rather liked this article from TechPowerup. Just the right amount of vaguely plausible. All those missing ROPs from the 5000 series must have gone somewhere, surely, so why not onto other cards? (Obviously in the real world Jensen would have flogged them off as 5090Ti and at a premium, so not all that plausible)

  12. Incidentally, the pillar of gaming journalism, PC Gamer, listed Age of Wonders 4: Giant Kings as an April Fool's joke, because they couldn't be bothered to actually check releases and simply decided everything today is a lie. They have since corrected their article.

  13. I'd say The North Water is a horror series, just not a supernatural one. Not as much so as The Terror for sure though. Took me a while to work out who Colin Farrell was playing, basically unrecognisable from his early self.

  14. I mean race doesn't make a big difference anyway. Orlan is totally fine. Little guy, big fists is cool.

  15. I believe it wasn't possible to fix this with a mod. Iirc the problem is located in a part of the game logic that's hard-coded (so to speak). But maybe I misremember. Anyway: it's not fixed with the CP afaik. Imo human is the best race for a Forbidden Fist. You get bonus Resolve and you will drop below 50% health often enough bc. of the FF curse etc., so Fighting Spirit gets triggered often.

  16. I'm making some guides for my blog. I would like to share some findings. Damage multipliers were on wiki already. The rest was easy to calculate.

  17. I have very fond memories of playing Raptor: Call of the Shadows, but it's been 30 years, how has the gameplay nodaways? Guess there's not overly much you can do with shoot-em-ups, controls-wise, so it probably still plays well enough. Not sure I want to replay it, it was pretty tough to beat even before 30 years of reflex and response time degredation.

  18. The only thing I hated about Owlcat's Pathfinder games and what ultimately stopped me from playing them is the overabundance of stat reducing effects, Almost every enemy reduces your stats each time they blink at you.
