Gaza - War does not determine who is right - only who is left

https://www.anews.com.tr/middle-east/2024/05/21/hamas-calls-out-icc-for-equating-executioner-with-victim No its not about their losses, they outraged because the ICC issued them with warrants " Hamas has criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC) for "equating the executioner with the victim" after it sought arrest warrants for leaders of the Palestinian resistance group. In a statement on Telegram on Monday, Hamas requested the ICC to issue arrest warrants for all Israeli war criminals and cancel those against the Palestinian group " -

I dont think Hamas is playing the victim over their losses, I think they are referring to the mountain of dead Palestinian civilians. -

If Avowed+The Outer Worlds 2 are gonna underperform, MS will delegate Obsidian to do Fallout franchise product for eternity anyway -- and inXile to handle the spinoffs and crossovers. Just think about it: Fallout: Beverly Hills. Fallout: Shanghai. Fallout: Escape From New York. Fallout: Cyrodiil. Fallout: Vault 1. The demand is obviously there, right now more than ever due to the show. But kids that were made when Bethesda gave birth to the the last main game are close to finishing elementary school. And cycles like that aren't going to come down, at least on the blockbusting tier. That is, unless every company expands to have a thousand employees -- Starfield was started in 2015. It's not their, pardon me, vault! Off-topic: I can totally see the attraction of people like Raphael Colantonio (CEO and founder of Arkane Studios) leaving that market and starting anew with a smaller company doing smaller games...

What are you Playing Now? - Right Now at the moment edition
BruceVC replied to melkathi's topic in Computer and Console
I completed EOB3 after about 30 hours I enjoyed it more than EOB2, the game started off terrible but it gets better as you progress. In the beginning you start off hacking trees in the forest and I thought " this is not fun" but once you get to the main dungeons it really improves. And there was a real problem with my sound on an early dungeon level. The background noise was this constant ringing but that seemed to go away once I left the level but it was so annoying I nearly stopped playing and disabling the sound ruins immersion But what I appreciated is there were tips to puzzles and you could basically find everything you needed on the same level, you just needed to explore which is fine. The combat felt unbalanced at times, most enemies you could defeat easily except for earth elementals and these iron scorpions called Scaladars. The game has some improved features that help in combat where you can configure your whole party to attack at once and if you using long weapons like a Pole Arm then you party in the second row can attack without missile weapons. And this makes a noticeable difference The game design did a job of providing you with several "healing oasis " if you dont have a healer and it also allowed some strategic NPC to join your party which made a difference to my overall combat effectiveness The final battle with the Dark God was incredibly easy, I defeated him the first time with no save scumming and I was expecting another EOB2 Dran battle but it wasnt like that. I just moved away from him when he cast spells and I killed him after about 4-5 rounds EOB3 gets a well deserved 62/100 on the globally respected " BruceVC game rating system" and its worth playing I have now played the whole EOB series and EOB1 was my preferred game because it captures the overall classic dungeon explorer experience in the best way I am going to have my normal genre break from these classic SSI games but the games I will play next from a Gold Box perspective is going to be Forgotten Realms Collection 2 which includes the Pools of Radiance and other similar games -

Thats really interesting, this is the type of scientific research that feeds the inane and selective conspiracy theories about " the US can control the weather " and if its not the US then its the deep state\Jews\CIA it just depends on a persons bias or the type of conspiracy theory And Im not joking about this, I have heard in South Africa that view and you would assume people would ask " why doesn't the US just use this machine to ensure it doesn't have extreme weather "

Im also surprised they took so long to issue\apply for warrants for Hamas leadership, you would have assumed they would have applied for the warrants much quicker considering the immediate crimes that were committed on 7 October that are indisputable apart from the deliberate mass murder of Israeli citizens. The taking of hostages is a war crime so why the delay from the ICC? Anyway better late than never, I wonder if Hamas or the Palestinians are going to enforce the warrant on the 3 x Hamas leaders because Gaza falls under ICC jurisdiction? -

Pet and their inventory disappeared
Hunter Zhu replied to Suddzy's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I find this bug may happen if you go underwater with your pet and die several times. It's seems like when die in water, pets have chance to disconnect from player(can't see pet icon in inventory page but still can see in game). If player can find back their pet and reconnect it then everything is ok. But there's a high chance pet will stuck in object due to the serious module bug in present version. In this case, player will permanently lose their pets unless reload data before dead and lost connect with pets. I find this after losing my black and fire ant baby and several materials. Hope fix this soon -

My first finger pointing would have been Mossad, but Isreali resources are a bit tied up at the moment. Who knows, sometimes accidents do happen and helicopters crashing is not an unknown thing. Wasn't it Polands leader that ended up in a plane crash, where everybody were speculating about who could be behind it until it turned out that he was just impatient together with a pilot that didn't dare standing up to his "boss"?

Queen of Outer Space & the 80s Flash Gordon make a great double bill. Been awhile since I'd seen either, and thought they worked well together. In other news, full trailer for Osgood Perkin's LONGLEGS:

Gaza - War does not determine who is right - only who is left

Article 63 of the Rome Statute states that "the accused shall be present during the trial". So they cannot do anything in absentia. Indeed, that article is titled 'Trial in the Presence of the Accused', so it's not really something that can be got around. This was pretty much the absolute minimum the ICC could do to keep any shred of credibility; and it is only applying for arrest warrants. A step they, of course, skipped when it came to Putin. Still utterly ridiculous that Israel can outright kill more than 10k children yet Putin 'kidnapping' 'a few hundred' is considered genocide by Karim Khan and sufficiently worse than killing those 10,000+ to justify skipping the application step. Someone might want to update Lindsey Graham on what all the protests in Israel were about up until October 7. Hint: they were about Netanyahu, well, removing the independence of the judiciary. -

I suppose they will be tried in absentia. It will be interesting to see if that does anything to change perception. -
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part VII
ShadySands replied to bugarup's topic in Computer and Console
I haven't been able to get into a Larian game since Dragon Commander. I wish them the best but something about their games doesn't click with me. There's a lot of combat in the game, maybe too much, but for me it doesn't grate like it does in a game like DA2 where almost every single fight is against waves from multiple directions. Which also why I loathed MechWarrior 5. Another part of the fun for me is taking terrible classes and figuring out how to make them not just viable but OP. I also like tinkering with stuff, modding in some custom archetypes and doing my own tweaks. I know I'm weird. -
I'm hoping there can be some kind of agreement made for Obsidian to assist in creating another Fallout game. Make it a small story related to the current timeline. Maybe a distant brotherhood group or a defected enclave unit. Or how about a different perspective on the events of Vault 0 and Vault 99? Maybe even help produce a part in a Netflix series connecting the story of BIGMT. (Which we all will happily pay for).

Given the US will not stand for this, I would wage they could visit any signatory and nothing'll be done. Especially in a state as servile to the US as Canada is. Well he's not calling for airstrikes yet. -
