  2. That actually sounds awesome. A flat-world sandbox where you can build everything yourself would fit Grounded 2 really well. And the new creatures you mentioned - frogs, ladybugs, a lizard boss - would make the game way more fun. I'd definitely try a mode like that.
  3. because I'm a sucker for beautiful voices (all subjective of course)
  4. A "**** you" to the devs who thought waiting until December 2nd before announcing that the "fall" update won't be out another 3 months. You suck, Obsidian.
  5. In other news, watched THE RAGE: CARRIE 2 an RITUAL. Both flawed films, both with thi gs to recommend besides those flaws, and both probably could have been better with more work at the script stage.
  6. In first person POV Inez dialogue bubble does not disappear after all chat options are exhausted. Bug presented after the dialog box first appeared. I see two thin yellowish boarder lines appear and disappear, seemingly randomly, but in the same sequence (bottom and right boarder lines only). No other characters have this issue. The dialogue bubble remains in 3rd person POV. The Dialog bubble disappears in idle camera mode (both when left idle unintentionally and when idle camera is selected in the pause screen). Tried taking a picture. Not sure if it uploaded. Great game. Yall getting some negative press because people are not bothering to build a relationship with the character and exploring the world Obsidian built. When playing the game, I am reminded of how I use to listen to a new album drop. If I sat with the album a bit, I began to develop a relationship with the artist intention. In the process my appreciation grew with time and how I experienced the music evolved because I learned new ways to think about how the album came together. This is what yall got here. In my opinion. I am hoping that both DLC comes out and new features are released. Til then, I’ll do my part and report bugs.

  8. Same thing. I've been checking every day since November 12th to see if a patch has been released.
  9. Had to install Windows 11 on an external drive to get Anno 117 to save games...
  10. Hey! I know it’s been weeks since you posted this, but I just ran into the same issue. Figured I’d reply with my fix, in case anyone else has been scouring the internet for an answer like we were. First, I had Aza and Marisol in my party. Don’t know how much that affects it, but Marisol did warp inside the room. Don’t know if anyone else would do the same thing. Throw a Distraction Device as close to the door as you can. This made the Cultist hostile and get so close to the door that my companions could attack him. My attacks didn’t do anything, but they killed him eventually. This at least lets you progress Aza’s quest, though you still won’t be able to get into the room.
  11. Maybe he will fall out of a second floor window near the Russian embassy?
  12. The "Fall" update is now a "Winter" update.
  13. I thought this problem had resolved itself, but when I return to Golden Ridge it returns.
  14. ^ Ok I finally found one of those 15+ hr videos re: the story questing (vs long reviews/should you buys/guide to, et al). To me it looks like most grunt combat you could mostly brute force if you felt like it, or avoid entirely (example: keep running and click on quest things fast enough to trigger cutscenes before enemies can engage), but bosses seem pretty "souls like." Lot of optional bosses one doesn't have to do, of course, too, but story bosses same mechanics. There is a story-mode difficulty and an "on screen parry prompt" option, but doesn't sound like it tones things down a lot if you're wanting to mostly story/explore. Although they could change this later. So think I'll wait a few months and see what they do/change with the US/international version of this game. Another one of those "wish it was/had an offline/SP version" because that aspect looks great (I'd even pay vs. free to have one). But then they couldn't deluge you with "buy this costume" menus. Or that yacht for super whales.
  15. Happy Holidays Grounded friends! This month we are releasing the first of our "Feature Updates". If you missed our Developer Fireside Chat Stream last month, Game Director Chris Parker and Executive Producer Marcus Morgan announced that we will be introducing "Feature Updates" during Grounded 2's development in Early Access. Feature Updates will be smaller updates that focus on but not limited to, tech, performance, and new gameplay mechanics, such as the return of Coziness and the new and improved PEEP.R 2K. In the future, we will also be opening Feature Updates into the Public Test Beta as we want to get your help with trying out new features and getting your feedback. 16. Yesterday
  17. I'm not really the most clued into the balance of Deadfire, but I enjoyed my playthrough with it for the most part. It is also modular, so if a change isn't to your liking you can delete .gamedatabundle associated with it, or just use the fix for this bug and nothing else. The file for it is: gn.items.bonus_to_non_scaling_passive_ajamuut_and_stun_bugfix.gamedatabundle
  18. I had the same issue. I cleared out Spireton before agreeing to help Auntie. I went back to Spireton and met their soldiers who said something like 'wow why'd you clear it out without us? oh well, we will take the credit' so it seemed like I was good anyways. When I used the console to activate the lifts, no one came up. I went back to the bottom and talked to them and I just have a [Leave] option and they still don't come back up. I did not have high enough speech to do the truce and went with Auntie's Choice. I fixed the archive and resolved the personality conflict to all Yellow screens for Aunties Choice and talked to the Archive again and I can't interact with the Archive anymore. The "Recall Order for the Trifurcated Brain" objective still says "Secure the Archive for Auntie's Choice" "The Archive is badly damaged..." like the original post. When I went back to my ship, VAL told me about Horizon Point. I figure this is all going to be bad endings anyways so I'll probably give up anyways.
  19. thanks for sharing. did you try this mod? what do you think - does it really bring balance?
  20. You don't understand. This guy is one of the top dogs. The people who got zeroed were lowly peasants. That's the difference.. they want to shoot the peasants, but not anyone above as long as they are rich or important in some way.
  21. I feel you.. and a vague Idea when the next Patch will drop would be great. With no date in sight i Check obsessivley several Times a day for a new Patch.. its frustrating and exhausting.
