  1. Past hour
  2. They pointed out a camera on one of the halftracks (tanks) early in the walk, IIRC. But that was about the extent of it in the film. Also, IIRC, the novel had 100+ walkers, they would walk through towns/larger areas more often, with lots of side-fans/watchers, cameras, adding to the audience spectacle/sport-event of it. The decision to only have that slightly at the end wasn't a great one, imo. I wish they'd kept the watermelon-tossing man in there. Edit: also, Stebbin's chr. was given short shrift in the film. He was really important/influential in novel.
  3. It felt pointless to me. They were saying that stuff is being broadcasted on TV, but you never see any cameras or anything. Dunno what to think about the movie... I guess it wasn't terrible, but I also never ever want to see it again.
  4. I hope this is fixed soon. Game is unplayable and I’m gonna have to shelve it until it’s fixed. Can’t fast travel out of the quest location. My last auto save doesn’t take me back enough and my last manual save file is 14 hours ago (I’m going to be manually saving a lot more after this!)
  5. Teddy's Haven (a fantasy shop simulator type game) - early access, single person dev, asset pack flip use I assume. Dev does small updates very frequently, like adding a new shop item, performance tweaks, other things. Recently he placed a giant new door into a rockface, purpose unknown. They've set it up where updates shouldn't require a new start, which is great. Haven't really played a "shop simulator" game before. They all mostly looked kinda boring/static, plus I don't care about being a mechanic or power wash or lawn care business. This one caught my attention because of the smallish "outside/world map" aspect, and cats and stuff. It has one of those (over time) repetitive loops (get resources to make stuff to sell/expand shop), and as you unlock/purchase more upgrades/crafting the loop becomes more interesting/fun. So it's charming, a bit funny, the fact you're not locked into a shop/can explore the small world is initially rewarding, and it's possibly the coziest of no pressure coziest. No time pressure, no combat, etc. There's no real challenge or boundaries (this is on purpose), it's a vibe, a design/deco shop layout, busy work. So it's been perfect for my current zone-out brain. Would I recommend it to the regulars of this forum? Nah. I mean, if such is your thing, it's a pretty good time waster. And it's cute. And has cats. And penguins, goats, giraffes occasionally show up to buy your wares, because I guess animals occasionally need a good dagger or two - which is funny. And you can buy this tiny Oreling, feed it excess stone, and it'll grow, and grow, and grow.....I'm still wondering if it has a size limit.
  6. This bug is game breaking, I can't progress at all anymore. Niles has the speech bubble but I can't talk to him and I can't do anything to more forwards. Please fix this.
  7. Today
  8. Apparently, Titans Quest 2 has decided, since they released Act2, that it warranted an Early Access price hike - from $29.99 to $34.99. Makes me guess when Act3 is added, it'll go up to $39.99. Does that mean at full release it'll be $49.99? I'm glad I bought it first thing, because while I'm interested to find out what it ends up as, I'm not that interested. Price hikes in the middle of early access feels odd to me, but the times, I guess. I haven't even played the early-access versions yet, outside of checking to see if it would run "ok" (it did).
  9. Rented The Long Walk I think it's about as good as you're going to get (S. King (shorter) novel adaptation). It actually wasn't too bad. Even as someone who's read the novel countless times (one of my fave King bits), the changes they made to characters/ending were ok, because in some sense the ending and chrs. are rather interchangeable anyway, although I liked the more ambiguous ending of book better (kinda like The Mist in that sense). The actors were pretty good, with one or two standouts. But it was all kind of dull. Not surprising - without inner monologue of a novel, it's just a bunch of dudes walking and walking, occasionally talking/bonding, with moments of sudden (and pretty graphic) violence. I didn't get the huge sense of bond/loss from the film like I did with the book. Again, not unexpected. If one hasn't read the novel tho, it might be more affecting. Anyway - for a book adaptation (and a King one at that, haha), maybe a 6/10.
  10. I don’t have access to that floor even though I’ve done every mission for both parties.
  11. Finished the last mission of Pacific Drive. Had to do the game in small bits due to motion sickness. Overall well worth the money in gameplay. The story is just there. Will probably play around in Furthest Frontier until the new Anno game comes out.
  12. Same thing on xbox ig we have to wait for the devs to fix cause my last save was 10 hrs ago so now im stuck in the building staring at the guard :(
  13. Little PSA and reminder, please upvote this Bug on the Obsidian Bug Progression Tracker. Link in my earlier Post. Because slowly im really frustrated that i cant Play the Game any further until this Bug ist fixed...
  14. Slowly doodling along in the background with some of the Outer Worlds 2. Mostly in short pushes rather than hugely extended gaming times. Edit: And yes, I am moderately amused and entertained by the menu responding and making commentary on where the game is when I run it up again.
  15. @Hawke64 I stumbled into the City of Anarchy ending. Lou got mysteriously thrown out of the window of her hotel during the day, and it turned into a jolly Anarch town with Katsumi in charge. By the end of it, I'd done all of the side missions for those three characters and had positive responses from pretty much every character I'd met. So apparently, when everyone is positive to you, and you It defaults to Katsumi as the winner.
  16. More often now that I've reached the second planet, I am having a bug where I can't attack. I am now also having an inhaler issue where it won't activate with zero toxicity. Seems like the controller is losing mapping. I have tried several controllers, so I believe it's a game bug.
  17. Always good to see them hit Canada
  18. About every 20 minutes I can't attack. Sometimes it's right after I take a swing with the hammer, but mostly it right when battle starts. Going back to a previous save helps, but occasionally I have to go back several saves. It's almost like a Bethesda game
  19. Same thing here only it's every few seconds.. Can't even play the first actual mission because as soon as it loads, it kills the usb controller and everything disconnects.. Very frustrating not being able to play..
  20. At the step of "Return to Ruth". At the quest marker location. Pic - https://postimg.cc/grMJHjWC Ruth is not available for turn in. Things that have not solved this bug: Reloading an older save redoing the quest form an older save restarting the game Uninstalling / reinstalling the game Doing the Steam revalidate files thing
  21. Loving the fact that we finally have a working (kinda) turn based mode. Bugs I've seen in every combat so far: 1. Reach weapons don't work as intended. If you have a reach weapon, the character will show the area they can hit, and then walk right up next to the monster anyway before attacking. You can bypass this, by not telling them to attack, but just move. And then telling them to attack once they're in range, but I don't think this is working as intended. 2. Kana (and possibly all chanters?) freezes combat. Every time it comes to his turn, if he just does a basic attack the game goes into a "Waiting" state and never comes out of it. It appears that the game is getting hung up on him trying to chant his next phrase after his attack. 3. Disengage isn't working as it did in RTWP. If your character moves .0000001 of a micrometer, the game thinks you've disengaged, even though you never left engagement. This happens against the player's will during some action animations in which you haven't moved at all - the game registers the animation as movement, and the monster gets a free attack on you. 4. Line of sight is almost completely broken in every situation. Even when showing a % to hit (which implies to the player that it can hit), spells and ranged attacks won't work. And AoE spells (like Fan of Flames) hit the environment, not the monsters. 5. Pathing for monsters is also broken. The fight(s) in the Cad Nua cellar against all the spiders is a great example - monsters will be in the turn order, but not actually act. Or they will be close enough to be in the turn order, but not get added to it. Most often if there are more than just a couple monsters, they all take the exact same path to the player, which causes bottlenecks and the game to hang up while it's trying to figure out what they can do. 6. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but there are also many combats in which the monsters will all act 2 or 3 times before the player gets to. Turn order implies everyone gets a turn, but I'm not sure if you had something else in mind. So this could be a feature, not a bug. If it is a feature, it's a huge turn off for a mode that should have been much more enjoyable to those of us who hate RTWP.
  22. I have pretty severe astigmatism and other vision issues that make certain text contrasts (such as light on dark) very difficult for me to read, especially at smaller sizes. I love that I can adjust all the UI and environmental subtitle text sizes, and even change the colors and opacities for environmental subtitles, but it seems really weird that the conversation subtitles aren’t adjustable. They’re the majority of the text you look at in the game, it seems like you should be able to at least adjust the size let alone the opacity of the box behind them. Please add a text size adjustment for conversations!!! It’s making the game nearly impossible for me to play, which is such a shame because otherwise I’ve been having a great time
  23. I loaded a previous save and persuaded Vallow Andrew to give me the recipe instead of stealing it from her. Now, when I go back to the step where I have to talk to the moon man, I have an additional dialogue option that I didn’t have in the other save where I stole the recipe.
