  2. Am I missing something, isn't Freaky Tales out already?
  3. What you can make happen relatively easily is that you don't quite outheal the average incoming damage with draining and other "side effect" healing stuff. That requires you to monitor your health closely and get the occasional actively triggered healing burst (to not just die) - but it allows for longer times under 50% health. Against weaker foes it will prevent you from going under 50% though - but that might be the fights wherer you don't need to go there anyway (because easy). I didn't try that a lot with a Streetfighter, but SC Furyshaper (bc. of Blooded and Fighting Spirit, using Blood Ward etc.). A lot of CON helps to manage that a lot. But it will never work smoothly or perfectly well because all fights/enemies are different, rolls are chance-based etc. But on average it allows you to be under 50% health longer which can directly add to your offensive output (even if you have to shift some points from a "good for offense"-attribute like DEX/MIG/PER to one which usually is associated with defense/survival - like CON). What also helps is high AR (ideal if you can activate it at low health, see Reckless Brigandine) and getting grazed a lot when under 50% (swichting to a shield for example). And in addition to that have some damage resistance/reductiuon, too (Death's Maw and something like that. Death's Maw is pretty cool in this case because it only triggers when there's dead bodies around you which isn't at the start of the fight - where you might want to get hit harder until you get damaged too much). I played an Unbroken/Streetfighter main tank with Gladiator Sword + Bronlar's Phalanx - but he woud start the fights dual wielding often (no investment in two handed style) and then switch to the large shield as soon as under 50%. That allowed him to stay under 50% for a long time and made him perform a lot better than trying to keep on with the dual wielding.

  5. Recently noticed that McDonald's is now offering a Matcha Latte. Lately matcha seems to be everywhere, but never in the context it is supposed to be in. Worse, even, it is more or less wasted on (iced) matcha lattes. Infuencers branded it a super food, apparently oblivious to the fact that tea is really good ad sucking up aluminum and lead from the ground and consuming a lot of matcha isn't the best idea. Money is being made. A lot of it. Fantastic. People get cancelled for wearing dreads or buying traditional Chinese gowns for proms, but buying the basis of a time-honored Japanese tradition (their tea ceremony) to the point where matcha is getting sparse in Japan is fine. Clearly not cultural appropriation, but appreciation. Yep. Whatever.
  6. Yeah, I get what you mean — the tone in Hogwarts Legacy can feel a bit all over the place. On one hand it’s all about the magic and wonder of Hogwarts, and on the other you’re mowing down goblins and poachers without much thought. Still, like @BruceVC said, the exploration and atmosphere made it easy for me to just enjoy the game despite those oddities.
  7. Having spent a great many hours playing Grounded, I was ready and playing Grounded 2 the moment it released, and all things considered it's been fun. I have had to start over twice, the first time was only about 15 minutes in, but the second character was around 90%, but experienced the bug with ORC creatures that were killed before the quest to do so, the update simply removed the quests from my list, preventing me from progressing, but it turns out there really isn't any more right now So, after completing all quests, maxing all the Molars, building and upgrading all Weapons & Armor, here are a few Thoughts & Suggestions: Buggies are buggy, things occasionally fall through other things that they shouldn't, game freezes (Very rarely for me), these types of issues don't concern me, it's early access I expected issues, and these type of issues will be fixed sooner than expected. Suggestions; Drop rates for creature Items could use some adjustment, I had to kill 24 snails to get 2 Eyestalks, and the first 3 Wolf spiders I killed didn't drop any fangs. Respawn rates for creatures, I found a spot where 5 scorpions respawn very quickly, also in some areas the Orb Weavers are bad but the spiderlings just never stop coming, Wolf Spiders, 6 total in the park, but only 3 respawn, and they take hours. Buggies should be able to climb some vertical surfaces. I Want a Butterfly or Bee Buggy Thanks for reading, I really love the grounded series, and can't wait for more.
  8. A different way you could prevent cheesing is if during the fight you would need the player to travel across the battlefield to idk, press a button, or pull a lever.
  9. Freaky Tales looked good from the trailers. Looking forward to seeing it eventually.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Nah, I skipped hunters march. Since it's an optional area and apparently very tough, I figured to try to do it later.
  12. I watched this with my wife this weekend and it was fantastic. It might not make as much sense if you didn't grow up in the Bay Area in the 80's, but I think it will hold up as a funky piece of cinema for everyone.
  13. Killed Widow, wasn't too terrible (took like 15 minutes, i.e. a couple of tries), but the moveset is a combination of Dung Defender, Pure Vessel and Nightmare King Grimm and the fight has the necessity to be as aggresive as possibe under extreme duress or else you'll draw it out to the point where the mistakes will catch up with you. The Reaper Crest performed exceptionally well, once you heal you can get a lot of silk back by relentlessly punishing Widow's attack openings. Most of the time even enough for another heal, for which there are also plenty of openings (as healing arrests your momentum you can just let Widow run underneath you while she's doing NMKG's diagonal jumping slash and dash attack). @Lexx did you find the warrior bug in Hunter's March? The Fractured Mask is pretty useful at this stage, it's pretty much a free hit, one where it doesn't matter how much damage you receive.
  14. For anyone interested this was a known issue with the Epic Games Store (EGS) version of Pillars of Eternity. The achievements were added in a May 2021 update, but players often reported them disappearing or not tracking correctly. This was a technical issue with the Epic Online Services SDK implementation by the developers, not a user-caused problem.
  15. Alien Earth is a pleasant surprise, although it does seem to be going towards Jurassic Park. We shall see, but so far so good.
  16. I had to do an internet search to find out who Eugene Shoemaker was...
  17. Finished Silksong Act 1. Blasted Steps is just ridiculous, lol. The final chapter boss was pretty cool and fun to play, but getting to him... wtf were they thinking. More than half the time I wasn't even able to reach the boss arena, and even less did I manage to keep my full health. Generally the runback is not too terrible, but there is one stupid flying little **** that is exactly placed in a way to 110% annoy the hell out of you and ruin your day if you just do one little mistake. This took me like... I don't know... 5 hours? Probably more. Pure autism kept me going. And now I went straight into a lite version of the White Palace. Yay. Not sure if I will be able to finish this game.
  18. it seems they are utilising at least some of Hitman’s system. Perhaps, closer to Absolution - a narrative, linear experience with some occasional small scale freeform stuff. It seems you can’t kill will you get licence to do it - I supposed it is a good enough way of preventing players from killing civies as Bond.
  19. It's impossible to maintain perfect balance between the damage taken and healing. Use a trickster instead of a streetfighter and if you want to see ripostes get also a shield...
  20. Trump celebrates West Point alumni group canceling award ceremony to honor Tom Hanks Sometimes DJT can be a very small-minded man. Well... maybe not sometimes. Little Trump.
  21. I've also got this exact same issue, even down to the game running fine for a minute or two, then freezing for several seconds, then frame time spikes and stuttering like crazy afterwards. I'm on Windows 11, with a 7800x3d and a 5080. EDIT: I'm playing on Gamepass and I've seen others on Reddit talking about this same issue who are also on Gamepass, while those on Steam don't have it.
  22. First of all the ant... Why does it have to go in front of you or at the back of you and irritate you while chopping something or building or peering etc.? The ant gets stuck in the floor every time i spawn in a bed or sleep in a bed. The ant attacks animals on its own. If you attack something the ant automatically does it as well. The only way to stop it from attacking is to whistle at it but if it already attacked you cant make it go away from the fight. If you whistle it just stops there and get beat up. If you are in gas or sizzling the ant just stays in there when the other bug is eliminated and often gets knocked down. There should be an option to lock some of the things on your ant so it does not quick deposit so that you could always have extra stuff on the ant to repair armor and such There should be an option on how many minutes pass before each auto save because right now the game crashes all the time still and its not because of anything special. An option to toggle auto aim off The wolf spider sometimes looks like all its legs are broken if you look at it from a distance Sometimes my weapons end up in a chest even tho there are no other weapons in there Sometimes the arrows dont get picked up when you run over them Bugs spawn way to often inside stuff like roots, stones etc. Sometimes if you want to jump and pull the dandelion it often equips the dandelion first and when you press again it jumps. I think its when you are to close to the edge of something. When you run to fast from one place to another the insects does not spawn until they are next to you. The game also crashes often if you run to a new home made base. If you save the game on top of a large rock you often spawn inside it. You should add stick insects.
  23. Funny, just recently I was in norway for 2 weeks. It's nice. Certainly more pretty than the boring flat place I'm living in.
  24. This is such a minor grievance, but I was trying to find neat places to position my stuffed bugs and I really wanted to put an orb weaver on the wall over my entrance where it won't snap at all, or on the angled part of my roof outside to which I only got the "too steep" notification. It would make for some nice aesthetic touches.
