Yep, still broken on PS5. I was looking forward to finishing the game after a couple months, but I guess I'm shelving it still. Maybe they'll fix it someday or I'll feel like replaying from the beginning someday.

Because in terms of game mechanics, Bloodmage is generally the superior subclass over any other (and vanilla). A non-subclass Wizard has the only advantage that he/she could use Empower and has a little better basic sturdyness. Both is not relevant for this build. A Bloodmage can replenish spell casts as often as he/she likes (and if there's enough healing). This is relevant for this build since - once there's enough stacks of recovery bonus - you can spam spells a lot faster. Later you want to cast Wall of Draining in combo with a heal over time asap - and also as often as necessary.

Game of Thrones' final seasons set the bar so low that a show is going to have to do much worse than Stranger Things to ruin the show. But yes, I agree, that is also part of what @Bartimaeus mentioned. The characters (or most of them, anyway) had complete story arcs in the first season, leaving only the new ones as really interesting in the newer seasons. The storyline of the second and third seasons were never nothing more than a remix of the first one. Sure, the first season had an 80ies style sequel hook, but that was pretty much spot on for the genre. From a purely artistical point of view, yes, Stranger Thing should have been left alone after a single season. From a business point of view, I can't really blame anyone involved for wanting to make more episoes - and much more money, obviously.

I have finished the available content in Death Trash. The pace improved significantly in the Perished City area. It was a positive experience overall and I look forward to the full version.

I feel like Stranger Things should never have been more than a single season. Some stuff after was ok too, but it was never as great as s1 again. I'd even argue, the new stuff kinda ruined everything a bit.

Stranger Things wins the award for the most pointless retcon of the year by There's this neat little concept in fiction that when you have something that is somewhat inexplicable, like Eldritch horror hive mind beings from another dimension, there's really no need to come up with a sci-fi'ish explanation for it. Nothing's gained by doing that, and it just adds a completely convoluted set of plot points into the final episodes that - while being somwhat "set up" by two minutes of dialogue in a previous episode - feels very much out of the left field and seriously messes with the pacing of the episodes. I'm kinda loving the fallout of Will's special scene in the seventh episode. Overall the second half of the season was a bit weaker than the first. Not as unecessary as the entirety of the second episode, but scratching the ludicrousness of the Russian plot in season three.

I have been under the weather, stuck on the sofa. So I finally felt lousy enough to waste time and watch The Watch. That show is a dumpster fire. The most amazing thing is, the people responsible for it were so delusional, they even wrote in the hooks for a second season.

Hi hi, I just bought OW2 for the PS5 and was glad to see that we're allowed to adjust buttons within the game. I wish it were a complete re-mapping, but it seemed serviceable. I have a limb difference, making it waaaaaay more enjoyable to play if I'm able to swap triggers. I was very disappointed to discover that when I switched the L1/R1 triggers (and the L2/R2), the left stopped doing anything, and the right did both things. So it went from right-handed: Left: Aim Right: Shoot To left-handed: Left: Nothing Right: Aim AND Shoot Maybe related, I reset to factory settings, but the interface remained toggled for left-handed place, and the controllers responded as though it had been reset. They were counter to each other. Something is janky here. I've restarted and tried a different control. The problem persists. Thanks for any help or insights!

NAFO types think tricking the intellectually disabled into planting bombs and then blowing themselves up is fine, so long as it kills Russian police as well. They think using an Azeri truck driver to deliver a bomb and getting him blown up is fine, so long as it's targeting the Kerch Bridge. And yes, they shed tears for a literal literal Russian nazi, so long as he's fighting for Ukraine and killing Russians. There's pretty clearly quite literally nothing they wouldn't excuse so long as it results in dead Russians. They are the living (eh, rather a lot are most certainly bots) embodiment of 'no bad tactics, only bad targets'; many have a previous record of supporting ISIS, when it targets Russians. It is thus utterly unsurprising that most of them are absolutely fine with dead Palestinian children, tortured Palestinian prisoners etc etc. Not very high quality human beings, to be sure. Fair chance Kapustin got whacked by his own side anyway. His organisation was largely irrelevant once the figment of the Belgorod incursions being home grown was gone, and he personally was embarrassing. Plus if there were a peace agreement he'd be an excellent chance for trying to mess it up. Always a good candidate for an 'unfortunate accident' as happened with a number of pro Russian militia leaders.

somehow in almost 300h of playtime, I have still not finished a full playthrough of this game. Maybe this time? and, as usual, I have a disastrous case of choice paralysis regarding my character. What class? What role? What morals? Who to use as companions? Who to support? I am leaning towards a ranged character, since I never really did that, and I never sided with Italians too (damn capitalists), so.... maybe? My previous runs were as follows: Monk/rogue Barbarian/priest of Skaen Berserker/wizard (this one actually got the farthest, past beast of winter) Rogue/wizard Paladin/priest of Berath I have a preference for heavy-hitting dual-wielding characters with some casting or at least a variety of activated abilities (the tank run was a dud). I finished PoE1 with a cipher, so maybe that should a part of it. Thoughts, ideas? Thanks!
