Just unlocked the double jump. Path of Pain was a lot shorter, but also harder, and also switched to the Crest of the Wanderer due to its massively increased attack speed. The short range isn't really an issue so far outside of some really annoying flying enemies. Can't quite grasp why you guys struggled with Moorwing so much, outside of doubling his blade attack shortly before he dies he doesn't do anything spectacular or problematic. Found the Last Judge's second phase much more annoying. I really hated the way one has to wait for a decent opening to attack, and he kept doing his Nightmare King Grimm tribute fire column ability. Which of course always ended up having a fire column right next to him. Impatience killed me a couple of times there.

The more I go down my rabbit hole...I dont think it was an "intercept" at all, but rather a field test. Think of this: We know the range of the AMG-114 is ~11km. There were two Reapers involved, the view we see is from the "lazing buddy" and the other one fires the missile. Why would two Reapers just so happen to be patrolling within 6 miles of each other and both just so happen to spot the UAP. Then, unprecedentedly, fire upon it! The missile not exploding has got me boggled. Sure, stuff fails, but it looked kind of like it hit a water ballon and just went of screen. But I dont think we were ever meant to see this footage. Now dont get me wrong, I whole heartedly believe that extra-terrestrial life exists, probably all over the universe. I just dont necessarily believe they are here on Earth. If they are, its the octopuses.

And before anything is said, all settings for my start up for the pc are turned off. I’ve double and triple checked. But for some reason, Grounded 2 will start on its own. But it doesn’t load up on the pc like I’m actually playing, just shows I’m on it through my Xbox profile, and I do not understand why. I’ve looked at everything and there should be no reason for it. I just don’t know what else to do.

I've been watching Terminal List: Dark Wolf and enjoying it. It isa very good military thriller. The first series focused on Chris Pratt and was a bit more revengy. This one has Taylor Kitsch and is more spy thriller. I like it better. Also Kitsch is my new favorite actor. I didn't know he played pro hockey. His whole personality changes when he starts talking about it: -

Not just the US, almost all the decidedly little letters 'outrage' from the collective west is performative. Except for Spain, I guess. As always the juxtaposition of having a news article about some unarmed drones toodling across Poland being The End of World Civilisation!!! vs Israel bombing yet another country- and killing its citizens- is pretty stark. Good thing we have double standards, or we wouldn't have any at all. The lack of any actual consequences makes it very very clear that our politicians are absolutely fine with genocide so long as it's their friends doing it. And if you're fine with genocide then... there really isn't anything that you're not fine with, including Perfidy and having one ally bomb another. -

#1, It's a risk one takes being a public figure of any kind. Can't say I'm all that surprised in today's US/political climate. #2. I have definitely felt like the US is teetering on some kind of guerrilla/terrorist-civil war, more localized conflicts vs all states involved at once etc. Not saying it WILL happen, but it sure gives me those vibes. #3. While I'm not all that ancient yet, I've apparently still lived too long (tech/own nothing, politics (not just US either) etc. Humanity does like to repeat itself re: civilization cycles - if not in exact detail, in themes. I feel like the higher our tech, the faster those cycles are rotating even within current civilization era. Wonder what documentaries on us will be like. ^ I'm sure I've said it before, but the only reason I still have Netflix at this point is 1-hubby and 2-S. korea content. But even the k-dramas that Netflix tends to highlight or at the ones plastered with the "Netflix originals" (or at least "only on Netflix") have a pattern to what they are. Which is why I've been going back to Viki a lot more, again. And half the time I can't even buy such on dvd's anymore in terms of willing to wait to see in that way. Especially for non-US stuff and series (vs. films). -

I ended up canceling Netflix after the millionth time logging in and scrolling through all the soulless crap, then giving up without watching anything. I'm pretty sure my time browsing Netflix has surpassed my time actually watching it. -

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2025/aug/28/bland-easy-to-follow-for-fans-of-everything-what-has-the-netflix-algorithm-done-to-our-films I would think it's not just Netflix anymore. But I suppose we can blame them for starting it. Now they all do it. Sad state of affairs, and yet not surprising, both re: commercialism/profit, and humanity's constant thirst for ear and eyeball-induced tickles. "Are you not entertained?" Well, most of the time, no, not really. But hey, sometimes it is all better than watching the ceiling. -
This is exactly my professional take as well. Putin knows how the military side of NATO will react. No need for him to test that. It is the political side of NATO that is suspect, and it totally makes sense Putin will want to (and will continue to) test the political will and unity of NATO. And Article 4 provocations are the best way to do so as well, because obviously an Article 5 provocation could very well backfire on him.

I just noticed that Dust Bunny trailer. If it has Mads, I'm watchin'. Also, looks good in general/my type of genre, at least. -
Sadly I wasn't home in Brisbane to experience the Riverfire 2025 festival. I hope I'll be there for the 2026 festival though! The airshow is only part of it, the fireworks at night is probably only outdone by the Sydney Harbour New Years fireworks edit: I've seen clips from previous years posted elsewhere and so many self proclaimed know it all are adamant it's fake and AI and nowhere in the world would something like this be allowed. Having been there and experienced it myself many times now, I'm like: Welcome to the real world, when reality literally overwhelms the mental capacity of some edit: a few short clips from above mentioned fireworks

Ok, I love the buggies and they have a lot of function but hear me out, rail cars. It would be great to have a craftable rail car and tracks to transport resources and travel across the map between bases. I already have a system where I will build an elevated grass "Sidewalk" to travel between hot spots or bases. The addition of a speedy little cart that could carry more would make it a lot easier to make the runs. Obviously it would require hunting down the required "special" resources to build but I think it would be endlessly beneficial and ultimately take base building and exploration to the next level. Just a thought, let me know what you think.
