  2. Hi All, So I'm nearing 100% on my current Devoted/Tricster + Willbreaker run (Dorudungan, Auranic and Ukaizo left), and it was a pretty fun build, and I enjoyed it a lot, but I was stuck with a single weapon for the entire playthrough. Obviously comming back to Deadfire again I want more I'm planning to play WoTeP for the first time on my watcher (did some trickster/garrote run up to like lvl 10 or so, but was unimpressed with it). My idea is to not rely solely on WoTeP. I'm plannig to: - start the fights I can from stealth with a double FoD from The Red Hand (hopefully triggering inspiring triumph too) - then switch to WoteP without reloading, already with some focus to Soul Anihilate - for big solo bosses I'm planning to use The Willbreaker + modal and desintegrate Stat allocation is pretty rough for this build: needs near max RES, INT with high PER and at least some might and dex, but I guess that'll be managable. Probably gonna have a buddy chanter (or two). Not 100% sold on Steel Garrote yet, late game a Trickster multiclass would probably be stronger, but I just played trickster. I honestly have very little experience with WoTeP, but considering how stretched on stats this build is going to be, a 2nd tanky character is probably in order. I usually have Edér, but it is kinda boring to have him on literally the same build every playthrough, so this time I might go for a different companion cast from my trusty Edér + Seer + Wildrhymer + Herald (full healbot). Was thinking about covering heals with a Kind Wayferer + Troubadour built offensively and spamming buffed FoDs (although might compete with the Watcher for ring of inner fire, but I guess I can live with that). Add a tactician/priest for buffs and emergency heals and also some damage output. The kind wayfarer could use Grave Calling to kill of some skeletons to spawn chill fog for easy Brilliant Tactician trigger too (or just have the watcher cast Phantom Foes). As for the rest of the party, I'm not set on yet. Maybe a Troubadour/Psion, as I never played Psion and some high range autoattacker to interrupt casters. I usually use Spearcaster on a Wildrhymer for that, but since I want to change it up... maybe a Frostseeker using savage (arcane archer/mage slyer). Aim is the same, POTD with all megabosses. Could this work? I'm normally worried about WoTeP builds vs the big endgame boss fights, but maybe this build would still be flexible enough to do well in the toughest encounters.

  4. usa threatening 200 percent tariff over rare earth guess trade war is back on the menu
  5. Sugababes? I'd sledgehammer the PC, and that is coming from me who unironically enjoys Eurodance trash.
  6. If you see that small little dot at the bottom, left of Dubrovnik, you would in fact realize how generous the Croats are.
  7. It's shocking that a guy that lives in a literal gold tower doesn't care about poor people. Who could have predicted such a thing?
  8. I'm more concerned about Trump trying to end cashless bail than the flag stuff, which, really doesn't matter at all, and has no impact on anyone's life. That said, I have no faith that the Supreme Court won't bend to Trump on this, but it should still pretty unlikely since it's been ruled to be protected free speech. If you can't afford bail you can sit behind bars for weeks, months, or even over a year while waiting for trial just because you're poor. These aren't people who the judge has denied bail because of the seriousness of the crime or their criminal history, but rather people who have been granted bail and just can't afford it.
  9. It would be great to have more icons for organizing chests beyond the current Grounded 1 set. For example: scorpions, mantises, ****roaches, pine needles, milkweed, feathers, ORC receivers, or even candies. Some of these I could improvise, but it’s tricky to manage specific chests like scorpions without a proper icon.
  10. Can I ask why you think it goes too far? At worse it can be mildly insulting, but I don't consider it a priority. There are western states that prohibit flag desecration (France and Germany) and those that don't (Canada and Britain). In either case, it doesn't appear to impact them in any significant way. I suspect this is more of a priority for flag-hugging Republicans, and I suspect that prohibiting it in apparent violation of the First Amendment is a slippery slope.
  11. How's that too far? Near idolatry of symbols isn't a good form of patriotism

  13. I like all the suggestions, particularly the stained glass as we can mess around with the lighting features near the windows.
  14. I’m Interested but the speed on them is so slow except on edges (which might be a glitch they remove) and with orb weavers. I would want an additional feature where we can apply a spray to the webs we build to make them less sticky. An upgrade rather than a replacement like reinforcing in Subnautica or Raft. Honestly wouldn’t mind being able to reinforce/upgrade a lot of what we build.
  15. Scratch that. All back to normal this morning.
  16. The Myrmarachne is a spider which lift its upper legs to look like ants. Doing so, it's extremly hard to tell the difference with a real ant just by sight. This new mob would look like an ant from a little distance, but when you look closer you'll see that it's a spider that attacks you. 17. You gave it a good perk while also keeping it from being OP. Then you added in some fun to it like dancing and fetch. I like the idea.
  18. I'd like to add to this request, please get my buggy out of my tent in the mornings. Same issue, the buggy is right on top of you. In my base I get shoved into the floor, unable to move by my buggy crowding my lean to. Only way out is to mount my bug, dismount, and possibly mount a second time to finally get out without destroying my base. I think a great way to fix the overnight snuggling issue would be to require a nest before hatching, and their spawn point is the nest. If you're not at your base, then the buggy can appear from off scene like when leaving a cool or hot biome, as if summoned from home without the delay. Like an automatic whistle when you wake up, just give me my personal space. I wasn't raised to spoon with insects. Sorry
  20. Using my phone since around 2014. Before that I had a small alarm clock freeware on the PC. That was a time I'd wake up to Sugabases - Too Lost In You; which ironically I do not listen to under other circumstances, only as an alarm The old alarm clocks were always so annoyingly loud.
  21. Hello there The Buggy in my opinion is defaulting way to close to the Player when OOC. It happens sometimes that the buggie is roaming around right in front of my nose making it very hard to pick up items. I think this would be fixed by adding a little bit more distance as default as the problem comes from the buggy standing inside of me. Cheers Maex
  22. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/08/prosecuting-burning-of-the-american-flag/ Trump wants to pass a law where burning the US flag can get you prosecuted I support this and I have never understood how this type of behaviour was normalized and fine You can get angry with your government and protest legally but burning your flag goes too far " Our great American Flag is the most sacred and cherished symbol of the United States of America, and of American freedom, identity, and strength. Over nearly two-and-a-half centuries, many thousands of American patriots have fought, bled, and died to keep the Stars and Stripes waving proudly. The American Flag is a special symbol in our national life that should unite and represent all Americans of every background and walk of life. Desecrating it is uniquely offensive and provocative. It is a statement of contempt, hostility, and violence against our Nation — the clearest possible expression of opposition to the political union that preserves our rights, liberty, and security. Burning this representation of America may incite violence and riot. American Flag burning is also used by groups of foreign nationals as a calculated act to intimidate and threaten violence against Americans because of their nationality and place of birth."
  23. The Ali G interview with Trump has become one of my favourites, this was way back in 2003 and before Trump got involved in politics Its classic Cohen parody and its why he is my funniest actor, Its even funnier because we know how Trump acts and thinks now and you can see how annoyed Trump gets
  24. Y'all had tadpoles in the first game but no frogs so Im saying you should add frogs it would be a cool creature to fight and maybe tame and give stuff to make armor or weapons and you could put different age ones starting from tadpoles up to frogs and different types like tree frogs or just make a hard boss like a bull frog
  25. [IMPROVEMENT] -Glider improvement: we could create gliders that would make us hover further with bee wings for a level 1 glider and with butterfly wings for level 2, for example. We could put this equipment as a back accessory, for example. - Improvement of the backpack with a "cooler" section: we could improve our bag in the cooler, which would add an inventory line only for food and keep it longer, for example, or if a water bottle is in this location, would fill us more greatly the water gauge. It would save us space in the inventory, besides that, since the food would have its dedicated location. - Improvement of the roasting spit: better design, barbecue or brazier for example, allows to put more meat at once, and to make better quality meat [GAME MECHANICS] - Flying mount: you may have already thought about it, but bees mounts, butterflies or why not add dragonflies in the game could be interesting. - Integration of fishing and fishing rod: For this improvement, I don’t have too much idea what it could be used for haha, but a fishing mechanic could be cool, maybe to fish resources or food? [NEW ITEMS/RESOURCES] - Integration of the electrical element and the steel material: We could pick up metal and rust debris to make stronger weapons and armor, and for the electrical element, we could recover ORC elements or copper wires that might be in cables or electronic elements like the calculator that are already present in the game’s decor. - Integration of the glass material: This time it would be for the decorative side of the game, to create windows, greenhouses for example for our base, it could be created from heated sand in the ovens. And why not use that for some weapons (arrows in glass point for example) [CONSTRUCTION BASES] - Decorations: >Swimming pool, football cage, volleyball net, sofa, trophy/statuette with the image of each insect (when unlocking a gold card for example), panels on which one can write what one wants (variable size), mannequin able to carry the weapon in hand, Fountains of youth or equivalent (to be put in our base and treated over time when we are nearby. Creation limited to 1-2 copies), Safe with password, to have a personal safe in coop - Structure: >Predefined building construction: Models of houses, rooms, bases already predefined directly to place and build. >Creating our own predefined and shareable buildings/base online? >Creation of activatable dynamic elements with switch or something equivalent (drawbridge, secret door) >Creation of traps, doors/passageways while crouching >Wall and structure with picks (for protection) >Roof windows >Descent bar >Vertical Zipline (abseil up and down) >Elevator system for bases - Customization of furniture and objects: >One could customize, for example, the color of chests, beds, walls, etc. Customization could be done through color pigments that one could unlock against raw science. Or a machine that transforms the game’s resources into color pigments (example: berry for purple, pieces of red ant for red... etc) [WEAPONS / ARMOR] - Ideas of elementary sticks: >Stick usable in water, with sound attacks or water current. (when water will be available obviously) > Healing stick (Send a healing substance to the allies - Weapon and bone armor: Several skeletons are scattered across the map, if we could collect them, it could be used to create weapons and armor and various crafts. - Idea of arrows for the bow: >Sound arrow (to attract insects to a place and create a diversion). >Spider web arrow (create a spider web around the insect to immobilize it). >Friendly arrow (to make an insect an enemy, as an allied insect for a given time depending on the power of the insect, and some would be immune). >Explosive arrow (arrow + bombs) in limited number, they could do big damage. >Healing arrow (creates a cloud of healing for allies and oneself over a small area) > Fireworks arrow (just for fun and available for holiday days, New Year’s Eve for example) All these arrows greatly improve the archer class and its role as a distant player and support - Armor skin: armor designs could improve and change depending on the level of improvement given to them, the more the armor is improved, the bigger and badass it becomes (same for weapons?) or maybe just for boss armor/weapons [ENVIRONMENT] - Addition of carnivorous plants, which could attack us when we are nearby. Once killed, they would give resources to make insect traps, to farm gnats for example. Every X time, a dead gnat appears in the traps - Vegetable/fruit seeds: Seeds could be scattered all over the map, with the addition of a "vegetable garden" production craft, we could plant them, grow them and serve them to make dishes. - Some ideas of insects and their armor/weapons/ kraft: >Grasshopper: Armor that allows jumping higher and greatly reduces fall damage. Full set bonus: shock wave with each jump during a fight. >Dragonflies: flying mounts? Or high level gliders. >Urticant caterpillar: armor that slightly poisons enemies when they hit us >Phyllium: armor very weak, but allows to be undetectable for almost all enemies as long as one does not attack them. >Rhinoceros beetle: a shield with the beetle’s horn on it that would allow charges forward, doing big damage and knocking out enemies. - Weather system: Depending on the weather, some insects or resources could appear more often and others, on the contrary, more rarely. (Rain, for example, could cause more snails and fungi to appear) Here is a part of the ideas I had for additions in the game, I have been playing grounded since 1 and I really like your game, I would be delighted to propose other ideas in the future!
