InsaneCommander Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) Guys anyone know if these two portraits have been done already? Making a Coastal Aumaua and of course once again minority races get the shaft in the portraits department. Cheers guys Yes, this has already been done. I'll try to find the exact post and add it here later. Would be nice if someone would be able to make a whole set of Portarits of the upper half of this one -> https://imgur.com/a/lErCiZx And this one too pls :D -> https://imgur.com/a/XsCoI8i The first one turned out to be really ugly & unmakable, but still, did this one : Now we need a tree-shifter druid subclass. Edit: Found the Helmet guy, it's in this page: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/91743-portraits/page-15?do=findComment&comment=1977992 Edited May 19, 2018 by InsaneCommander 1
warbaby2 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 So this seems to be the place for requests. Can someone do this one? Thanks in advance! Was already done in another thread, but since I don't wanna look through 30 pages times 2, there you go... Pity the cool glowing hands stuff is so far down. To not waste space, I'll add some new stuff too... Enjoy! 7
InsaneCommander Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Deadfire starts with a D. You know what else starts with a D? Dwarves. You know what's sorely missing in this thread? Dwarves. Coincidence? I think not. Ok, if you think we are missing dwarves, I'll post more. Some of them were probably posted here before, but this is already the third thread and we are not even counting the one(s?) from PoE1. 5
FrauVelv Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 I'm not forum savvy enough to add pictures to a post, but here's a small collection of portraits. Mostly pale elf, but also a moon godlike. 5

akichan_am Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) Did someone say dwarves? Though I've noticed a couple humans on this thread are DnD dwarves. These two ladies comes in flavors of beardless and some beard. You're gonna have to save some of them as .png since I forgot to do so when editing them because I'm a moron/ Edited May 19, 2018 by akichan_am 4
zendingo Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Big thanks to Krimsis for fulfilling my request on the last page of the previous thread. 1
George_Truman Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 The in-game version of this portrait is so ugly its distracting. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a filter version.

warbaby2 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) Can anyone help me with this? There you go... the hair kinda makes it look messy, though. ...and in order to safe space, again, here is a nother little something. ...man, I think I reached the end of pinterst now. :D EDIT: Opt, hand was off... fixed. deathbydice Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Someone asked for some Jon Snow where he's not about to cry and it's pretty hard as he almost always looks that way. Found a few that might work though. Again, sucking at watercoloring them, so just offering them up. Threw in some Robb for good measure. Someone else requested some dwarfs, my wife gave me suggestions. She likes the beardless dwarves and saw plenty of bearded ones on the previous post. Also posted a female dwarf she liked. Rando's that I thought would fit the game 1

Great job! 1
Krimsis Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Made this cool redheaded chick for my next Pirate playthrough, thought I'd share her. 12
Kampel Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) the lack of orlan portraits.. :c How do you use a custom portrait in-game? just drop the image in a foulder in the game directory or something? Edited May 19, 2018 by Kampel 1
Casper Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 the lack of orlan portraits.. :c How do you use a custom portrait in-game? just drop the image in a foulder in the game directory or something? first, you usually have to name them properly, then you can drop them in to the... \PillarsOfEternityII_Data\gui\portraits\player\male or female folder 1 Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today, I wish, I wish he'd go away... -Hughes Mearns
Hayte Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) There are 4 portrait types - lg, sm, convo, si. example: male_human_a_lg.png male_human_a_sm.png male_human_a_convo.png male_human_a_si.png lg = large portrait = 210 x 320 pixels sm = small portrait = 76 x 96 pixels convo = large watercolour = 90 x 141 pixels si = small watercolour = 76 x 96 pixels For a custom portrait to show up in the in-game list, you only need lg and sm. I just find the last unique "letter" for the appropriate sex/race and continue on from there. For example, the last female elf portrait is "female_elf_k_" so I just continue on from there with "female_elf_l_", then "female_elf_m_" and so on. Edited May 19, 2018 by Hayte 4

Small correction: For some reason, the "si" versions of the new - as in, new to Deadfire - portraits are 90 x 114. The "si" files made from PoE1 holdovers have the 76 x 96 pixel count, though. I actually went through the portraits folder and made all those legacy files a higher resolution by simply cropping the convo files down to 90 x 114, since the "si" interface apparently allows for a higher resolution... ...yea, I'm that analy retentive. OrpheusM Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Hey guys, awkwardly gonna bump my request in case anyone has some time and can change these portraits to the "watercolour conversation thingie" format. I can at least change it to the smaller "_sm" versions by myself, *self-pat-in-the-back* so don't waste your time on that.
