@marelooke. Well I know that from one of my friends who is colorblind, and was not able to play Crysis jungle levels because of this. I really do not remember which Crysis game it was specifically, but he did complained about it a lot.

There's of course a lot of different combinations of colorblindess, but I actually have almost all of them rolled into one effective package. So I have a big problem differentiating between anything but prime colors - and I could easily play Crysis, most of the aliens moved very distinctly and were either white/grey or blue, making them stand out fairly well.

The Koreans were impossible to spot however, but they were so easy to defeat that it wasn't much of an issue.

I beat Gothic. I'm going to try MDK. I have never played it but I have been curious about it for some time. Might as well do it now.

Have fun with the World's smallest Nuclear bomb. :)

MDK was p.cool imo. Still have the special edition with art book. Last page is funny, with a photo of the founder and his expensive car. Little did they know that in a few years later, everything's going down.

So I got StarCrawlers in the GoG sale.
I made a Void Psyker and reached lvl 2. I look at the job board and after failing the colony ship mission decide to stick something easier for now. then I fail a lvl 2 mission. Then a lvl 1. Fighting groups 3 is tough and I don't have the money for teammates nor have I gotten the robot buddy yet. Doesn't help that I got abilities that build up Void Energy but no productive way to release it yet, so any tips? Should I just start over quickly?

Hmm, I started as a Void Psyker myself, and it definitely is one of the harder starts. You need a second character asap. A Cyberninja would make sense as they are DPS, but a Soldier is also a solid choice. Second hire should be a Hacker.

If you pick missions, grab one that has you interact with a terminal. That way you can try to find the terminal and then run back out and not clear the whole map.

Did you do the full tutorial including finding the secret room? I think that was enough money for a hire.

Came around a brand new Nintendo DSi for only 60 bucks! Couldn't pass, the color is just mesmerizing and there are quite a few DS shovelwares that I am more than willing to try. Couldn't take a pic but it basically one of these:

Heads up anyone who wants one, go to ur local Walmart (don't call bc u won't get right answer) and ask for one. Alot of Walmarts got some more in last night and can be sold BEFORE the black Friday sale bc it's not "part" of it.

I completed Chapter 2 of Looking For a Sweet Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deal on a PS4 Pro.  In a plot twist, it turned out that there are no better deals than the GameStop deal.  In fact, while everybody and their grandmother has deals on the PS4 Slim, no one else has any deal at all on the PS4 Pro in the US, be it brick and mortar stores or online retailers.  Onward to the final chapter.  Hopefully this game doesn't go Mass Effect 3 on me and give me a really unsatisfying ending.

Best Buy and Amazon both have the PS4 Pro on sale for $399.99, down $100 from the regular price of $499.99 right now.

I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and get it since I'm saving $100.

Finished off Saboeur, didn't do much of the freeplay stuff but that's all samey so no big loss, 84% of the missions done as well so I got a good bite.  Fun game, well worth the $10 I paid for it, has a decent amount of charm and I even liked some of the characters.

Grabbed Syberia 3, Mafia 2 and AI War off sales recently...wonder which one to start with

I didn't have enough, probably because I didn't mind rape the kid into giving me his shiny thing. :p

I got through though, found an escort mission and we made a reasonably effective team with the escortee scientist. Thanks for the tips tho. :)

Just finished Trails of Cold Steel 1 on PC. It ends on a cliffhanger and the second game's port shouldn't be out until early 2018. I'm working hard to resist the urge to read spoilers.

Level 27 or so in FFXV Comrades DLC now, probably getting close to the end of the new-quests questline/full map exposure. After you beat whatever the final boss-encounter is, what's left is just repeating any individual combat missions you like doing and grinding for special monster drops that allow you to max out the best weapons with highest stats possible etc. Some shops you have to buy items via barter instead of gil/cash, too, with the barter for the best base items for upgrading being some of those rare drops. Those special monster drops are a lot of RNG and being lucky at "breaking" specific appendages. Not sure if I'll farm for all of those, it can be seriously aggravating trying to get those specific damage-breaks for a small chance then producing the rare item vs. the common item.

So probably a decent 35-45 hours of time to be had if you do almost "everything" and then stopped - shorter if you just beeline to the end fight. There's a NG+ mode but like in the main FFXV game it's rather lame/useless since it isn't a total do-over, just resets the map-node progression (keep all your gear/items and all your avatars can share/use the same gear so...). Only reason to do it is if you made a certain wrong "pick A B or C" choice, which would mean you'd miss out on special item shops. The combat difficulty overall isn't too tough - again, it's kind of like the main game, where there's a few/several that can be quite tough but most aren't very demanding if you're taking time to upgrade gear.

Anyway, I'm still having fun. If they ever add in more areas/missions etc. I'd be there.

I'm playing Dragon Quest Heroes 2 on PS4.  I've not played the first game in the series so I can't compare the two from experience, but I've been told the first is more a straight up Dynasty Warriors but with a Dragon Quest coat of paint, while this game incorporates more of DQ's systems to create something in between the two.  The combat is still very much musuo, mind you.  You fight giant groups of super weak enemies where you are essentially a god delivering tremendous destruction upon them with occasional stronger enemies and beefy bosses showing up once in a while.  I've only begun to scratch the surface of the character system, so I can't comment on that yet, but the game does seem to have all of Dragon Quests's signature brand of charm.  I'm loving it so far.

Still playing my "chill after work" games like Football Manager 2018, Crusader Kings 2 (now with new DLC) and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI. Kind of wish I was younger and had the energy to become truly good at Dota 2. It's my favorite game, but when I'm tired after work it's not really what appeals to me.

I have just a little over to get into a game and finish it. I was wondering, how important is it to play the first Dishonored before the second one? I was hoping to buy a steam or gog game this weekend and sink my teeth into it while I have the chance.

Educated Background, then the one that gave nothing (I figured they'll drop a surprise later in the game), and the rare accesory.

Soldier is by far and large the best class in the game. High damage mitigation, self-sustain and massive damage output, great passives. What's not to like? :)

The downside of Black Friday sales: I end up buying games I'm only semi-interested in, all because they're half price and I feel like I'm getting a huge deal.

Completed Ember. It's a party-RPG (real-time-with-pause). The game is fairly linear and the avatar is quite unchangeable story-wise (Lawful-Good zombie guy). The two things, I'd call unusual, are skills bound to equipment and targeting system (skill or item has to be dragged by mouse to the character or area, the player needs it to apply). The atmosphere and humor are close to the Divinity series.

Nothing else of note.

Bought 4 games on Steam Autumn Sale (so far) and I'm going to play at least one of them today.
