Tale
The world of online dating is going out of it's way to mess with all my expectations. In a good way. It's very suspicious. I'm being vague because I'm putting the world on notice. I'm on to you. 1 "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater." Calax
Saw a news story about the fact my company canceled reservations... heard my bosses voice as part of said news story. Am getting anxiety attacks because of impending move plus lack of vehicles. I'll soldier through but it doesn't feel great. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Gorth
I have a bit of vacation starting after today. Took next week off. First time since 2015 that I've taken more than 3 days off in the same year. Got a new BBQ, New outdoor furniture arrives tomorrow and it's a nice 25C today. Not too bad overall 1 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Guard Dog
I'm leaving for a much put off vacation myself. I was supposed to go back in May but events great and terrible have interfered. Heading down to Gulf Islands national park in Mississippi for a few days then maybe east to Apalachicola. Gfted1
Yep, I'm outta here too. Leaving tomorrow for a one week cruise! w00tw00t. I loves me the all inclusive liquor package. Ive never actually taken a whole week vacation and I'm not sure how to act. I mean, I get longer than that off for Christmas but that's just me chilling at my house. Depending on the cruise serivce, there can be a lot or nothing. The classic cruises can be formal evenings at dinner, slow and lazing out on deck. Hobby and craft studious run in some sections by day, the ship's library, quite often a small casino. Various clubs, bars - which range from quiet drinking places to music and dancing. Most usually have a theatre and cinema aboard with regularly scheduled performances of all sorts. Hell, I've seen one that ran a murder mystery weekend troupe over the cruise length. Although the last decade or so has seen a vast increase in the "wild club party at sea" type of cruises. So you might be stuck on one of those if you weren't paying attention. majestic
You really should check out David Hasselhoff's famous Mediterranean cruises. You even get an autograph and can spend some time with him. No, I'm not joking. At least not about these cruises existing... No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
teknoman2
today the day started wrong and keeps getting worse. when i woke up i was feeling itchy but i didn't pay much attention to it i went to turn on my PC and there was no internet after passing some time troubleshooting, i came to the conclusion that the network adapter of the mobo is dead then i noticed why i was feeling itchy: my bed was full of ants (no idea how they got there) i set off to go buy a PCI network adapter and a can of insecticide. on the way, the AC of the car stopped working the store was closed so i couldn't buy a NA but at least i found some spray for the ants now i have to take the bed out, spray it, let the smell go away and then inspect it thoroughly to make sure there are no more ants. then wait til monday to see how to fix the internet. good thing i have an old laptop and the wi-fi works or i'd be back in the 90s (not really a bad thing but boring) The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder. -Teknoman2- What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past? Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born! We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did. Azdeus
on the way, the AC of the car stopped working Might just need a refill if you're lucky, that's usually why they stop working. Could be the drivebelt too ofcourse. Labadal
I watched my team draw 3-3. Very many swear words were uttered. Pulled hair from both chest and scalp. Today was the first time I ever put someone on ignore on these boards. I've been a member since 2010. I have only ever ignored someone on a forum once or twice in over 20 years.
