What are you playing right now?

I am just worried it'll be like Alpha Protocol, where I refused to do the timed hacking puzzles and seemed to miss a bunch of content as a result. Besides decking in the tutorial seemed pretty cool, I just want someone else to do it.

Grinding my way to the end in Broken Sword 3. Kind of makes me apprehensive about playing BS4 - but I might as well finish off the series.

In Dragonfall it's not missing out as much as having to fight much more often. A decent decker with some charisma can save you a lot of time and grief. Unless you're really into the combat system. Minor spoiler: If you create a Troll decker you'll still be able to pass (almost) every decking, intelligence and charisma check in the game if you save scum a bit, so they're generally really mild.

I always play a mage, and I got through Dragnfall very well. I think I played it twice and the second time I tried a shaman, but I just don't get the shaman as much. I wish it were feasible to make a good mage/decker combo, which is what I wanted, but all those jacks and whatnot harsh the magic buzz.

I just started Horizon: Zero Dawn today and think I basically made it out of the "tutorial wall off" area which took about 4 hours, but I did a bit of exploring and extra hunting, because the gameplay has been quite fun.  I will say that I'm intrigued by the story so far, especially with it being an open world and look forward to putting some more time into it.  The bow gameplay is quite fun and even the melee has a good weighty feel to it.  And yeah, it's gorgeous, even on a standard PS4.  I'll have to upload some screens soon.

Wait BS4 is worse than BS3 ? ;(

I did love near the end of BS3 when the chase is on and...they throw stupid crate puzzles at me. Well, can say the game wasn't all that challenging for me, only frustrating puzzles were the box ones and the elevator one :p, was still a fun story at least.

Edit : Ok, started BS4, control scheme is a bit more clunky and I'm stuck due to a bug on the stairs after 5 mins. Looks good!

Attack on Titan is great! A whole lot of fun to be had, I just wish I could play it on a beefy PC with a solid fps. The PS4 version seems to be 30ish or so and since you'll be doing a lot of jumping and maneuvering you do notice a difference.

There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

Picked up Horizon Zero Dawn.  Very early in the game so far.  It's difficult not to pronounce the character's name as "alloy" whenever I see it in subtitles.

TToN, but aren't we all at this point?

About the intro:

Seems they made it harder to die during the intro though? I tried to get myself killed without explicitly suiciding and it kinda didn't work :p

I didn't mind either the third or fourth games, really. Sure they were as middle-of-the-road as you can get but I went through each to completion and didn't regret it.

Don't regret it either. Just wonder why they thought people would like Tomb Raider without guns. Fourth game doesn't seem that bad, even if George's voice sounds muted for some reason.

BS4 is a bit better, which doens't mean much.  The story is weird though. So i keep forgetting there's 5 BS games. I just replay the first 2 and then maybe the 5th once in 5 years. :D

I actually went back to Fallout 4 for some reason and noticed that my total playtime in Fallout 4 is inching ever closer to my Fallout: New Vegas playtime! I'm very surprised by that. But I really enjoy just walking around and shooting things since the shooting mechanics are so much better now than in previous Fallout's. And the joy of getting a new gun or a new gun upgrade never seems to get old for me. I had the same joyful experience in the Stalker games (where the only 'leveling' you did was by finding better and better weapons).

I guess that's my thing.

Speaking of which: I FOUND XENUS 2: WHITE GOLD ON STEAM! AND THE PRECURSORS!!

You guys GOT to check them out! They're rough, they're half in Russian (still playable though) and they're AWESOME! Xenus 2 is actually Boiling Point 2 (if anyone here ever played that game with its flying jaguars).

The Precursors: http://store.steampowered.com/app/547930/

Xenus 2: White Gold: http://store.steampowered.com/app/546230/

I'm so happy right now!

Precursors is the kind of broken mess that every fan of quirky shooters needs to play.

Boiling Point: Road to Hell is also a broken mess that every fan of quirky shooters needs to play - I actually thought Xenus 2 was significantly more broken than Boiling Point so I'd maybe suggest playing the earlier game instead, but it can't be bought anywhere that I know of and is riddled with StarForce, so Xenus 2 it is I 'spose.

Are the fan patches still somewhere around? Oh, apparently yes:

My problem with FO4 is the horrible performance. I'm not going to buy an SSD just because Bethesda can't optimize their game to have even somewhat acceptable loading times. It just made me give up on the game.

On that note, does the "enhanced" Skyrim suffer the same issues, having been ported(?) to the FO4 engine?

Finished yesterday Dishonored 1. Unfortunately it ended as I presumed: I did not get the Clean Hands Trophy, due to me killing one of the assassins at start of the game :-/

I did not knew, that prologue counts into this trophy as well :-/

And today I continued to play Project CARS GOTY career, and after starting the Open Wheel events, I can say without hesitation, that I have necer ever before seen more retarded AI behaviour in a racing game. I spent today more than hour trying to finish one invitational event, and even when I have turned off all damage and penalties, the AI cars just tried to destroy my car. And in the end, one car just rammed me with full throttle and my car ended on roof...

Project CARS 2 can **** itself, I ain't giving them any money again for such a sloppy Destruction Derby PS4 port...

It really shouldn't, but I think there's like 2 bugs that can cause you to not get clean hands regardless

Well **** happens :-P I got at least low chaos ending. Next in line will be the DLCs and the I probably finish the game with Blink Level 1 only and High Chaos and probably I'll try the trophy where you can't be seen as well. But I think, I should play finaly some Pillars first :-)

Heh ... apparently I just finished the prologue of Horizon: Zero Dawn (playing as a little kid Aloy).  That was actually a pretty long tutorial.  Not so bad the first time through, but I hope you can skip that if you play a second time.

Reached the "main" game now.  First time you can actually manually save.

Im playing Dishonored 2 at the moment, its great and exciting and well worth the money spent

When I first bought the game it kept crashing after 5-10 minutes, I assumed it was because of a known bug I read about on the Steam forums  and the solution was to wait for the next patch

I then played Black Flag and that also kept crashing and my forum investigation revealed another bug, I started thinking  " gee these PC games have become unstable ...might be time to get a console "

Then I noticed after some hardware investigation that the fans on my Video card weren't working and this was due to a faulty power supply...so the issue was hardware related from day 1 and had nothing to do with patches, bugs or the perceived    "instability of PC games "

Yeah, I had Ghost on every mission after the prologue. I recently started over trying to remedy that but the playthrough kinda fizzled after taking out the first "boss" as I know I can do the rest of the game (since I did it before...)

Residents evil 7......good lord I'm loving this game. Screw the first 2, I'm gonna say this so far is the best one and it doesn't even feel like resident evil. It feels like I'm playing the "House of a 1000 corpses" game. So far love it.

Also been doing pillars go thru again. Still in chapter 2 but doing as much as I can along with some of WM1.
