Even Brotherhood of Steel?

Ah, you got me there.  After playing BG: Dark Alliance, I realized the console stuff was not for me.

I played Brotherhood of Steel just to see what it was all about. I actually liked the Dark Alliance games. But Brotherhood of Steel... I was traumatized for months and I still have PTSD symptoms.

Is than an endorsement at how the developers successfully conveyed the bleak, mind shattering horrors of survival in a post apocalyptic society?

Fallout Tactics was a lot of fun by the way. There were some bad missions like the jeep escort but when the game was on a roll it was freaking amazing. Mulitplayer was an absolutel blast with a good group too. If it were possible and I had a pc *twitch* I'd be tempted to try organising a SODOFF match.

Bruce I think you can get all three from gog.com still. They are a little longer in the tooth than Icewind Dale but the games are still fun and they're Black Isle' best work. You should get raround to them some day.

I'd rather have seen Fallout dead and buried than resurrected, flayed down to it's bare bones and then built into a homonculus. If you squint, you can see some similarities...

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

Fallout is not available on GoG. Bethesda pulled it right after they got all rights to FO games. No clue about other DDs.

They're available from other DD, but they are afflicted with steamworks. As, of course, you do for decades old games that will never be patched again.

Still, Herve gave them all away on GOG in a final asterisk you to Bethesda. Which just to show that in a fight between two craplords there can be some collateral benefit.

Good thing I got my copy before then, then. Not that I've played it yet. But I have it! :p

Not to found of that music myself, nazi techno-feudal doesnt too fit with latino rap. I think death metal fits space marines much more (and I even dont like metal at all :))

But otherwise looks really cool. Do we know what genre it should be?

That music. So Warhammer.

lel. Especially with the music at the end it's like some music fan dub.

They should've changed the music to something more bombastic, like:

"Some men see things as they are and say why?"
"I dream things that never were and say why not?"
- George Bernard Shaw

"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."
- Friedrich Nietzsche

"The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it."

- Some guy

It does go well with the bit when they cut loose with the assault cannons though
